They were wrong. David's sanders have vacuums and we had very little dust. Plus they were proactive and taped plastic on doorways and kitchen cabinets as well. They keep their overhead low and pass those savings on to their customers. Keeps them very busy, which means they keep full-time installers on staff; they do not use subs. Install crew arrived at 10AM and they were out the door by 4:30PM. Project was our upstairs, about 1100 sq ft, 4 bedrooms and our stairs.

Here I found what I wanted 8lb padding with plastic guard and soft carpets you want to sleep on. It took 7 days to deliver and was put in as soon as they could. If it wasn't for the darn holiday weekend and a prior appt. I could've had it done the day after delivery. The guy who owns it, puts down your carpet. It's like he backs up what he does. I like that in a business. On a side note, this is a truly ran family business. The installer is the owner. The guy who measures is his dad. The sales person, is literally everyone's grandma. So paying them made me feel good. How's that for service. They made me feel good while parting with my hard earned money. Do not go to Floors to Go. I can't vouch for their work. But I can vouch for the way they tried to be slick about charging me more money for my carpet by over estimating square footage, charging me for every little thing (removal, hauling, moving furniture, special staircase) and refusing to itemize what I was paying for. We ordered carpet through Full Circle Flooring rated as "pet-line" and would, supposedly, resist…read morestranding/looping from our dogs running around on the carpet. Within a month of installation multiple strands from the carpet began to appear which qualified for a full refund based off the amount of degree of involvement. Despite this, Full Circle deferred the decision on whether or not to refund us to the carpet manufacturer who then promptly stated that the stranding/looping was "normal" and did not qualify for a refund or replacement. On the positive side, they also installed LVP in our basement which did bubbled up in several spots. The company was attentive and corrected the areas that were involved.
