Probably one of the best fish tacos I've ever had and it was massive! Food was great and service was good. Time from seat to order was a couple minutes. Chips, salsa, and water came out quick. The carne asada fries here are super delicious! So creamy and cheesy! Service is quick, and they have a salsa bar with some really good salsas. They have daily specials which is a plus, because you get to try different things. Taco tuesdays the Al pastor are my fav but asada is also really good not all fatty full of hard stuff to chew. I do like the food here, the service is always great and friendly but it is definitely not open until Midnight. Not even open at 9pm, and they perhaps close even sooner than that. Hi there! Today I went to El Rey taco grill in Wildomar for lunch. It is located in a little strip mall just off the 15 freeway. Don't let the outside fool you, it is actually quite nice inside. Not exactly classy, but still nice. Updated decor. Definitely clean. With very good service. Nice, clean restrooms as well! The one off putting detail is they let a party of three young men bring their French Bulldog in the restaurant and sit under their table, eating food handed to him by the three guys. Not sure this is sanitary! Anyhow.... Since they had actual goat Birria, we both decided to have a Birria selection. So we had both the Birria burrito and the Birria street tacos. Photos attached. The Burria itself was quite tasty and the portions adequate for the price. I think the tacos are the better choice as they came with rice and beans. There were three salsa choices, so we tried all three. None were overly spicy and my favorite was the verde salsa. The only food drawback was the absence of brewed ice tea. They had a bottled option, but it was expensive and lacked free refills. Again, the service was excellent and our waitress checked on us often. So, good job there. In the end, the food was decent. Service excellent. But the dog in the restaurant and the lack of brewed ice tea are probably enough to have me not come back. Jim read more

This is a nice restaurant close to the fwy 15 south, very clean and the environment is familiar. Fabiola was attending us very friendly and fast. Average music sound, you can visit from 9 to 9 monday to Thursday, friday 9 to 10 pm, Saturday 8 to 9 pm, sunday 9 to 8 pm. All kinds of mexican food, very affordable prices, good portions, a lot of parking outside, the restroom was so clean, how's the restroom is saying a lot of the restaurant, definitely a great place to visit. This is my second time visiting. This place does not disappoint. The staff is friendly and welcoming. From the moment you enter you feel a positive vibe. The music is upbeat and matches the environment. As soon as I was seated, they brought me a basket of warm tortilla chips and fresh salsa. This time I ordereordered the Taco de Nopal con Carne Asada. The nopal was on top of a layer of beans and toppled with carne asada and queso fresco. The taco was filling and one did it for me. I ordered the horchata to drink which was also perfect. Ordered through DoorDash. We ordered 24oz of beans & rice, both disappointing. The beans taste like they may be from a can, they are tasteless. The rice is mushy, overcooked & also tasteless. On the other hand, both the carne asada and pastor tacos are delicious, they have an authentic grill flavor. The rice is amazing, I wish I had gotten the large I had asked for. The cabeza and Lengua were a tad too salty for me. The corn tortillas were falling apart and not really my cup of tea. Stopped by on a weekend at 11 and ordered a shrimp burrito with asada fries. Staff was very friendly and got our orders in quick. We were eating within the first 5-10 minutes, and the food was piping hot. This was even with it being a bit busy (but not crowded). The food was absolutely delicious! Best shrimp burritos I've had. The veggies inside were still crunchy while the shrimp was juicy (and there was a lot of it)! The asada fries were really flavorful and loaded. The portions were very generous and we ended up having a lot of fries to take home. The restaurant was clean and had lots of seating options. A great stop for quick and delicious food!
