Awesome! I'm in town for an event and was craving some really good pizza that wasn't $12 a slice. I narrowed it down to 2 places and after reading all the reviews went with Pizza Heroes. Boy did I make the right choice I went in and was greeted by 2 kids playing monopoly. The lady that greeted me was the owner. Super friendly. I ordered a pepperoni pizza and garlic knots (homemade ranch dressing for dipping). It took about 10 minutes and I was ready to eat. The pizza was outstanding. The crust was fresh and tasty. The sauce was great, and I could actually taste it because the crust wasn't filled with salt and other nonsense. The garlic knots were really good. The homemade ranch was outstanding. If I lived in Nevada I would probably be here all the time. I now have a new place to eat when in the Henderson area. read more

I usually go to another spot, but they were closing in 30 minutes, and I don't like pushing it to the last second for employees. Pizza Heroes was open an extra hour, so I'm gonna give them a try. I've ordered a 16" pepperoni and 5 fingers with buffalo hot sauce and ranch on the side. They have the cup and crisp pepperoni here. The lady who answered the phone was super nice. She said it would be about 30 minutes. 1/30/26 9:52pm I'm about 8 minutes from heading to the store now, and if you can't tell, I'm trying to kill time by writing this review because I'm so hungry after reading the others. Love that. I'm assuming it was the daughter that was sitting at the front tables with her artwork. She also said hi as I walked in, and there were Italian music videos on the tv. The mom/wife came out, greeted me, and let me know it would be another 5 minutes. I figured this would be the case since I jumped the gun and headed over early. When I was paying, I asked for another ranch. They are 3oz, and I use a lot. The wife told me that she makes the ranch a few times a week from scratch, and it is only three ingredients. I believe their pizza dough is only three ingredients as well. There were handwritten notes on the pie box as well as the chicken tender bag. Not necessary, but a nice touch, and only something you would get from a family owned small business. On my way home, I couldn't help myself, and knocked out two of the tenders in the car. The hot sauce and ranch are great, but I wanted to try the ranch by itself as well, since she said she made it by hand. I'm not great at explaining flavors, but this was terrific. 1/31/26 4:00pm Now that I've eaten the food, I still stand by my 5 stars. I'm used to a New York slice, and although this is not New York style, it is absolutely amazing. I threw the whole box in the oven at 170° while I was eating last night. This kept the pizza absolutely perfect as I grabbed slice after slice. Around 11 o'clock this morning I was in the parking lot by Pizza Heroes. It was so good last night that I wanted to get it again for lunch today, but they were closed. They don't open until 3:30 on the weekends. Needless to say, I'm waiting on a friend to come over to my house right now and we are gonna head over to Pizza Heroes again. read more

It's a small, cozy spot where you're often greeted by the owners themselves. It feels like you're sitting in someone's home kitchen rather than a restaurant. They even have free arcade games like Pac-Man to keep you busy while your food is being prepped. It might take a few minutes longer than a big chain, but that's because they're actually making your food, not just reheating it. It is 100% worth the wait. Bottom line: Fresh ingredients, amazing family service, and easily some of the best pizza in the Vegas area. Support this local gem! The signs,notices and scribbles in the store are a masterpiece. Probably the best pizza I've had in Vegas! You can taste the difference. I love that it's made with clean ingredients such as flour from family farms, sauce without sugar, and dough without oil. The journey to try every pizza place imaginable in Vegas and Henderson continued tonight with Pizza Heroes. They had always been on my radar, but I had kind of passed up for others places but I finally made it in. The family comes from Italy, so right there that's a great sign. Since the family at Emilio's all packed up and went back to Italy, I've been looking for another close legit pizza spot and hopefully I have found it here. I came in and it was just the mom behind the counter and the daughter at one of the tables drawing or playing some kind of game. The mom told me that they opened during Covid but by the looks of their scores at the time of this review 4 1/2 out of five stars with well over 100 reviews looks like things are going good and they could be getting better. Very small place inside two tables and a small bar so more than likely if you come here you'll probably take your order to go. Home order wings. Through the wings, a little differently and they're actually very good. I would definitely come back for the pizza. And the great family customer service vibe. read more

WOW! As a pizza snob, I am extremely picky about the pizza I consume. I recently relocated to Henderson 10 months ago and in my neighborhood I found Pizza Heroes. I was here only a month or so when I discovered them in the neighborhood. I decided to give it a try and I can only say one thing... WOW! Real pizza!!! Veronica greeted me on my first visit and she is extremely friendly and polite, a quality that you don't find too often anymore. I found out she is from Italy and I am learning the language so that is a PLUS!!! I had to try the white pizza, as it is a favorite of mine. IT DID NOT DISAPPOINT, in fact, it was delicious. As a small business owner myself, I like to always support the small business owners. Tonight I had a craving for pizza and so I headed to Pizza Heroes for my 3rd or 4th time, I can't eat it everyday but I would if I could...LOL I met Gabrielle tonight, Veronica's husband and once again a fantastic person. I love pizza. I have eaten pizza from countless pizza parlors. After ordering a pizza for pickup using the 'Slice' app, I will say this: Pizza Heroes is THE BEST I have ever eaten. The pizza was cooked perfectly, every ingredient was placed with precision to make not simply a pizza, but ART. Every item was fresh and prime, perfectly ripened and full of flavor. In addition, the sauce and the crust have no added sugar or salt, which is great as I have diabetes. The service was over the top good. The 'mom' from this mom and pop shop prepared and cooked my pie. As for the ambiance there are a few tables and video games available in the seating area, with very interesting things to read on the wall concerning their origin story and their ingredients. When I bit into my pie (extra cheese, pepperoni, sausage, ham, bacon, black olives, white mushrooms) there was an explosion of flavor in my mouth. Other lesser pizzas have ingredients that mush together and create a generic 'pizza' flavor in your mouth. With this pie, every ingredient's flavor and texture stood out distinctly, and the crust had the perfect combination of rigidity (to support my topping heavy slice) and crispness from the oven, while retaining just the right amount of chew. You owe it to yourself to get a pizza from this non-chain, mom and pop (literally) establishment, and they absolutely deserve your business. read more

Heard by word of mouth of this pizza spot. Decided to give it a try since my daughter wanted pizza so we made the journey to check it out. Ordered half a macdaddy and half a white large pizza. I'm not a huge pizza person personally as I'm a straight carnivore, BUT wow I liked this pizza a lot. The dough / crust was thin and light. I managed to eat 3/4 of it by myself and my daughter who doesn't eat (skinny 10 year old) much ate 1/4. We both didn't feel bloated at all. Pizza had amazing texture, great flavor, not greasy. The quality and care put into the food shows. This is a real high quality pizza and the price reflects this but is definitely worth it. 20AUG2022 visit. How in the world did I miss this gem!? My wife and children were in the mood for pizza. When looking at a business, I look for something local and authentic. While I have looked at and visited many pizza locations in the Green Valley area over the past year, I still had not made my way to this one. I'm glad that we did though! Feeding my three picky children is always a chore, but once they find a place they enjoy it is a place that we frequent more often and this is one that has earned that trust. We walked in and were pleasantly greeted by the man working at the counter. My children instead of taking their seats instantly went to the two arcades as that's what caught their attention. Once the man finished talking the order ahead of me, he gave me his attention and took my order. We went with a medium cheese pizza and a medium meat lovers. After about a fifteen - twenty minute wait our pizza arrived. One of the things in the environment that leads to the authenticity of this business is the background conversation in the Italian language and the teamwork between the family members. What a treat! The pizza was nice, hot, and crispy! The cheese was very melty, the sauce was perfect, and the meat was proportional to the pizza. We took our first bites and our taste buds were immediately satisfied, yet we wanted more. We can't wait to go back and try some of their other menu items. I'm eyeballing the calzone for my next visit. They have drinks on display which are bottled water and canned soda. There are signs displayed on the walls regarding their food sources and what they don't use in their dough. When we left the family thanked us for the visit. My new favorite Pizza Place when i'm visiting family in Vegas. I ended up building a few different pizzas out, kept it simple, few toppings on each. Option to do White Sauce and Option to do Red Sauce as bases for the pies. Came out excellent. Only suggestion to the wonderful owner who seemed to be working alone the night I dropped in to pick up my pies - think about throwing on a few more topping options such as fresh basil, fresh and roasted garlic.
