Clayton and his wife came out and talked a good game, but in the end it was another shoddy, botched, and uncompleted project that I AGAIN had to have redone by a more reputable company. On the surface, the floors looked okay but when you looked closer, you could see where they didn't bother to clean the floor before applying the sealant so there were various pieces of material and dirt that were sealed in along with air bubbles. And, within less than a day, the finish started peeling and you could literally scratch it off with your fingernail. Additionally, they used a semi-gloss sealant on my kitchen but used another sealant on the adjoining bathroom so the sheen didn't even match. And, they didn't seal the floor under the refrigerator at all. When I originally texted Clayton Bitencourt, the CEO according to their website, about the sealant not matching, he responded that he would have one of his crew members come and fix it. His crew member showed up and scuffed the floor but as he was going to apply the sealant, I noticed that he didn't have the same sealant product they used on the kitchen so I pointed it out. He then placed a call to Clayton but the name on his phone for Clayton appeared as Cleiton Silva. Clayton/Cleiton stated that he didn't have the correct sealant and he would buy it and return on Monday. Then, the crew member proceeded to use his vacuum on my kitchen floor and entry way while vacuuming the dust he tracked through the house, leaving scratches that ultimately peeled. Monday came and went and guess what, crickets. I texted Clayton/Cleiton the next day and asked when they were going to show up to fix it and he responded and said he'd let me know when they were on the way however, he never advised me and the crew member just showed up but no big deal, I let him re-seal the area. The crew member flashed a bottle at me of what appeared to be the correct product but after he applied it, it was wrong again so either the finish was wrong or they poured the other sealant into that bottle and posed it as the correct product to shut me up. Immediately after the crew member left, I texted Clayton/Cleiton and told him it was wrong again and asked him to call me to discuss the wrong sealant and the floors scratching so easily but he didn't respond. I attempted to text him again but he apparently blocked me so I sent an e-mail through his website on the contact form but he has yet to respond. After determining that he had blocked me, I initiated further research and discovered that this guy goes by three different aliases (at least), Clayton Bitencourt, Cleiton Silva, and Clayton Honorio. Additionally, his website shows that he is BBB accredited however, he is not. I contacted Thumbtack and filed a complaint since that is how I hired him. Unfortunately, I may be forced to take legal action to obtain a refund.

When we contacted Jeff to come out for a quote there was no delay and he came by. He had it measured and an estimate within a few minutes which is a first indicator that he is a competent contractor. Dates were set up for install and Jeff did not vary from the estimated date or price. The crew prepped entire house and kept everything clean. They updated us on each step of the process and completion was as said. The end product was absolutely beautiful. Let me add his price was spot on and way less than competitors. No added gimmicks or up selling. We will only choose Geist Flooring for all our flooring needs.

I have only great comments for the owner and employees for LUXURY FLOORS. They were extremely punctual, handled every aspect from helping me choose the flooring to picking it up and delivering onsite, installing new baseboard AND working within a tight timeframe. I didn't have to worry about anything, they took care of every detail and on top of that looked out for the security of my property. Very honest and trustworthy, excellent results. Got roof pricing estimate (lower than all other estimates) from Jacob (director of Business Development) which included numerous items that were NEVER installed by his roof crew (drip-edge, flashing, Rain-cap, Ice & Water Shield). Jacob insisted he would be onsite and supervise the job - but he NEVER showed up! Roofers started job at 430pm and finished at 8pm. They were in a hurry obviously - due to loss of daylight! And it shows in the poor quality job and lack of materials used. I advised Jacob of the shoddy workmanship and items not installed - and his response was "we installed everything! Why would you say we didn't?" He wasn't even there during the job - yet he claims job was done right - BEFORE he even bothered to come look at the roof! What kind of "Business Development" does he think that is? One of the goons (Bolton) told me he was an inspector, when I stated I need the roof inspected so to address my concerns. I asked him, "why didn't you inspect the roof after the job?" Bolton replies, "The crew said they did the job well"! Ha, ha, ha! That is Bolton's idea of an inspection - ask the crew if they did their job! What a joke! Avoid these clowns if you want roof done right! NOT worth the hassle! Poor workmanship!
