This is a casual place with friendly, efficient service. The food was wonderful! My Green Chile and Jack Burger was cooked correctly to order (medium rare). It was very juicy. I visited Carmen's a few weeks ago at their new location over by the airport. Carmen's is my go to when I'm in the mood for a burger. The quality never disappoints and she only slightly raised her prices in the new location which also has a Mexican Restaurant on the same premises. Not as convenient as the old location on Mark West Springs, but worth the few extra miles for outdoor seating, easier parking, etc. read more

We ordered several Burgers, Our Server diligently asked how each burger should be cooked. We all wanted "Medium". After waiting for our food for way too long, (35 minutes - with only 3 other tables occupied), and several complaints at the table, our food finally arrived. Severely burnt tasteless Hockey Pucks... Obviously not cool, but we were in a hurry and really had no choice but to eat the horrible over-cooked husks (Most of us only took a bite or two and couldn't eat the rest, it was really bad). We love Carmen's!!! My whole family !!! My parent come to Carmens on a weekly basis at least. Me and my husband come maybe once a month. The food is always delicious and consistent and the service is always great and they're always very accommodating. I know my parents really liked the appetizers of the fried green beans so every time for a while they went , they would get the fried green beans as an appetizer before their entrée but the green beans are so good they would eat them all and get full. Well eventually Carmen let them use the fried green beans on their entrée instead of the french fries. I think that is really cool that she is super accommodating to them! I always have a hard time deciding what burger to get because they are literally all delicious and amazing. And maybe someday I would like to try the little Mexican food section that they have but their burgers are so good that it's hard to pick something else! This is just our go to place for really good delicious burgers and great service!!my only complain is that it's too small and they need more seating because they are always full and busy ;) but that's a good complaint to have! read more

I just love this little place. I've had the same lady help me every time I go there. I'm starting to think she is Carmen. I love the food and drinks here. My mom lives across the street so Carmen's is our go to for drinks or a quick meal. They have a great adult grilled cheese. They are also very close to the Luther Burbank center so I go to Carmen's before and or after going to events at the LBC. I always get great service here. We were craving for burger and that place served that just fine - we were a party of 4 and tried the chili burger , the impossible burger the avocado burger and he bacon burger . They were all descent size (probably 150-180 gram patty ) fairly coarse grain (which I personally prefer ) and had a bit of a tummy Smokey taste to them . the accompanying French fries felt pretty fresh and yummy - we asked for sweet potato fries which were also good . I love the wings with the red sauce. I took my son there and he also loved them. He then wanted to go back and try a Turkey burger, he did not like it. He said it taste like a frozen patty was placed on a grill and defrosted. We went back 2 weeks after with my boyfriend and he also go the Turkey burger as he doesn't eat red meat.
