Paul Glover the service manager called me Friday July 11, and gave me an estimate and time frame (3 to 4 weeks) to do the repair. I told him I would call Monday and let him know if I wanted it repaired. I called Monday July 14, and spoke to Paul and authorized the repair. He told me they would get the parts ordered. Monday August 1, (3 weeks later) I get a call from Andy. He asked what I had decided. He told me he had spoken to me and had left messages for me. I had never talked with him before and checked my phone for messages while we were speaking and there were none. I don't know if he dialed the wrong number or the messages were lost in space, I just know I didn't get them, and 3 weeks is a long time to wait to follow up if you don't get a call back. At this point I think he is confusing me with someone else. I asked him what machine are we talking about and it was mine. I asked if it was fixed, and he said no, they haven't ordered the parts (Paul had told me they were ordering them the 14th). Andy said some of the parts were not available, which I already knew because I looked at the parts manual and checked on-line part houses. I even called and asked the supplier about that, and they told me all the wear items in the clutch pack were available. I told Andy this, and his reply was "you can't put worn parts back in". I told him every part in there is worn, I'm not replacing every part. At this point I think maybe he doesn't want to do the repair. He said several times he wanted to close the ticket. I asked how can you close the ticket when it's not fixed? I decided I would pick it up. I picked it up Monday August 4, Paul Glover was on vacation, so I spoke with co-owner Evan Wise, about the situation. He got the ticket and could not believe what happened. Evan agreed to order the parts (and even left a message to tell me they were still waiting on one part) and when they had them and someone available to work on it, he would call me and I could bring it back, and they would have it fixed ASAP. Evan called Friday August 15 and said they had the parts and were ready to do the repair. I took it back Monday August 18 and left it with Evan. Since I expected it to be done in about a week, I called for an update Friday the 22nd. Evan was busy so I left a message. No call back, so I called again Thursday the 28th. Evan was out or busy so I told the person I was talking to (Jessica I think), that I'm trying to find out about the status of my tractor. I get transferred to Logan, I asked him what his job was, and he said sales. I said I'm trying to find out about a repair. He told me he had heard the story and would go find out for me. He went back in the shop and told me they are working on it. He would find out the details and call me back in 2 minutes, and he did. In fairness, it would probably have been done a week earlier but they had to order another part. A call back with an update on the status would have been nice. Got a call Tuesday September 2 from Paul telling me it was done and I picked it up the 3rd. Met Logan, I thanked him for his help, he is a very fine young man. Just when I think the ordeal is over, as I'm loading the tractor, I notice wires hanging all over the place and laying on the tire. I get Logan and show him, I had fortunately taken a video of the tractor the day before I brought it back that showed the wiring, etc. He had a tech to come and work on the wires. It looked to me like they didn't route the wires under the bodywork as they were putting it back together. The tech got the worst stuff rerouted. When I got home, I found more wires zip tied to levers and not behind the wire guards and routed incorrectly. I had to fix them myself. Unbelievable. In conclusion: Most of this could have been avoided if the person calling me that supposedly left messages, had followed up in a couple of days after not receiving a call back from me. However, there is no excuse for the mess with the wiring. I expect better from an OEM dealer service center. Let me say, I think Evan Wise, was sincere trying to make things right. It just seems like following up with people is not a high priority. I left multiple messages with a real person, and they either didn't get passed on, or were ignored. The only person that I thought was really helpful was Logan, and he was a sales person, not service. Overall, a bad experience and I cannot recommend Kubota of Ashville.

He paid a fraction of the cost of a new MacBook and hasn't had any issues with it since! My 2019 iMac desktop was running slow and started shutting down. I am not tech-savvy, and my ignorance and frustration led me to take my computer to ETR for service. My technician's name was Matthew. He was very personable and incredibly helpful! Matthew ran a diagnostic and adjusted some things that I don't understand. He also discovered that my computer was bogged down with tons of useless saved files, as well as apps and programs running in the background, which he took care of. He found that there was nothing seriously wrong with my computer and it should be good for another 4-5 years. Matthew worked his magic and, for about $65, my computer now runs very quickly and no more shutdowns! There was never any pressure to spend extra money on unnecessary upgrades. I was treated as a valued customer, and received expert service and advice. My husband and I highly recommend Emergency Tech Repair for all your computer needs!

But not treating customers well when minor issues arise is the worst. let me tell my story. I brought my computer to them needed cleaned up and new malware software. When I picked it up they gave wrong cord, and searched and found my cord. When I started using the computer it was still flashing pop ups and was now timing out on searches. I called and left a message the first week, then again a week later, no return call. So I took it back to them, explained the above to the clerk, he said okay and tried to charge me for a new service. I stated that the first service was not done properly, and unreturned voicemails. He said his voicemail had been messing up and he would message the owner. we stood waiting for 15min, no one else in the store. Asked if he had heard, he said no, asked it he could take it in and charge me when i picked up he said no, asked how we could resolve this that we did not have the time to continue to wait, he said he would need to hear from the Elijah before he could take the computer. At that point I offered to pay and speak with owner when I picked up, he refused, stated I could not wait and he told me "that is a your problem". Called in later and got a voice message that they are not taking new clients. So thanks for being so wonderful to us 2 years ago. Sorry you are overwhelmed. I hope the people you choose to treat poorly during this season are not the ones you need to survive long term.

And I kept a lot of…read morethe negative things to myself, trying to have patience and understanding and knowing it's not a perfect world. Here are just some of the things I experienced: - --Bizarre interactions with the office staff - particularly the office manager (and one other). ZERO sense of accountability or humility when they are completely wrong and have no idea about your insurance (year after year), your estimates, your appointments, etc. They make things up as they go about their office "policies", including telling you that "all patients pay 100% up front for major procedures". What?? They always charged for each individual service as I went along, and I paid in full at the desk before leaving each time. Sounds normal, right? But then the manager starts calling that a "payment plan" and saying that "all the other staff were wrong" by charging at each visit for each service. Huh? That is paying for a service 100% - immediately after getting it. That is not a payment plan. Other dental offices have confirmed the absurdity of this. The manager has no idea what she is doing, whether it's regarding your insurance, your estimates, their "policies", or screwing up your appointment and then saying she didn't. --- Very bad experiences with a few (of the many) hygienists I saw there. One of them loved to sing loudly in your ear while she "cleaned" your teeth, and that only took about 7-8 minutes, pecking around on a few teeth, then floss and polish, and "ok! all done". One reviewer referred to them as the "Jiffy Lube" of dental offices. I agree. Move them in and get them out. --- Another hygienist was not-so-hygienic. I was very close to getting up out of the chair and leaving due to her strong...odor. I won't say more about that. Her very awkward behavior and comments were another thing I won't go into. And she too spent literally less than 8 minutes "cleaning" and continuously jabbing my gums with the suction. It seriously seemed like a bad prank. --- One reviewer noted that this is a "girl's club". VERY accurate for sure. And the staff turnover is something soo many people have mentioned - even out in the community. New people every time. And the few good ones are gone. Like no other business I've ever seen. The office manager will tell you that it's all "maternity leave". It is not. ---Another reviewer noted the very blatant political views proudly displayed at the front desk. I never saw that, but I can totally believe it. Another example of the lack of professionalism here. ---The atmosphere and human interaction is very cold and very impersonal. There's a sense of fear in the air. This is not at all your welcoming family dental practice where you develop a friendly human relationship with the staff/dentist/hygienist. I'm going to a new office now, and the difference is absolutely night and day. The people there are highly-professional, friendly and very personable. It's a breath of fresh air. ---And finally, the owners of Cataloochee Dental (2 dentists at another branch) have refused to respond after writing them a multi-page, well-thought-out and detailed letter about it all and asking them very nicely for a reply. I suppose reputation and regard for a patient's experiences don't matter? If enough people speak up, perhaps it will at some point.

It is now many years later (2024) and I've had to move to a retirement village where we have an IT department which takes care of most of our IT needs. Unfortunately my old, 5SE iPhone which I need because of manual dexterity problems, couldn't be repaired by the new, young tech and ended up in worse shape than before. The floating Home button cannot be eliminated, the regular Home button which had been difficult to push is permanently stuck.
