Two days later, I'm still finding things they didn't do that were clearly included. They asked for extra time but still didn't finish. Checked my camera footage--couch steaming was barely done (two decorative pillows and half a chaise, that's it). They also refused to wipe blinds with a bizarre excuse, which I've never heard before. DO NOT RECOMMEND! THE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. Two cleaning ladies came and took 3 hours to just leave the house incomplete and not cleaned properly. The house was not cleaned properly as pictures were taken of proof and sent after cleaning was finished. When we spoke to the manager, they refused to finish cleaning the house specially the second floor as the lady said " she has to go to Brooklyn" and the house will take longer to complete. What a wonderful service I found to clean my mother's house while she was in the a nursing and rehabilitation center after suffering from blood poisoning. To say that the house was in disarray is putting it mildly but Brooklyn Cleaning Services came through along with Sarah and Dora in putting back together a home that was thrown apart. The cleaning crew was very detailed in their assignment, I didn't need to direct them with anything as they took care of each thing which was discuss before I decided to use this company for my cleaning needs. Used this service about 2-3 years ago and it was great and even recommended them to a few others in between that time. I used it today. I paid $315 for 2 people for a "deep cleaning". This included the kitchen appliances, floors, baseboards, organizing, etc. for a 2 bedroom and 1 bathroom apartment. The two ladies were nice, but I paid $315 for them to clean half my kitchen and complain about washing dishes because it wasn't part of their "deep clean" (even though you see this on their instagram) and they sort of cleaned my bathroom. [[HIGHLIGHT]]They offered an additional 30 minutes to complete barely any of the job and a $20 off coupon for the future.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Unfortunately, I will not recommend using them for anyone and I will not use this service again. 2 people at 50 dollars an hour each, should have gotten a lot more done, especially based on the "contract" and "advertisements" that are posted. It's almost like they expect your house to be clean before they get there to just re-clean a clean space. Then what is the purpose of a "deep clean" or an expensive cleaning service. Advice for others, go elsewhere and find somewhere cheaper that will actually ge the job you are looking for done for less money or the same. read more

The cleaners were in and out in under two hours for a service that was supposed to be much more thorough. I even double-checked the contract to make sure I wasn't mistaken--but everything I expected was clearly listed. I even paid an additional payment for more time. I requested a 3hr basic deep clean and was left feeling unsatisfied. I was assigned two cleaners, who were not identified until the day of the cleaning. Obviously kind-mannered people, but seemed a bit lost or unprepared in terms of how to navigate how the cleaning went. I requested that the basic deep clean start in specific rooms and elements (such as dusting baseboards). When booking, management accepted the request. I'm very meticulous about how I clean my home and have been looking for a service that meets my expectations for years. Previously, I've had to clean my bathroom again or re-mop my floors (because I don't want to see any streaks) after cleaners have left. I'm so grateful to have come across Brooklyn Cleaning on social media and then lucky to have taken a chance on them. I first used them in the summer of last year and didn't expect too much. But in the deep cleaning, Dora and Noila followed all my requests and even more. They dusted and sanitized every where including door knobs and light switches as I had asked. I knew the service was exceptional when they cleaned the yellow leaves off my plants, dusted the top of hanging photo frames (who does that?!), and even moved my very heavy tempurpedic bed to clean behind the headboard. Again, all without asking. I usually call BCS for a deep cleaning every 3 months and each time is just as good. My friends who are as picky as me have also used this service and are so happy with the ladies. They are respectful, kind, and so thorough in their work.
