We (hubs and I) went here tonight (Tuesday), at 5:30. It was not busy - we were the second couple there. The ambiance is very nice, classy. The booths are high enough that you cannot see those in other booths. The menu we receive was the takeout menu. It was 2 paged, but had enough options. My husband chose the fish and chips, and I had the white chicken chili. After our orders were placed, bread and butter was brought to the table, along with a pitcher of water (I love that! I may be part camel.). The food came out quickly, both items were very good. The fish was done well, and the fries were thin slice with a nice crunch. My soup bowl was huge (FYI), but quite tasty with a good amount of chicken. Our waitress was nice, and very attentive. Our total before tip was $14.98 - not bad for 2 adult dinners! We may come back another day while we are here.

This was a really nice place for a hotel restaurant. Excellent dirty martinis and strawberry mojitos. We were lead astray by the salmon cakes, though, as the video for the restaurant pictured two, and we only got one...and it was $14. Granted it was a large salmon cake, but still, that's a tad high for less than 4 ounces of salmon. The dinner rolls were not fresh and kind of hard and the attempt at making the butter presented as upscale was a big miss when we tasted the lavender sprinkled on top. Not sure if salted lavender is a thing? The saving grace was the paradise salad. It was enormous for $10, fed both of us plenty with some to take back for lunch the next day. Not sure we'll be back, but our server was quite sweet and did an excellent job.

The restaurant was in my hotel so I thought that I would stop at the bar and have a leisurely Bloody Mary while catching up on the daily news. My servers were very friendly and probably glad that I was only having a drink because it looked a little crazy busy. The restaurant is nice with a limited menu but I had plans all over the city so I was not going to have the food here today.

    Overcooked bland Cauliflower steak

Disgusting horrible food and service The food was overcooked overpriced and not prepared according to directions so they must have an illiterate staff with no quality control Would be a great option for aged seniors with no teeth or those that require bland diets.

We were staying at Hotel Julien, so opting for a breakfast here was convenient. Glad we checked it out, as everyone in our four diner party enjoyed the experience. None of us had the delicious looking buffet because we didn't want to pass out of a food coma on our long and foggy drive home. Three of us had the bacon panini, and rated them "A." The fourth had a waffle and also had rave reviews. Great stuff!

Restaurant is inside the Julien hotel. Had dinner twice during my trip. Both meals were great with fantastic service!

Good for large or small groups for lunch. I appreciated the zucchini spaghetti option. Service was good.

Entering, we got there a few minutes early and they weren't quite seating the first seating (5:00…read morepm). Within a few minutes, they did take us for our requested reservation. Btw... reservations are only made by phone as they are not on Open Table, Table or Yelp for reservations. The bonus is that you can request a booth (as we did) when you call. It was perfectly lit inside so that while still romantic, you can see the menu! We didn't have to bring out the phone for this. There was a special small menu as well, that had a special Valentine's Day menu. What I didn't realize, until half way through the meal, was that the cocktail menu was on the back side. We did have to request the wine menu, which came in an old, tattered notebook. An investment in a nice professional wine folder would be a nice touch for this more upscale establishment. We had a fabulous dinner for Valentine's Day! We did order a bottle of the house Pinot Noir, a wonderful sweeter wine from Napa Valley. We started out with the chef's salad, which was a mix of greens, feta cheese crumbles and a deliciously sweet and tart balsamic vinaigrette! Both my husband and I had the beef tenderloin, which came with scrumptious mashed potatoes and perfectly steamed carrots and broccoli. For dessert, we had the wonderfully tasty Betty Jane's Gremlin Cheesecake, which did not disappoint! It was so creamy, not too rich, with just the right amount of sweetness! Priced at $10, we felt it was a little steep for the very slim slice that was served as most couples share a dessert! Honestly, it was so good, I just wanted more of it! The service was outstanding with the perfect amount of attention. Bus service didn't really happen but the server, Gabe, was on top of it, clearing plates when needed. All in all, we had a lovely night celebrating Valentine's Day, a day early to avoid the crowds!

This average at best experience was a disappointment. We were one of only two tables on a Wednesday…read morenight. We normally sit at the bar, when we dine, but it was uncomfortably sunny at the bar so we sat at a table. Our waitress greeted us. We asked what the specials were and she had to find out. We also asked what were the menu highlights and she said the menu was new and she hadn't tried anything. I started with a gin cocktail. It was not as well balanced or well presented as drinks we had had the previous two nights. We ordered the roasted veggie dip to start. It was supposed to come with either pretzels or veggies. We forgot to specify and we got a small ramekins of dip with giant pretzels. Why not mix it up and have both? We also had the mussels. They were okay but not particularly hot or flavorful. For dinner we split the pork tenderloin which came with coconut rice and a pineapple mole sauce. Lukewarm and bland. You didn't taste the coconut or the mole at all and the carrot salad on top made the whole dish cold. To top it off, when the bill came it stemmed more than we expected. The waitress charged us for a beef tenderloin instead of a pork tenderloin. Luckily we caught it but honestly she had 1 or 2 tables and she couldn't get it right. We would not return to this restaurant- there are better choices in the area.
