RALEIGH Deck & Screen Porch Builder "respectfully declined" our inquiry. Moreover, they were kind enough to explain why. Vic (the owner) told us that his company "can't risk being stopped with people jumping on our truck." He also told us that even "before all of this mess" homeowners near us refuse to keep their garage doors open. I feel like such a fool! Here I am, taking daily walks with my wife through the neighborhood and walking by multiple construction projects, having no idea what really goes on. I thought I knew the area well, but I should take the word of Vic, who once played softball nearby. Vic also explained that we "live by the biggest section 8 housing complex in North Carolina." I really appreciate this highly relevant piece of information as it directly pertains to my screened-in deck. Some might wonder why Raleigh Deck & Screen Porch Builder didn't simply and succinctly decline the work. I for one appreciate a detailed explanation as to why this company does not want to accept my money in exchange for its services.
