Checked my camera footage--couch steaming was barely done (two decorative pillows and half a chaise, that's it). They also refused to wipe blinds with a bizarre excuse, which I've never heard before. The house was not cleaned properly as pictures were taken of proof and sent after cleaning was finished. What a wonderful service I found to clean my mother's house while she was in the a nursing and rehabilitation center after suffering from blood poisoning. To say that the house was in disarray is putting it mildly but Brooklyn Cleaning Services came through along with Sarah and Dora in putting back together a home that was thrown apart. Speedy and Diligent, very polite and courteous at all times I'm going to post here BEFORE and AFTER. My Mom sadly for a long time was falling apart and wouldn't let anyone to see any of this and now she gets to come home to a place she can call a home. I scheduled a cleaner for a small bathroom deep clean. The woman who was sent did not speak a word of English, stood there for a few minutes, made some phone calls, then began to walk out of apartment without cleaning and gave no explanation. I called the main office and was told I would be called back and given an explanation as to what just happened. After about 10 mins of no call back and not knowing what was going on I called again and was told that the woman felt uncomfortable in my apartment and was afraid for her safety with myself and my elderly disabled 80 year old father in the other room. This was the second time I had hired this service and the first time, they showed up without enough supplies (I had to provide them) and the bathroom was not cleaned completely. : Misleading Services - Not What Was Promised in the Contract I hired Brooklyn Cleaning Services Inc. based on the package they advertised and the details outlined in our contract, but unfortunately, the service I received was nowhere near what was promised. From the beginning, the communication was unclear. The package I selected included deep cleaning of kitchen appliances, baseboards, and windows, but none of those were properly addressed. The cleaners were in and out in under two hours for a service that was supposed to be much more thorough. I even double-checked the contract to make sure I wasn't mistaken--but everything I expected was clearly listed. I even paid an additional payment for more time. When I reached out to express my concerns, I was met with vague responses and no accountability. They claimed the job was "up to standard" despite clear evidence that it wasn't--uncleand fridge, cupboards on the inside, stove top, sides of the stove etc. It's disappointing to feel like I was sold one thing and delivered something completely different. I understand that every job can have hiccups, but the lack of follow-through and unwillingness to make it right tells me this is not a service I can recommend. If you're considering this company, I'd strongly suggest asking for very specific written confirmation of exactly what will be done, and don't rely solely on their advertised packages and be present. read more

I requested a 3hr basic deep clean and was left feeling unsatisfied. I was assigned two cleaners, who were not identified until the day of the cleaning. Obviously kind-mannered people, but seemed a bit lost or unprepared in terms of how to navigate how the cleaning went. To elaborate, I think this was management's responsibility from the moment I booked. I requested that the basic deep clean start in specific rooms and elements (such as dusting baseboards). When booking, management accepted the request. Overall, it did not translate to the day of the cleaning. I will also add I ended up communicating with someone entirely different on the day as I reached out to specify my needs, after also clarifying to the cleaning team myself (and I couldn't do so in their native language unfortunately). bottom line: - They don't allot enough time ( 3 hours ) for a "deep cleaning" as advertised - which feels like false advertising .. they add a clause that if they won't be able to get all of it done in time they will ask for additional time at additional charge. - I doubted the cleaners ability to effectively clean due to lack of prep from management, and again squeezing cleaning in 3 hours. - I'm unsatisfied with how much they charge for the service I received compared to the advertising I "fell for". read more

Used this service about 2-3 years ago and it was great and even recommended them to a few others in between that time. I used it today. I paid $315 for 2 people for a "deep cleaning". This included the kitchen appliances, floors, baseboards, organizing, etc. for a 2 bedroom and 1 bathroom apartment. The two ladies were nice, but I paid $315 for them to clean half my kitchen and complain about washing dishes because it wasn't part of their "deep clean" (even though you see this on their instagram) and they sort of cleaned my bathroom. They offered an additional 30 minutes to complete barely any of the job and a $20 off coupon for the future. Unfortunately, I will not recommend using them for anyone and I will not use this service again. 2 people at 50 dollars an hour each, should have gotten a lot more done, especially based on the "contract" and "advertisements" that are posted. It's almost like they expect your house to be clean before they get there to just re-clean a clean space. Then what is the purpose of a "deep clean" or an expensive cleaning service. I'm very meticulous about how I clean my home and have been looking for a service that meets my expectations for years. Previously, I've had to clean my bathroom again or re-mop my floors (because I don't want to see any streaks) after cleaners have left. I'm so grateful to have come across Brooklyn Cleaning on social media and then lucky to have taken a chance on them. I first used them in the summer of last year and didn't expect too much. But in the deep cleaning, Dora and Noila followed all my requests and even more. They dusted and sanitized every where including door knobs and light switches as I had asked. I knew the service was exceptional when they cleaned the yellow leaves off my plants, dusted the top of hanging photo frames (who does that?!), and even moved my very heavy tempurpedic bed to clean behind the headboard. Again, all without asking. I usually call BCS for a deep cleaning every 3 months and each time is just as good. My friends who are as picky as me have also used this service and are so happy with the ladies. They are respectful, kind, and so thorough in their work.
