I reached out to the original contractor for repair but he was a no-show for scheduled appointments and would not respond to me back as promised. After 2 months of trying to get a straight answer and resolution from the original contractor, I decided to look elsewhere. I found J & C Flooring on Yelp, a local family-owned business. The experience with J&C was quite the opposite: excellent communication, fast response for quote, competitive pricing, very knowledgeable, and the floor was repaired quickly and correctly. I am very pleased with the whole transaction and the results; I feel like a valued customer. Without a doubt, I will reach out to them again if I have more flooring needs.

Was given a quote after numerous times asking for it. When trying to arrange to have other items repaired in home and schedule installation, they just vanished. And if something happens to my flooring within that one year timeframe, who do I contact if they are not communicating with their customers? Very poor communication! Very unprofessional behavior.

We did so, but Kohler sent the wrong part (not the part that Ben said we needed), which Ben discovered when he came out the second time to fix the faucet. They apologized and promptly sent it, and Ben (and Mason) came out a third time -- it was the right part, and Ben promptly fixed the shower faucet. Big kudos to Ben, for his expertise, kindness, and patience, and to Mason for being his great helper.

I had renovations done in my garage, including a popcorn ceiling removal, which left plaster, paint, and debris all over my items and garage floor. Essential Commercial Cleaning ensured that each item was handled with care and carefully cleaned/wiped down. They vacuumed and cleaned the garage floor and sprayed down two large garage mats. At the end they also broom swept my front porch, which also had construction debris on it, and was a kind and thoughtful addition! After a dormant winter season it was time to wake up the sprinkler system, and as seems to be typical ... there were problems. Tried to fix it myself, but too messy and too many trips back and forth to Lowes and Home Depot for the inevitable wrong parts. Time for help!!! Checked on Yelp and Big League Irrigation stood out. Reviews claimed a 100% call back rate and call back within 20 minutes. That was important to me, and it was ABSOLUTELY TRUE.
