I repeatedly met with flooring people that I felt wouldn't work to my very high standard or made suggestions that were to make their job easier, not accomplish the sophisticated look I wanted. From the moment I scheduled the in home appointment with Joan. It felt right. I received a call to confirm our appointment and I knew they would show up and respect my time. Appointment time and Phil shows up just as scheduled in a really cool retro varsity company jacket. I true professional, very polite and knowledgeable. I explained that I wanted the two layers of existing floor removed and the sub-floor repaired and leveled out. I also let him know that I despise molding where the floor and walls meet and I want the flooring cut perfectly to the edges so the gap could be closed with a small bead of caulk. THIS IS WHERE I LOST EVERY OTHER INSTALLER. Everyone else didn't want to do this type of precise install. What does Phil say? Not a problem we have a team of expert installers and this is all they do. They will receive exact instructions and it won't be a problem. Phil shows me a bunch of floors and I write down everything to do my research. Phil follows up with a text to see if I need anything else? I told him I just need some time. I spend the next two weeks figuring out what I want and never got any sales pitches or other nonsense. I knew he was just a text away if I had any questions. He just let me have my time to figure out what I want to do. I really appreciated that. When I was ready and contacted him he said I could go to the store and set it all up with Joan. I walk in to see Joan and there she was in a company branded sweatshirt, very professional and easy to talk to. We confirmed the flooring I wanted and the price I was quoted. I asked about the particulars of my install and she showed me the instructions right on the order. I left the deposit and got a call 2 weeks later everything is in, and we are ready to schedule the install. Like clockwork the installers showed up on time and got right to work. I had Alex and two twin brothers. Everyone was super nice to be around and worked really hard. Each of the 4 Days there was a substantial amount of work accomplished. I honestly couldn't be happier. I love the new floors and now I have a flooring company I can trust. This is an amazing small business that feels awesome to support and gives the attention to detail others refuse. Out of at least 10 different flooring companies I reached out to, they were the most knowledgeable and responsive - always got back to me within hours. Their pricing was the most reasonable, and most importantly, their expertise in flooring really stood out. We had to change the start date of the project 5 times because of a leak that happened before closing, and they were always very accommodating. Upon a last-minute request, Alex came out to meet with us to inspect the water-damaged floor and gave us an estimated timeline of the repair, and he finished the project without delay (unlike many contractor horror stories we've heard). They saved us so much stress as a new home owner dealing with severe water damage. The new floor came out absolutely gorgeous and we're in love! Our friends and family who have seen the new floor all keep saying how good it looks too. It was such a great experience working with Alex and his team, and we would hire them again in a heart beat!

The team took the time to walk me through various options and find the right solution for the space. The LVT looks fantastic, and I was especially impressed with the hardwood refinishing. They restored the old floors beautifully and achieved an excellent match with the existing wood flooring. Despite mixed flooring, they did an excellent job making the floor feel seamless and intentional throughout the apartment. Everyone I worked with was patient and professional throughout the process. Melissa was incredibly helpful with all of the co-op paperwork, which I especially appreciated since this was my first co-op renovation. Angelo was on time for the estimate and helped me work through different options and narrow down the right LVT samples. Dave was outstanding from early talks to managing the day-to-day work - he was communicative, responsive, and always willing to answer questions. He also helped select a stain that blended beautifully with the existing floors. All of the work crews were punctual, respectful, and clearly took pride in their work. Throughout the project, everyone at Spagnoli was incredibly accommodating and always took the time to address questions and concerns, making the renovation process much less stressful. I had spoken with 10+ contractors and narrowed my search down to two flooring companies. Had a better feeling about Spagnoli, and I'm so glad I stuck with my gut and chose them. The craftsmanship, communication, and customer service were outstanding from start to finish, and I would gladly work with them again on any future flooring projects.
