He had to have the car towed back to the dealer. The auto dealer had a mechanic look at it - charged my son 20$ to do so - said they couldn't find anything wrong. They refused to take the car back. He took the car home. The engine is full of sludge and is completely shot. He needs to put a new engine in this vehicle. He tried to get Family Auto to do the right thing, and take the car back and give him back my money, but they refuse. They sold him a car with a bad engine, and even though they sold the car "as is", I feel it is very bad business to sell a vehicle like this and refuse to refund the money when the car breaks down the SAME DAY he purchased it. He did not even make it home! My son would like his money back for this car. He is a young man, soon to be a new father, and he cannot afford to be ripped off like this. He purchased this car on April 19, 2011. He dealt with a man named David Atkins. The car is a 1998 Nissan 200 SX SER. He paid $2190 cash for this vehicle. I have filed complaints with both the Better Business Bureau and the S.C. Attorney General/Consumer Protection agency. Watch out for this company. They are BAD, BAD NEWS!

We had tried a few other car dealerships and were told "due to your short length of time on the…read morejob, you're going to get a NO where every you go" I work contract, make well above average income, at Crown, they looked at me as a person, the fact that I've been doing the same job for 22 years (on contract) not the amount of time I was at this particular company on contract. Before we even set foot on the car lot, I had sent in all my documentation (Drivers Licence, Proof of income, residence etc.), Brian and John (I think that's the right name) checked my information, interviewed me for the loan and had an approval amount before even getting there. Although we chose a car we absolutely loved from the internet pictures, it happened to be about $4,000.00 more than our approval, but they worked with us, our down was only $500.00 more than for something in our approval amount, we received a much lower interest rate than expected. They deal with people from all walks of life, from those making minimum wage to those making over $150k a year...no matter what your situation, you're not brought in with a false sense of what you're approved for then sent to what I call the "Dog Pound" of ratty cars, you know up front before even going what you're approved for and are given a choice of late model, quality vehicles (in our case we were determined to get the one we fell for). Brian had the car we were interested in waiting for us when we showed up, handed us the keys for a test drive and when we returned, it was a matter of getting the car on our insurance, signing the paperwork, paying the downpayment and we were on our way!!! You will be treated with the respect and integrity you deserve, nothing hidden like 99% of the car dealers out there. Everybody was friendly, they make you feel like family, they're professional and don't pull anything over your eyes... If you're looking for a car, bottom of the barrel horrible credit or top of the chart excellant credit, you're going to get awesome treatment... I recommend this dealer (with multiple lots to pull from) 150%... If I could give them 10 Stars instead of 5... I would...

If you're thinking about a Passport/Pilot I would recommend you go in a drive one and ask for the Bulldog, aka Mr Morris. So many great features to like about this vehicle, the biggest being SAFETY! So many safety features and when you have your 4 Grands, that is the prime mission! I just turned the appropriate mileage to take it in for the oil change and service check. I made the appointment on-line which was smooth and easy. I like those 7:30a appointments. The Staff was ready and waiting and once again I interacted with Jack. Very professional and a nice man with good comm skills and great manner. I was having some trouble with the rear hatch sensor. It's activated when you wave your foot under it. It worked when I first got it but it's been about a year and I don't use it that much. Jack brought the 'expert' in and he demonstrated a technique I wasn't aware of. It works, now that I know the technique. An example of their attention to detail and my concern about an important but rarely used feature. I've never once regretted my decision to purchase this vehicle.

This statement details a highly unsatisfactory service experience I had at JTs Kia of…read more rock Hill on November 1, 2025, with my 2020 Kia Soul. The service failures involved incorrect diagnostics, incomplete work, and misleading information from the service advisor Kelly Copeland and the mechanic. 1. I brought my vehicle to JTs Kia of Rock Hill for an alignment, an oil change, and a new tire. I explicitly informed the Service Advisor, Kell Copeland, that the vehicle had hit a large pothole, which was the cause of the alignment issue. I also asked Ms. Copeland if the technician could investigate why the low oil pressure light was not activating. Ms. Copeland's response was that the light would only illuminate if the engine was "bone dry." This information is technically incorrect and concerning, as an engine at that state would be at immediate risk of seizing. 2. The technician replaced the tire and drove the vehicle to an adjacent building for the alignment. Upon completion, my keys were returned by Ms. Copeland. As I was leaving the parking lot, I immediately observed that the initial problems persisted: the steering wheel was severely off-center, and the vehicle pulled strongly to the right. I immediately returned, and the mechanic apologized and took the vehicle back for a second alignment attempt. 3. When the vehicle was returned the second time, the alignment issues were still present. Another staff member intervened and contacted Ms. Copeland, who stated that I would need to return on a different day. I refused, as I had already paid for a service that was not rendered. Ms. Copeland then came over and informed me that the alignment could not be completed because the machine required a "software update." This explanation was dubious. The charge for the alignment was refunded. 4. Upon returning home, I removed the front passenger-side wheel (the same wheel that your technician had removed to replace the tire) and immediately identified a visibly bent inner tie rod. This finding raises two critical concerns: A. Your technician failed to notice a clearly damaged and bent component, which was the true cause of the alignment problem, even while working on that specific wheel. B. The explanation of a "software update" was verifiably false. The issue was a mechanical failure that your team was unable or unwilling to diagnose. This is further contradicted by the service report, which noted my vehicle was "out of factory specs" but failed to identify why. I have since purchased and installed a new inner and outer tie rod myself. I then took the vehicle to NTB for an alignment, and the issue is now fully resolved. The vehicle drives straight. This entire experience demonstrates a significant lack in basic diagnostics, quality control, and transparent customer communication at your service center.

When I was first talking to Jaser (the main guy) I was guaranteed that if there was a major problem they would fix it. 30 minutes into my drive home the day I bought it and it overheats. So the very next day I come back and they offered basically no help. After a couple of weeks trying to get them to take back the car, that overheated the day of, they "agreed" to help. They suggested that I leave the car with them and they would sell it for me. I was told that the car would sell in 3-4 weeks. So after 3 months I came back and and the car was not on any list on their site, something they told me they would do, and the car was a mess. The battery was dead, the front left tire was completely flat... So they said that they would definitely get their mechanic there to look into it. They had the car for one year total! Literally nothing was done to it. They also in between this time recommended me to their mechanic a guy by the name of "Tariq" who told me that the car needed a new sensor. So i got the sensor replaced and then he told me HE had to be the one to replace it. So he replaced it with another sensor charged me $75 and told me it didn't work. After the year of them holding onto the car I called hoping to get some answers on their progress and was told that I need to get my car off their lot or they'll call the cops. Then, it sounded like the person on the phone was speaking to one of his friends when I heard "I'm so f***ing tired of this guy, lets just get a truck up here and toss his car" to which his buddy replied "I got a gut with a tow truck we can grab it now..." So needless to say I towed it home and have been learning to fix it myself. It still overheats. Anyway, back to my main point, I would not recommend this car company one bit unless you really want to learn how to fix a car. Your money would be better spent elsewhere. I would literally spend an extra $3000 somewhere else and get a car you can actually drive. I would rather have spent it buying 6,000 McDoubles from McDonalds than a car from them.
