He reached out from time to time to check in, and eventually, by the summer of 2026, we were ready to move forward with the removal and installation of new carpeting on our 2nd floor (approximately 2,000 square feet). From start to finish, Larry and Universal Carpet were great every step of the way (we never felt pressured to spend more money; he just insisted on choosing what we liked best). The carpet was just installed today, and his crew finished in just a little over 4 hours! It looks amazing, and we could not be happier.

She has excellent communication follow up and really helped us to get what we were looking for in a floor. Ann has tons of experience to share and definitely worth the drive to their show room. If you have the opportunity to pick the install team, I can't recommend Angel enough! He was our install lead and did above and beyond in my opinion for an install. He ensured the team did top notch clean up every night and put as much of the house back to normal each night to ensure it was livable. Angel even mocked up suggestions for us to pick for transitions and had excellent ideas from his 20 years of experience. Overall, I would highly recommend this company and will only work with them moving forward for flooring needs.

The quality of the work has warranted the low rating. They did not order the correct quantity of carpet to begin with, which meant two occasions for installation. But I do understand mistakes can happen. However, I now see that should have been a flag. After less than 6 months, there are multiple very visible seams in several locations. The worst being in the middle of a hallway - a major area of the house. I had never ever seen a seam in any carpet ever before, any where, so it was strange and somewhat shocking. They did respond and schedule to fix it in a timely manner. However, after spending 3 hours to supposedly fix the issues, a week later, the seams are just as bad. This has colored the whole experience to be extremely disappointing and I would not recommend them. At least not for carpeting.

The wrong wood had to then be removed, and the correct wood needed to be dropped off. Then rather than have us next in line to have our floors installed, which is what we would have liked in terms of customer service, they scheduled us another month out. This was terribly inconvenient because we had other home projects lined up with various cont based on the original timeline. Those projects are now all delayed as we await installation. Update: GWFC moved us up a week, so we're delayed three rather than four weeks. They also credited us $200. The floors themselves look terrific. okay, I'll update here since they finally installed the small granite piece for my stove backsplash…read moreand accommodated my request for first thing in the am. The 3 guys who arrived called ahead 20 min, and were super careful to measure thrice and keep measuring and using a level as the piece dried. I felt very confident watching their concern to get the piece on the backsplash in an attractive and straight manner. They could not have been more professional. I'll say it once and say it again: when you deal with the salespeople at The Granite Corporation (that's their real name not "Granite") you kind of doubt that they have a clue about what they're selling. I don't know what will happen and it takes too long for them to finish up a sale, even though they mean well. However, when the measure & install team shows up, those are the people who really know what they're doing. They are top pros. I asked Sam, my sales person, how are they going to make sure the glue holds on a vertical application, and she did not know. I asked her if I should cover my stove, and she said, don't worry (of course, I did). When they showed up, they scored the back of both my backsplash and the new piece, so more glue would be applied. They applied glue all around the perimeter (not visable). They taped the piece in place and I put a spongy rug on my stove (just in case). They said, glue sets in 10 minutes and they held it that long, and it is good to go in a couple hours when I can take off tape. I would have liked to know that there would be a little granite dust in my kitchen ahead of time, to have removed everything from countertops, but they did hold up a vacuum while they scored my backsplash, so I cannot say that I see any dust (besides my own). They scored the new piece outside my house. The treasure here is the cutting, measuring & install team. They are premium craftsmen, very experienced and know how to communicate with the public. They're the ones who should be selling the granite!
