My license was expiring yesterday and I was very worried and did not have any appointment. Read some online reviews and decided to go to Garner even though it was quite far from my place. I reached there at around 6:30 AM (best thing I did) and there were only 4 other people before me. By 7:45, there was a long queue of about 30+ people. By 8 AM, the office opened and the officer announced that they would take the appointments first and maybe after 11, they would take the walk-ins. However, within 15 mins, they asked the people on the bench (all walk-ins) to get in and I was done in next 30 mins. By 9 AM, I walked out with my driving license renewed. Amazing place, amazing staff. Very efficient, courteous, humble, understanding and professionals. If you are nice and respectful, you would get the same response back from them too.
