Did a tune up used aftermarket parts which failed which caused me to lose more money went back up there towed my car to him and he said he can fix the vehicle. James did another tune up and and left the motor cover off , let my vehicle sit for 7 days and everyday told me he was going to work on it. Cost me $400 for nothing. Had to tow to another service center. As for the owners son Chris he is entitled and on a power trip. After keeping our vehicle for 7 days he told us we don't work on transmissions which wasn't the problem nor do we do electrical work. Absolutely no communication well I must tell you this damn Yankee will never do business with them again. Let it be known that there are a lot of damn Yankees down here which they just lost as customers. I do not recommend even going there for gas!!! After 6 years was treated like a stranger. Hillbillies reaping benefits of urban sprawal. Like our money don't like us. Damm Yankee.

Fast forward to 7 years later, they show up wanting to remove it with a piece of paper on a clip board saying it belonged to them. They then came out to my property unannounced twice to paint and add stickers to their tank, probably because they had been in violation of the law for the last 7 years. Well, thankfully, we now have natural gas in the area so I am switching. Don't be fooled by their "small town" BS. Go with a bigger company that is competent and safe. Any company that can't keep track of their own equipment and cannot obey NC LP regulations is not a place you want to do business with.

It sent us to a pawn shop to pick up the truck. We went in and were told the truck is not back yet. (Very unprofessional in that place) They sent us to the official uhaul site up the street and stood in line while I heard many complaints about extra charges to their accounts that weren't accurate. While being respectful, I discussed the issue we ran into with their associate, and offered them to find me a small truck in stead of the one we need isn't back. There were many small ones in the lot. The associates response was, all of the trucks are RSVP, The associates weren't very much so about their customers in there.. and told us to call the 800 # to find a truck. He told us we can make a RSVP. . . Why? so the same thing that can happen again? I think it's a bit frustrating and unprofessional to run a uhaul MOVING supply company and expect people to RSVP a time to rent, then have them shift their schedules around, IN THE MIDDLE OF MOVING to find out they can't supply us with what we need. Hopefully they work on updating their website, and hold more professionalism at their work site. A little insane.

Been with this company for many years. Never had an issue. With winter weather approaching on…read more1/30/26, I checked my propane tank. I was on 30% which is the threshold in which Rose Oil requires you to call. Made the call and they said they would put me on the schedule for Monday 2/2/26. I was skeptical to wait that long but also at their mercy. Called the emergency number on 2/1/26 to notify Rose Oil that I was now on 10%, same response. Called 2/2/26 that I was now empty. Said I was on the route. Even after visiting their office on 2/3/26 and explaining that I have a baby and toddler I still have no propane and a cold house. Had to pack my family up and get a room. Was a great company until it was bought out by GPM Empire. Rose Oil owns the tank so no other company will fill.
