I ordered the chicken parmesan with fettuccine noodles and red sauce. I have no idea what was in that dish, but no less than 20 minutes after eating I was in the bathroom I wish I could say it just once, but it continued for the rest of the evening. Excellent New York style pizza here! Cute & cozy little place. Square shape. Bathroom (a single) is to the left in the back. (Square part is the Kitchen- the middle/back.) We got a large cheese pizza and a large sausage pizza. Mmm. Same recipes from Carmine; hubby & his family have been customers since the very first one at Commercial Center. I've been a customer since the Maryland Parkway in the 1990's (Villa's). This is our favorite New York style cheese pizza. I was looking forward to it, it's a real treat for us. Food here is INCREDIBLE. What's not incredible is the service i just received. I ordered ahead, pepperoni pizza and a Pepsi. The person who took my order said to make sure i asked for it when i came in. I came in 1 hour after i placed my order (to my surprise the restaurant was not even busy when i came in). I go up to the counter to pay and mention the Pepsi, she gave me the pizza and then i waited for my drink. After a min or so she says "do you need anything else?". I said, just my drink. I was confused, maybe i needed to grab it myself? But the fountain was behind the counter. She then went to get the drink and said " i can't read minds". Very rude. I ordered it ahead of time. I swear i heard her confirm the "Pepsi" but perhaps she said "pepperoni"? I'm not sure. She goes to check the receipt and says "no you didn't order it, i guess it's on us". Mistakes and misunderstanding happen but the way you treat your customers says a lot. I typically go to the other location on Raiders Way but they were too busy tonight. After this experience i will never come back here! No wonder why this location was basically empty and the other was super busy. They always treat me and my family amazingly. Wow I honestly wish I had tried Carmine's sooner because now that I have I'm already thinking about ordering it again, maybe even today, those two large pizzas I just got were absolutely devoured, just flat out spectacular pizza. My camp is right next to Carmine's Pizza Kitchen and I decided that this place would be a great fit for our Friday night dinner. This is one of their few locations across the valley, this one being on Horizon Ridge and Carnegie. Do not confuse this Carmine's with another Italian restaurant of the same name that's inside The Forum Shops at Caesar's Palace. When looking them up, make sure you add Pizza Kitchen to your search. We placed an order online to pick up, where we ordered a large Margherita pizza and a thing of garlic knots. They told us afterwards that it would be ready in about 10-15 minutes, and with this place fairly close to my house, we chose to pick it up about 5 minutes after placing our order. Our order ended up being ready for pick up right when we got there. The Margherita Pizza, which is one of those real Italian pizzas out there, was big enough to have as leftovers for lunch over the next day or two. The garlic knots, while a little on the messy side, had so much flavor to them. I think these were some of the best garlic knots we've ever had from a pizza joint yet. Once we ate them, the garlic flavor just completely burst inside of our mouths. And yes, some of the garlic knots I also saved ended up being leftovers as well. Carmine's was well worth trying out. So disappointed. The chicken fingers are different now- they're processed and nasty and don't even taste like chicken! Chicken nuggets from McD's are better. My pizza was not good either. Why you would choose to drown ricotta in black pepper is beyond me, but it ruined the pizza completely. Done with this place. It used to be so much better when the real Carmine owned it. There are lots of places you can get pizza, but Carmine's is one of the better places! The restaurant is big enough to eat in. But take out is easy too! The staff is always friendly and the place is clean and comfortable. The pizza crust reminds me of places back on the east coast! The meatballs are very good and the tiramisu is amazing! Legit New York style pizza in the valley! We're from NY and while there's no place like home, the pizza from here is close enough. You walk into the establishment and you instantly feel a sense of familiarity. The place reminds me of your usual Italian family-owned pizza restaurants from the east coast. You walk up to the counter and a nice lady takes your order and the pizza is ready in 20 minutes. Service is good. The place is inviting. Recently decided to try this local pizza place. Ordered a slice with mushrooms and olives. When I opened the container to see the pizza I was shocked - it wasn't cooked ! It appeared as though handful of raw uncooked mushrooms and olives were just dumped onto the pizza bread, not cooked/ melted into the cheese whatsoever ! I showed it to the attending cashier and asked if this is normally how their pizza is served, "raw/uncooked toppings". She replied, yeah that's perfectly normal. We have been ordering from Carmines for years and have loved every order. Recently we were hosting a high school volleyball dinner and decided to order from Carmines catering menu. To say it was perfect is an understatement. From discussing how much we would need and ordering it with the most helpful staff... to picking up the order and them helping me to my car with all of the food- customer service was superb. The girls loved every bite of the pasta, chicken and salad and raved about how great it was. I really like this place it was super clean and the people that work there were super nice. Great services. I love the ranch from here and the wings are so delicious! Carmine's has good pizza. They only offer a limited number of sizes with the large being 18 inches, which is a little larger than what my wife and I want. Yes, we could buy a couple of their small sized pizzas, which turns out to be a little expensive. The crust is good. We would like a little more toppings, but what is presented is okay. There just isn't anything that makes you say "I can't wait to order another one of these!" That being said, as pizza-holics, we'll come back for more. read more

Great place that has that family atmosphere. Stopped here for some dinner and it did not disappoint. We had the Ravioli, Chicken Parmigiana sandwich, fries and the garlic knots. Everything tasted very fresh and delicious. Our server was Asia, she is amazing at her job. She was very cheerful, attentive and hard working. I had a major craving for some pasta and most of the "Italian pasta" places for delivery charge you an arm and a leg for come fettuccini alfredo. Add chicken? Expect to pay a kidney. I saw Carmine's Pizza Kitchen had a lot of pasta options for a much better price and I decided to give them a try. Really glad I did!!! The pasta portions are huge! This explains why the menu has a "personal" size option. We don't mind though because we love leftovers. I tried the Rigatoni a la Carmine and they rest of my party had fettuccini alfredo and spaghetti and meatballs with pink sauce. The special pasta was awesome. I used to love getting this style when I lived in the Bronx so it was lovely to try this version. The mushroom were a nice added ingredient. The spaghetti and meatballs were awesome! The pink sauce has a great flavor and the meatballs are juicy and meaty. The fettuccini alfredo was ok. There wasn't enough sauce but the chicken we added was a great compliment. We decided we were never ordering from "big box" pizza places again after a long line of incorrect orders and poor quality so I am pretty excited to try the pizzas and some of the other items at Carmines! read more

Horizon location. Plus side: Thin crust and stretchy cheese. Negative side: Not enough sauce, possibly because the slices were over heated. No flavor except for the crust which had the taste of a smoky or ashy oven. The amount of oil on two slices could have filled half a cup. read more

Stopped by to see a friend on Saturday and decided to order some pizza while there. My friend ordered (through Yelp) the Carmines Special, two orders of wings (Buffalo) and an order of meatballs. The food was delivered within an hour and was still hot and fresh. I grabbed a slice of pizza and a few wings to try, starting with the wings. They were cooked perfectly, weren't greasy, didn't have breading on them and had just the right amount of hot sauce on them. I enjoyed the wings very much! The pizza was amazing too, the flavors of the toppings and the cheese were delicious, plenty of toppings! The crust was the star of the show for me. There was this slight salt taste to it, had nice and crunch, not burnt on the bottom and at a perfect thickness. Hand tossed for the win! We go to the Carmines on Raiders Way. Always delicious food, my favorite is the eggplant Parmesan. Great pizzas and garlic knots. Amazing zeppelin for dessert to share. Service is prompt and very friendly. Fun to watch games while dining. They just opened a bar in the back and they have a great outdoor patio for dining when the weather permits. The only reason for a 3-star rating is the food falls short from Carmines pizza and our salad presentation. Water is another oversight. Last night our water was obviously not filtered. Man this pizza is so good, I come in here a few times after work for the 7.99 2 slices and a drink. Even with a big appetite the 2 giant slices are more than enough to fill me up.
