Carpets 46 did an amazing job replacing our very old carpet and padding! It goes without saying that the carpet turned out fantastic, but what we will remember the most is how exceptionally Luke and his staff treated us. Luke was honest, thoughtful, patient, professional and just a pleasure to work with. His cousins who installed the carpet were extremely respectful of our property, working very hard and quickly. They cleaned up after finishing, and neatly put our our old carpet on the curb for next day garbage pick up. We will never ever consider anyone else for any carpeting or floor jobs! They are the absolute best. I wish I could call them for every home improvement job. Do yourself a favor and call Luke for your next carpeting/floor project! read more

We've used Carpets 46 two other times since 2009 so we knew we'd call Luke back for this new project. He is so kind and his prices are the best by far. I was torn between a very plain carpet and then this one. I was so scared to make the decision but Luke talked me through it. He brought both samples to our house during the measurement so I could make my final decision. The installation was easy and mess free. All in all a wonderful store and person to work with. My wife and I were looking for a good company to install brand new hardwood floors. Luke was a pro and really explained the whole process to us. We got several quotes but he was exxxtremely competitive in price and made us feel comfortable with his process. When the work was complete it looked AMAZING! It was a very hard install and we could not be happier. There were some minor issues but they were fixed immediately 5 stars! read more

Let me start by saying that Luke is amazing. He's fast, knowledgeable and fair. If something costs a bit much, he will tell you. I appreciate that honesty. He came out the very next day after contacting him for a quote and to measure. It took me awhile to write this review as it took me forever to get settled in our new house. The guys came out to install as soon as my very special carpets were in from the warehouse in GA. They worked hard, hardly stopped for a break and finished in a day. Really glad we went with Carpets 46. Totally recommend thus business! read more

This summer we reached out to Luke at Carpet 46. He called back and said we were interested in hardwood floors on our upstairs and we have carpet now. He proceeded to ask all the right questions in regards to kids are they active have people living below us since we are in a townhome. After 15 minutes he sold me we were staying with carpet. And of course hardwood ja more expensive so for Luke to recommend what would be best for our family was a selling point for me, before meeting him. When we made our appointment Luke couldn't have been nicer and explained the whole process for us. We made our selection explained we had some work being done in the house and he said no worries we will start after all of that is done. Luke came by and measured and assessed the project being in our home for 16 years there is a lot of furniture and a lot to do. He gave us a game plan and gave us days in between the 2 day project so we could take our time moving things back along with our boys being in school. His suggestion was a god send. Once the project started the team was so nice and extremely caring of our home and furniture and they worked so quickly and smoothly and took care of every aspect. At the end of the second day they even assisted in helping move some of the bigger pieces of furniture back into its rooms. The experience we had with Luke and his team was amazing they are tremendous at what they do and extremely caring and would highly recommend them to anyone. And the carpe feels amazing. Thanks again Carpet 46. read more

So happy I decided on Carpets 46. Very personalized and they cater to customer wants. Luke and his crew are professional and extremely knowledgeable about the business. We could not have been happier with our experience at Carpet 46. Every moment from start to finish was handled with professionalism and genuine care. The thing that really sets this place apart is the wrap around service. Luke handled our initial appointment, measurement, and follow up. His cousins did the installation - a true family business. We are new homeowners of a 100 old house, and there were some surprises waiting for us when we ripped up the old carpet. Luke was incredibly flexible, adjusting plans midstream and making recommendations based on his experience. On a separate note, I just want to mention that my two year old has had a couple of rough nights the past few months that led to me sleeping on his bedroom floor. The padding under our new carpet was so thick that I got a surprisingly comfortable night's sleep. That's quality! read more

Fantasic job by Luke and his team. Thrilled with the product, installation and customer service. Much, much better than my dealings years ago with a big box store. Just a wonderful experience. Thank you, Carpets 46! read more

I put off replacing wall-to-wall carpeting in my condo for way too long because the project was just too daunting. I had looked at carpets in the big box stores but always left feeling uncertain about what to get. When I went to Carpets 46, the experience was 180 degrees different. Luke chatted with me and helped me figure out a carpet choice that would best suit my needs in a very short period of time. It was such a relief for me to feel confident that I had made a good decision that I decided to have the kitchen floor replaced too.  Having all the flooring in a fully furnished home replaced can be a challenging experience but the installers at Carpet 46 proved to be extremely competent and efficient. I'm one of those people that likes to be involved when work is being done in my home, but once these guys started working, I realized I had to just step back and let them perform their magical transformation. They did a truly fantastic job. Needless to say, I am very pleased with my new floors! They look gorgeous and even feel delightful underfoot. Oh, and the price was reasonable too! This has become an example for me of the benefits of working with small, local business whenever possible. read more

Wife and I were in the middle of renovations to the house and carpeting for the second floor and stairs were last on our list. There were so many options to pick from and I would of had a hard time selecting the right carpet by myself. We consulted with Luke and he provided us our options and really streamlined the selection process. He was able to provide us a high quality carpet for our budget. Even after we signed the contract he was always quick to respond to any and all of our questions. The crew on the day of install were very obviously skilled, kept everything clean, and worked very fast. In the end we were left with the perfect carpet and a professional install. Suuuuper happy from A-Z with Luke and the team. We came to the shop and Luke listened to our needs and got straight to the point with his recommendation. A bit of a drive from our house, but well worth the trip. Luke was great to work with - explained everything in detail and answered all of our silly questions since we never bought carpet before. The carpet was installed quickly after our order was placed and the installation team couldn't have been nicer. The day it was installed, I was working under my car and one of the installers came over and gave me a piece of carpet pad so I didn't have to lay on the ground. It was greatly appreciated - how often do people do the little extra things these days! I couldn't recommend them more highly and would absolutely work with them again in the future. read more

We walked into Carpets 46 for our consultation without much knowledge about wood laminate flooring. We needed to redo the floors of three bedrooms in our house. Luke is a great person to work with, communicative and clear. Their selection of materials looks top notch. He sent me an estimate for the work after an onsite visit and afterwards promptly explained any terminology on the estimate that I didn't quite understand. When it came time for the job itself, it was done on time and extremely well by Luke's staff. The only thing we hadn't anticipated being so green to this was that the quarter round needed painting after the job was done, but once we finished this, I came by to survey the work and it looked like a new house. I'm very critical with details and design and I couldn't see anything that needed adjustment after the job. I would recommend Carpets 46 to a friend anytime. Thanks so much! read more

Luke was tremendous -- immediately responsive and extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Communication is everything these days and he kept in touch every step of the way. We chose Carpets 46 to turn our new house into a home. Thanks to Luke and his crew we couldn't be happier. From the moment we spoke over the phone to our appointment in the show room we knew he would be the guy for the job. We completely transformed our home using every floor option possible that Luke offered. Not only do the floors look phenomenal but Luke and his team were so incredibly professional. We put all our trust in him, literally, even a key to our house and he blew us away. Of course there were some hiccups along the way (existing floor wise) and he worked with us to stay within budget but still deliver top notch quality flooring and service. Thank you Luke! We definitely recommend carpets 46 for any type of flooring- outstanding!!! read more

The positive reviews for Carpet 46 are all completely justified. If you're looking for new flooring or carpeting, look no further. Luke is a true professional and spent a lot of time in the showroom with us to help us decide what we wanted. He even asked if we had pinned anything on Pinterest so he could show us the appropriate floor and carpet. He was very fair with his pricing and did not use any of the phony sales tactics that Empire uses (we met with them prior to visiting with Luke and did not like what they had to offer). Luke was not pushy and really took the time to explain everything to us. Luke was prompt when arriving at our house to take measurements and give us a final price. He continuously communicated with us throughout the entire process. His installation team arrived on time and did a fantastic job with the installation and cleanup. Luke even called us after his team left to ask how everything went and to thank us for our business. Carpets 46 is a great family-owned company that truly wants you to be satisfied with your floor/carpet. This is one of those purchases where you should not shop by price - it's an investment and you want the job to be done right, which ours definitely was. We will absolutely recommend this company to friends and family for all their flooring/carpeting needs and will use them again when we re-model our kitchen. read more

In early November, we decided to replace the carpet in our Living and Dining Rooms. We had not purchased carpet in years and were uncertain of where to go. In such situations, I usually turn to Yelp for potential sources. I have found Yelp to be beneficial for research and for posting reviews. In my Yelp search, Carpets 46 came up and the great reviews I read lead me to believe it was certainly well worth considering despite the sense that "highway stores", in my mind, can be risky. I called and spoke with Luke who was most gracious and assuring and advised me that he would be there that afternoon at the time I planned to stop in. Luke showed me samples based on what I had in mind and he brought those along with a few others to my home, a few days later. I decided on a particular color and style and then advised Luke that I needed it installed the week of December 12th. He said no problem and after giving me the price, set up a definitive date for the installation. By the way, the pricing, which included an upgraded padding, moving of large furniture pieces and take-up /disposal of the old carpet and padding was well in line with our budget. Luke followed up in the intervening weeks by phone or email to keep me updated and to reconfirm the date and time. Carpets 46 installers(three) showed up right on time and later that day finished the work in a most professional and quality manner. Luke called me afterwards to follow up and to once again thank me. The entire project, start to finish, was painless. Luke and his installers made it far simpler than we could have ever imagined. Carpets 46 is by far worthy of praise and consideration for any flooring project. read more

Over the winter we needed carpeting for our refinished basement and stairs. After initially going to one of the big box stores which was a very frustrating experience, I called Carpets 46 based on the reviews on Yelp. Luke was wonderful and exactly what we needed after receiving terrible customer service from the previous retailer. I stopped in at the store, Luke helped me find the carpeting that suited our needs and then he came right over to do the measurements. He was able to match the price of the big retailer and had the carpet delivered and installed within a week. Eight months later the carpet is still like new. I would use Carpets 46 again. read more

We recently had a bedroom and staircase carpeted with Luke from Carpets 46. We worked with Luke, the owner, and he was very responsive and a great communicator. He followed up when he said he would, and he did a great job with sourcing, ordering and installation. We had a fantastic experience with Luke and his team from Carpets 46. Looking for runners for two sets of stairs in our home, my wife and I did not really know where to start. Luke walked us through the range of materials and styles we could choose from, before helping us narrow down a few final options. Once we decided, his team moved quickly to order the rug from Europe, measure dimensions and install the rug within 2-3 weeks - an incredible turnaround time. We couldn't be happier with the final product. Luke and his team are incredibly knowledgeable and true professionals. We would highly recommend them to anyone we know! read more

We purchased a really lovely quality carpet at a very affordable price at Carpets 46. Such a great experience, from start to finish! Luke (the owner) made this one of the easiest, most stress free home upgrades we've made. The entire timeline to replace our stair runner and install carpet into our nursery took about a week and a half. Luke is the kind of small business owner who gives you his full attention and really takes the time to understand what it is you're looking for. He asks the right questions, and was able to help us decide on the best product to put over our tile flooring without creating lasting damage. If you're anything like me (slightly indecisive), you will appreciate his eye for design and color; when he came to our house to take measurements, he made such excellent recommendations on which colors would work well with the existing wall/furniture colors, and we couldn't be happier with what we chose! Excellent communication throughout the entire process. There was a snowstorm predicted for the day we were supposed to have our carpet installed, and Luke and his team pushed installation up by a day so that we wouldn't be delayed! The crew was in and out in a couple of hours, all following COVID safety measures. I would happily recommend Carpets 46 to anyone looking to install carpet in their home! Tip - make an appointment! My husband and I showed up without one, and we're so grateful that Luke took the time to see us before his next appointment, but we were lucky that his next client was running a bit late! read more
