One was an admin staff and the other was the cleaning lady. Upon entering my apartment, they can see why I had to hire a 3-hour cleaning service for my tiny one-bedroom apartment; it was messy even for my standards. After leaving a $40 tip (20%) in a sealed envelope for the cleaning lady, I left the apartment so I wouldn't be in the way. Upon my return to the apartment, I was completely surprised at my apartment's NON-transformation. To be completely fair, I do notice a difference in the bathroom, and I can smell the lemon-scent of the cleaning agents when I walked into my apartment. Other than that, NOTHING has changed. Perhaps the kitchen counter was wiped, but I could have easily done that with a Lysol wipe. Sure they took out the garbage, but again, that's something that I could've easily done. Plus, I still had my grocery bags sticking out from the side of the refrigerator --- exactly how it was before I left. Oh, and by the way, they didn't clean the refrigerator either. There were still towels and purses hanging on chairs, clutters of boxes/paper piled along the walls, etc. In fact, the futon in the living room wasn't made up-right (from bed to couch) and the sheets were still on it --- unfolded! Again, my apartment is NOT that big (500 sq. feet). I purchased the 3-hour deal specifically because I needed deep cleaning/organization; not a light cleaning. However, what really lead me to write this review and complain is the fact that when I entered my bedroom to get something out of my bookshelf, I noticed that my bookshelves weren't even dusted! I mean, what on Earth were they doing here for 3 whole hours?? $100+ later, I'm still stuck with a messy apartment. What a huge disappointment.

I told Will he doesn't need to worry about or touch any of the 2 bedrooms, hallway, livingroom, but I really needed a deeper cleaning of the bathroom and a tiny kitchen area (more like a bar with a sink and a fridge). I stayed a little bit, we talked, then I went upstairs to clean there myself. He was there for a few hours, I heard him occasionally speaking on the phone with someone. When he finished, he told me the bathroom grout is not cleanable, i should make it white by painting it with a grout marker. For the kitchen sink, he advised me to get a stainless steel cleaner ( I guess to clean it myself after he left, but I thought a cleaning service should include cleaning products and to come prepared and actually clean things) and that he didnt have time to clean the inside of the small, empty fridge. I paid him the money, but I already saw I have to clean, but I didn't want confrontation. When I walked through the place, the cleaning liquid was dripping from the shower ceiling, he forgot to wipe it off. The bathroom window and windowsill was left dirty. The bathroom floor was not cleaned, because the corners had accumulated dirt left behind, as well as behind the toilet and along the vanity. There was dust and crumbs on the hardwood behind the fridge very visible, and the floor was not cleaned, because if it was, it wouldnt have stayed dusty. He did not clean the inside of the fridge indeed, but since the top and the door was dirty (it is a black fridge, so easy to see dust), nor did he clean the outside. Considering he didnt have to clean anything else but those 2 tiny areas, this was a rip-off, maybe I was too nice and he thought I don't care and it's easy money. I don't know what he was doing for those few hours, but I felt cheated, because it was very hard to afford the $160, but I thought it was going to be worth it to save time I didnt have. But I ended up cleaning everything myself. I took pictures to send him the next day, but I felt there was no point.

He was super nice and despite a language barrier we were able to discuss what I needed cleaned. It was slightly annoying to me that Cleaning day did not give him all of the details though. I don't think I should have had to explain things but alas, the clean he did was great!! Really the reason I'm not giving 5 stars is bc it seems rly up to chance, the communication from the company feels extremely lacking and there's no support for a language barrier. There were a few miscommunications also (which again was NO fault of Alejandro's!). The price felt like I underpaid for the kitchen clean but overpaid for the bedroom - it was tough to know what to expect based on the website and not being able to totally communicate with the cleaner they sent (and I know they have bilingual staff bc someone called me as the cleaner was having an issue getting into my building.) Overall I might book again, but I'd know I need to be home for the entire cleaning so I am able to communicate various things the cleaner wasn't told. These guys are the top dogs in the commercial deep cleaning area. They're professional, do a great…read morejob and they leave your kitchen sparkling. My menu contains a lot of fried items, therefore it gets really greasy in the kitchen. By the time these guys get on the job, you'll never know it was in operation. They have high power equipment and chemicals to leave the kitchen and appliances looking brand spanking new. I have zero worries if a health inspector was to pop into my place. I'd welcome them in with full confidence that I'll pass inspection. Get these guys if you can, the rates are very reasonable for what you get.
