Paul did an excellent job with an 87 acre parcel near Carthage, NC. He is easy to work with,…read moreprofessional, and even came in under budget. Paul walked the entire property with me and gave me suggestions to help meet my intent. Paul can also do way more than under brushing: he reclaimed an old logging road that was severely rutted, cleared and leveled a small hilltop to place a 12'x20' shed, debranched all the small trees he cut down that were 6" to 12" in diameter and stacked them for me to use at a later time, and even installed a culvert to gain access to property. The only thing I regret not doing is taking a before and after picture. That's ok though because I am going to hire him again to fix another old logging road that's even more rutted out, this time we will take pictures.

This is a good option for disposing of materials like concrete and asphalt which the Wake County…read morelandfill next door does not accept. It is a drive in operation where your vehicle is weighed before and after you dump your materials. The scale didn't appear to be extremely accurate since it weighed about 20 lbs MORE on the way out. Anyhoo, they charge by weight and it ends up costing around $41 per ton with a minimum of around $10 for anything less than a ton. You need to leave a credit card or some cash at the drive-up check in window and then return to the scale to be re-weighed. It would be a lot more convenient and quicker if there were two scales, one incoming and one outgoing with a separate window at the exit, but there is only one scale and one window. That means you need to drive around again and that sometimes means getting back into a line. Not a big deal but it would be a time saver. Overall, a good location for disposing of certain materials.
