This company was recommended to me through a carpet store where I bought carpeting in Cape Cod. I had my carpet, sofas and area rug cleaned by them. The carpet and sofas were done in the house. The area rug which is off white was sent out. The in home items were beautifully cleaned. The area rug had areas that were still dirty when returned. I spoke to Bill the manager who had the rug picked up again and he worked on those areas. It came back today and looks excellent. I am extremely impressed with the customer service in this company. Bill and his workers have all been polite, extremely helpful and aim to please. The people who answer the phones are lovely, helpful and the time frames they provide are exact. this company is the worst experience that I had. I have a Persian big rug that is worth $12000. I usually send the rug every 2 years to be cleaned from my 4LBS dog pee with a company that unfortunately I forgot their name. They were excellent, my rug came back always after 2 months, clean with no residues at all. as I forgot the company's name, I googled and got the carpet cleaning experts contact, I called and set a time for my rug to be picked up. the following day a young man came in picked up the already folded rug. IN ONE WEEK they delivered my rug totally damaged, including discoloration in the fabric and bleeding of colors, A Persian rug takes at least one month to be cleaned. the Manager came to my house in arrogant behavior, denying the damage, and said you have plenty of Persian rugs you don't need this one???? read more

My dehumidifier pan leaked on a section of my basement carpet. I first called PuroClean who took a look (no charge) and thought a professional carpet cleaner could possibly save the day. They recommended I call carpet cleaning experts. I called and explained what the situation was. My basement carpet and stairs needed to be cleaned anyway. They said they would take a look and see if they could save the padding. They quoted me $99 to clean approximately 400 sq ft and also my shag carpet in living room. They came out 2 days later and the technician was right on time. They were able to accommodate first thing in the morning, 7:30am. After testing for moisture, we determined one section of carpet needed to be pulled up and the pad removed. He was able to clean and deodorize the carpet. The whole thing ended up costing 189 and he did a great job. He was upfront with the cost of everything and asked what I wanted to move forward with. My carpets look fantastic. He was able to clean the tile underneath that had a lot of water damage. Overall I am very happy with them and would use them for anything carpet related in the future. Highly recommend! read more

So, I HAVE read all of these awful reviews about this company, and I STILL called them to pick up my rug, clean it, mend the fraying edges and return it to me, -- because: 1) I wasn't in love with the rug and decided to take a chance, and 2) mainly because I couldn't find another company to do the work I needed to have done and my husband was really putting a LOT of pressure on me to get said rug out of garage and onto repair man's truck and back down on our floor!! Fast forward, rug was picked up timely by a super nice guy, it was cleaned, it was repaired (the owner called me with two options for the repair of the rug's edges and I went with the least expensive) - returned to my home in under two weeks by the very same nice guy, who opened up the package and unrolled the rug right in front of us to get our approval. We thought they did a terrific job. I don't remember the cost, but it was very affordable (or I WOULD have remembered!) and we could not have been happier. SO, I do understand that others who have Yelp'ed here were unhappy for one reason or another, and while I'm sure their reasons were valid, I'd simply like to say that we were very pleased with this company and are preparing to have them clean another one of our rugs soon. After receiving a post card from Carpet Cleaning Experts we called and they came right out in a few days. We wanted only our 15 year old living room furniture cleaned. For less than $200.00 we thought let's try the cleaning and if it does not come clean we will replace the set. Well Raphael went right to work and in less than one hour he transformed the old set to like new. We also had him clean a 23 year old rug in our sun room and now it is white again. I recently had my carpet and sofa cleaned. My carpet is fairly old and had a lot of deep stains from being in a high traffic area and from my dogs laying on it. My sofa had some deep stains from a spill my elderly mother made on it. I also had an area rug in my dining room cleaned that I was ready to throw out because it is off white and had some tough stains on it. The gentleman that came out and did the work at my house was phenomenal. Everything he worked on looked almost like new when he was done. One star is too high a rating for this Carpet Cleaning Experts. They picked-up and delivered my oriental carpet as planned and the deliverers were helpful and courteous. At the pick-up I requested that Billy (the carpet 'expert') call me about an appraisal. This was written on the work order. He didn't call. When the scheduler called to arrange delivery, I again requested that the expert call me before the delivery. He didn't call. When the carpet was delivered I requested once more that Billy call me. He never called. When received my carpet looked as though it was cleaned very spottily -- some areas bright with original colors evident, and some areas as if they were stained with tea. In addition, small white spots look as if bleach dripped on it. My carpet looks much worse than before it was 'cleaned' and perhaps is ruined. These are the rudest people I have ever spoke to, and extremely unprofessional. I scheduled to have my carpets cleaned on a Friday, because I had my final walk thru with my apartment complex. They call me Friday afternoon to inform me that they could not do their job because they did not bring a portable cleaning device (which is an additional $25, original quote was $80-$99 for 2 rooms depending on the sizes). When I asked them why they didn't bring the portable device or mention it earlier (I made it very clear I lived at a large complex), they responded by saying they assumed my unit was ground accessible because of the unit number, and that I should have known that they normally work out of their truck and need the portable device if not. Anyways, we reschedule for the next morning between 9-11, before my walk thru. They show up late at 11:45, and the front desk staff at my complex was booked solid and told them to wait a few minutes. I then get a call from their main offices and the woman I spoke to was miserable. She informed me that they can't wait because they're busy and leaving right now. At this point I'm getting very angry, and I tell her this is absolutely unacceptable and must be done right now because I have my walk thru in a couple hours and this is the second time they have inconvenienced me. She agrees to wait and the staff goes in to start cleaning, but she hangs up on me during the heated discussion. She calls me back to confirm payment, which she's now saying the base cost is just $99, regardless of size, and this going to be charged $25 additional too for the portable device. We argue about the additional cost for awhile because I didn't feel I should pay it after how much they inconvienved me. She kept threatening to call and have them stop doing the work unless I personally apologized to her. Under the conditions, I sucked it up and apologized so they could just do the job. If you ever read this carpet answering lady, you are an awful human being and I take back my apology, bitch. read more

However, they failed to arrive in time two weeks in a raw, and we kept waiting for them only thanks to their customer service representative, who was perfect in calming us down and reassuring that next time everything will be fine. ***DO NOT USE THIS BUSINESS TO CLEAN YOUR CARPETS*** I am not one to put down small businesses but this review is warranted as I don't want anyone to go through what we have gone through with them. We had a brand new area rug for our daughter's nursery, unfortunately our dog got into the room and peed in one little corner on the carpet. We called them since we did not want to ruin the rug and spread the stain ourselves since they were backed by google as being a supposed good business. They came to pick up the rug and said they would only be able to get 30% of the stain out but had to charge us $180 for that little stain on a 5x8 rug (which is absurd in the first place), but we really wanted to keep this rug so thought it would be worth it. First mistake, we should have never sent it with them EVER because the guy picking up the carpet said to me he was going back to someone's house after to get her carpet he just dropped off since she was an unhappy customer with the results. They returned the rug the next week completely destroyed with black streaks going down the entire carpet (it's light pink). We immediately called customer service and they hung up on us. They eventually said they would take the rug back and clean the black stains out. They took the rug to clean the black stains out that they put all over the carpet, only to return it with green and yellow stains all over it, basically completely destroyed and unsalvageable. Again, they were extremely unprofessional and hung up on us and said they refused to reimburse us. Had I known they would completely destroy our carpet, I would have just put something over that little corner that was stained and called it a day. They are extremely rude, extremely unprofessional and over priced and do not care for other's belongings. I can't believe people like this are even allowed to run a business. Their supervisor Bill Tremblay needs to be seriously looked at by the owner of the company because they way he is running things is completely unacceptable. We have photos of before the carpet went with them, the second time it came back, and then the third and they still were completely rude and refused to take responsibility for what they have done. I had an old wall to wall carpet cleaned. Their phone interaction is great - helpful with information, confirm appointment time, nice people. guy showed up on time, did a fine job. Then when it came time to pay, they charged me 99c more than the stated cost. For the principle of the thing I called the company. Only after insulting me more than once did they agree to credit the 99c back. I found it very strange and irritating to be insulted when they were trying to overcharge me. I used this company for the first time to work on a mysterious stain that was revealed after the rug was taken out of storage in my home - I didn't know what it was since the rug appeared clean when it was put away! I appreciate them for their candor and honesty - they evaluated the color and the spread of the stain and warned me it might not come out. I went ahead with it, the rug looked better when they were done - the stain wasn't completely gone. They certainly seem like they know what they're doing and I found their communication straightforward and professional. They also have a sideline with assisting people to find rugs to suit their spaces and this service is phenomenal. Bottom line - they know rugs. And I think their prices are fair. I can't believe that I used the same company that is bashed in these other reviews!!! We had about a dozen rugs that had to be cleaned after major water damage due to a burst water pipe last winter. Our water mitigation company actually called CCE in on our claim, but we had used them years ago as well for a rug cleaning. They took care of everything, kept in contact about the condition of our rugs (two were ruined in the flooding), and held them until we were ready to take delivery several months later. We also had them repair a hole in one of the cleaned rugs - super price and it was impossible to tell where it was when done. read more

This company has some of the worst customer service that I have ever experienced. The manager, I believe her name is Stacy, called me at the end of the business day yesterday leaving me a voicemail confirming my pre-arranged Saturday appointment range from 2:30-4:00 pm. As she left me the time (that we had previously discussed) and did not say that I had to call back to confirm, but merely to call if there were questions, I did not call back. The time was both accurate, as we had discussed, and I did not have any questions. I was very clear to her when booking the appointment that only later in the day would work for me as I would not be home until after 2:00 due to work. This morning, I received an extremely bitchy voicemail that "My person is running very early today. Since you did not call us back you can either reschedule or he'll come earlier." When I called her back and first told her that the voicemail did not say that I had to call back, but merely was an appointment reminder- she completely denied this. Then, when I explained that I needed a late afternoon appointment (as we had agreed upon) I was told I would have to reschedule as she said "I can't have my person sitting around for an hour." Ummm....so, somehow because her cleaning person was finished early somewhere else it became my problem and my fault- even though we agreed upon a time a week before this. In my profession, I see people for appointments. If I had a cancellation, I would never demand that my next appointment come an hour earlier- or else- because "I can't sit around for an hour." How exactly is this that persons responsibility and problem??? Apparently this company would prefer putting out and losing customers vs. being a tiny bit flexible. Stay away!!!!!
