Very disappointed today... ordered a chili relleno burrito, which has been delicious in the past. Today there was NO chili relleno in the burrito... only a few scattered chopped peppers and absolutely no cheese anywhere in the burrito. I only give this a 1 star service was great but I don't think I will ever eat here again.. I ordered the Carnitas wet burrito and I believe it could have been canned Cat Food at least that's what it smelled like and it tasted like tuna gross my husband had a carne Asada wet burrito and he said it was okay but for the price everything should have been excellent, but it wasn't. Okay - so we went back to try a Taco Tuesday with them. A big NO. That taco was the WORST we've ever seen anywhere. The shell was hard as a rock and the chicken in it was DRY and barely edible - we only ate part of it because we were hungry. The chips were terrible and not what they used to be like. It's so confusing to us because years ago, it was a favorite place to go. They were so generous with chips and salsa while you waited for your food. Everything was good. But that taco Tuesday was the worst we've ever experienced any place. Months later, we decided to try again - for breakfast. Maybe they won't ruin breakfast. The Breakfast Burrito was just "okay". I had Chile Relleno Burrito and it was HORRIBLE. OH! the chips were better - more like the first few times we'd ever been there. We'd REALLY like this place to do better. I came here because I'm a fan of carnitas plate and the place looks very authentic I was very excited to try their food. We ordered carnitas plate and chicken enchiladas with green salsa. The carnitas meat didn't stand out to me, and their green salsa flavor was lacking. It tasted like vinegar and had no kick in it. The beans were good and the service was also good. I wouldn't come back again unless they improve their green salsa. If you don't like spicy salsa I would recommend visiting here. read more

My only issue and reason for the low review is the fact I went to purchase chips and salsa for take out for dinner since my wife made Mexican. But we wanted chips and salsa from here to go with it. I ordered it and the girl behind the register told me ok that will be $20..... I said what? You have the wrong order I just have a small bag of chips and salsa. Yes that will be $20......... You're telling me what you give out for free if you eat in, and an item that realistically costs $2 to make... is going to cost me $20.... When a full entree from here is $15?!?! Plus the chips are free if you dine in.. Worst part is, the bad was under a heat lamp for god knows how long. Salsa was great. But it was an embarrassment that the owners and or management can justify charging their customers $20 for chips and dam salsa. I'm embarrassed just paying for it. I can't imagine seriously having such a great restaurant and charging that amount for day old chips and not feeling ridiculous about pricing this. My wife and I enjoy coming here and find it good but not the best I've had. The food can be a bit more flavor full but it's above average. The price is good and the portions will have you bringing home a present for later. Lots of choices including the option of muffin, pancake, fruit and more with a breakfast entree. This long-time Mexican restaurant has always had good servers and the food has been excellent. The servings are generous. Today I had their chicken quesadillas. They were served on large tortillas and were filed with shredded chicken and good cheeses. Two of them at lunch was very filling. So, I brought the other two home for dinner.....yum!!! read more

First time there. Really liked the place when we walked in. DON'T order the El Gordo Appetizers Combo....(1 star). It came out luke warm. Onion rings weren't completely cooked. Cheese on nachos not melted. mozzarella sticks not even close to melted inside. Potatoes skins were pretty good but we're cold in 5 minutes. guac was good, salasa was so,so. I tried to eat as much as I could because the bill was 40 bucks plus tip. Should have complained but we just wanted a nice day with no headaches. So I didn't bother. The place wasn't busy so I don't know how the cooks could have considered this a good product they were sending out.
