I selected Carpetland in Falls Church VA to replace our wall to wall carpet in 6 bedrooms and a hallway. I met twice with Vigan, and got superior information about alternative brands and product lines relative to several competitors. He made the process easy in terms of listening carefully and addressing my needs and concerns, providing me with multiple samples to enable me to finalize my selection, and scheduling a measure followed by an extremely competitive quote. Despite significant issues scheduling an installer given today's labor market difficulties, Vigan ensured we got the carpet installed on our desired day. Additionally, Vladimir, our installer, worked straight through for 13 hours to ensure he was able to complete a high quality the job, and thoroughly clean up afterwards, in a day. He did an amazing job, and completely minimized carpet seams. We couldn't be happier with the new carpet and with Carpetland! read more

Great experience! We reviewed carpet samples at home, selected what we wanted, and arranged installation. The carpet looks great and feels great everything went according to plan. read more

Carpetland - New carpet made of triexta - Carpeting Near Me - Springfield, Virginia

My next door neighbor had Carpetland install hardwood floors throughout their house. Based upon their recommendation, I hired Carpetland to replace the carpet in my upstairs hallway and the stairs to the first floor and basement after my wife slipped and fell down the stairs on some old carpet. We replaced the carpet with the same hardwood that we have on the first floor. The job went fairly well. There was a language barrier, as the crew that was sent either did not speak English, or did not speak it well. There were a few hiccups, but they were resolved without too many issues. Fast forward about 7 months. I decided to surprise my wife while she was out of town and had the first floor refinished. I specifically asked if the job could be done within my timeframe while my wife was out of town. While I was told that there would be no problem, I was not told that the tradeoff would be only one coat of polyurethane instead of two. That second coat makes a huge difference! Again, a crew shows up and language is an issue. I tried communicating as best I could, but they did not seem to understand. Dust control was a major issue. I am still finding areas of my house other than where the work was done covered with dust. The floor was gouged just inside the front door. Whoever was using the sander must have been doing on the job training. You can see where he changed directions with the sander and I still see swirl marks on the floor. The foyer was not sanded evenly, but the crew leader swears he could not see it. After registering my complaints, John-the sales rep-was very apologetic and offered to send the crew leader out to make things right. Roberto came back two days later and tried to gaslight my wife and I. He insisted that there were two coats of polyurethane on the floor...even though he wasn't not even present when it was applied. He did (mostly) fix where the floor was gouged. The non-English speaking crew returned the next day to apply a second coat of polyurethane. It is interesting that she spoke English well enough to ask for payment before she left. Once the floor dried, I noticed spots that were missed. I reached out to John again and he assured me that he would have Roberto come to address any concerns and he would return with him. It was at that point that I made the mistake of paying the invoice. I have not heard from John since. My next project involves replacing all of the carpet on the second floor with hardwood floors. Guess who will not be getting the job? read more

Just needed a small carpet for bedroom guys very helpful in finding something very reasonable in price

Look no further. Seriously. I am particular about the quality and the price and Carpetland has been for decades always on point. Speak with Sam and he makes it happen. Last week I sent him a photograph of a runner he had installed in my previous home. I loved it. He sorted through his warehouse and found one last runner in that pattern. It was installed the very next day! read more

I decided to create an open floor plan in an older condo and worried it would be impossible to find parquet that matched and filled in the open spaces. John of Carpetland came to the site, measured and promised to find the match. YES!!!! He found the perfect match and his technician performed a perfect install. Every neighbor who has toured the reno is amazed and I am proud of my renovation. 5 stars aren't enough......this job rated 50 stars. read more

Horrible service! Received 2 emails confirming a date to repair carpet. They were supposed to arrive 7-8 am. I called at 9:00am, they proceeded to lie that they came by. We had already moved out and was preparing to put home on market. Not only did this delay putting my home on the market but I had to leave at 5:30 am to get there at 6:30 am. read more

Carpetland did a great wood floor install. Their materials were ordered on time and their contractors were skilled and fast. We saved some money pulling up the old carpet and prepping the floors. They have a nice selection of products and were knowledgeable about them. read more

This isn't necessarily about the Harwood floors themselves that were installed but the level of service I received from the installers, primarily Ibis/Elvis, which in retrospect I believe was sexist. To note, had I listened to the MANY "concerns and warnings" of the installer not only would the flooring project have stalled out but I'd be without any of my closet doors. In general, the flooring is adequate although uneven in some places w areas of missing molding. Despite the rest of the staff being extremely polite and assuring me that the installers behavior was uncharacteristic it just wasn't a great experience. read more

Unfortunately wasn't the best fit. They did a measurement, and provided a quote for laminate. Overall, they were okay. However, we arrived to finalize the contract, no one was there even though it was still within their business hours. They decided to close the store to do a measurement. Meanwhile the sample that we selected was still in the trunk of a sales associate. So that tells me their selection isn't complete. read more

Bought new, 'high-end' carpet from them a couple years ago. It was supposed to be very plush, stain resistant, etc. but showed large mystery spots and visible wear within a couple of months (and not from heavy use or abuse). Also had issues with installation and they had to return to try and fix. Very disappointed all around. read more

I couldn't be happier with my purchase from Sam at Carpetland. Sam worked patiently with me on design and a price within my budget. The two workers (Aldo and Jeffrey) who came to my home for installation were the utmost professionals. They did an excellent job installing the runner on our curved stairs and they made sure to clean up well. Highly recommended! read more

Poor customer service. They won't even entertain new business without a down payment. That does not make any sense.

Ok- to start with, the installation was great. Momo installed my carpet runner in about 3 hours-very efficient and following health protocols. But Sam is shady. I asked about using the 10% coupon from Yelp for my job. He then made up a story saying I had already asked for a reduction because I told him the quote was too expensive. He told me he had gone to his manager and had come down already so I could not use the coupon. Lies and all made up. Then he told me that it was too bad I didn't remember. So now not about the coupon- but about the fact that he isn't honest. Beware. read more

This review is for carpet we purchased and had installed almost 2 years ago. Sam was the sales representative I dealt with, and was very professional and patient - helping to show me several options within my budget. I was a little nervous using a business I had no referrals for, but this ended up being a surprisingly satisfactory experience. I received a quality carpet at a lower price than was quoted from many other installers. No issues with the install team - they were efficient, professional, courteous, and left my new carpeted basement spotless. This was the least stressful part of a larger kitchen and basement remodel following a major household flood. read more

Came to our home and did the measuring and and drawing. Never got a quote. Waste of time.

Great job & super staff! I had called & spoke to Ben--as a friend had used them & also dealt with Ben & was very happy with the work. He responded very quickly & was out within a day to give us an estimate. We have hardwood floors & wanted 2 rooms to be sanded & refinished. There was a bit of damage to some areas in those rooms. He was very accommodating with scheduling & when I had questions--he responded back within a very short time. The main installer, Jose, along with a helper--did a fantastic job! Arrived at the set time & cleaned up each day. I also had the pleasure of meeting Mike--I assume possibly one of the owners & he too was very helpful, friendly & informative. We are very happy with the results & will certainly use them again, if needed. read more

I have to say, I was pleasantly surprised by Carpetland. I had extenuating circumstances that basically meant I had to sell my home soon and it needed new carpet. I fully expected yet another uncaring corporate business, but John Y. at Carpetland was just a nice guy about the whole thing. He helped me keep costs way down and helped me select a color that would be good for the sale - Hamid, who did the measuring for the initial quote, was also very nice; I never met the installers themselves directly (my realtor did), but everything came out great. read more

We had such a delightful experience with Carpetland. My husband and I are new homeowners and we very nervous, but Mike the manager eased our worries away! Mike was very professional and accommodating. He helped us pick out a durable carpet and waterproof padding that is ideal for pet owners. He also followed up with us on multiple occasions to verify our appt and to ensure that we were satisfied with our service. Our carpet arrived on time, and the installers did an amazing job!
