I ordered the Matchaga - described as a matcha + functional mushroom drink blended with chaga, reishi, and lion's mane mushrooms, vanilla, monk fruit, and a dash of strawberry. I got mine with oat milk, which they don't charge extra for. I liked this location with its natural lighting and indoor/outdoor seating arrangement. You can park in the back as well with a door that leads to the parking lot. The matchaga (12 oz $7.50) had just the right amount of sweetness with NO SUGAR. Since I'm trying to cut out sugar these days, this was a welcome change. The matcha wasn't too bitter and there was just the hint of mushroom, in fact I could barely taste it. When it is busy, you may have to wait awhile, although my daughter got her iced strawberry matcha latte right away. Would totally return!

Metered parking around the area or free parking deeper in the residential area. Pretty big cafe, they have a decent amount of seating. Great spot to meet up with someone. Alfred has lots of options, both espresso and matcha, standard and specialty ones too like lavender or strawberry. I usually love their vanilla bean latte but this time I went with an iced matcha. I also love that they have a dairy-free cloud/cream top so folks who are dairy-free or vegan can enjoy it too. I went without it this time to cut down on cost but am excited to try it in the future! I'm also really excited to try their peaches n cream matcha too, it sounds so good!

I turned into the small street nearby but all the street parking was full and there was a gated parking lot right behind the building with the gate to enter open but the gate to exit closed so I didn't want to have another bad experience and avoided it altogether. Swung around the front and got lucky with metered parking. Their entrance is on the side despite all the signs and windows up front. Walked into an empty shop, 1 worker guy greeted us and took our order. This place had a lot of seating but felt more like a dessert place and based on my drink, it was absolutely that. I got the Creme Brulee latte and it was torched at the top like you'd expect so that was cool. Gorgeous decoration which is great for photo ops. Once the guy gave me my drink, he basically disappeared to the back. I took my photos and left. It was good but tasted like melted coffee ice cream. The sweetness was over the top and the more I drank it, the more I was getting a crazy sugar rush and it did not mix well with the heat that day. Couldn't even finish it but if you are a child or someone who enjoys super sweet things, then this is for you. Sadly it isn't for me! IG: @ammysalamii

Plus the branding is cool. Anyway, onto the food and drinks. I ordered an iced matcha and the Marigold sandwich. The matcha was perfect honestly because they gave the option of sweetened or unsweetened. Also, the sandwich was delicious. I was so excited to see something with turkey bacon by default and not regular bacon since I can't have pork. The spread they use on there is really yummy. The menu has a lot of interesting flavors on it. There are some Korean-inspired dishes that I definitely want to try like the Kimchi breakfast tacos. Can't wait to go back! Note: 1. Plenty of seating inside and outside under a tent of sorts. 2. Plus they have a speaker outside so you can hear when your order is called. 3. There's a small parking lot but also a residential area next to it where there's street parking.

I'd come back, especially for the burritos and that vanilla latte!

Ms. Grissel recommended that I try the Raspberry Almond Croissant, and I was pleasantly surprised by her suggestion. It was freshly taken out, took her suggestion.
