This venue is located in a mini mall. There is a good amount of free parking. The venue itself is small, no tables for dining, only order out. It resembles a "mom & pop". For such a small space, they used it wisely. Hot tea selections and condiments were placed around the perimeter giving it a slight cafe look. The people inside were inviting. They know their regulars by name. These few things increased my opinion to 4 stars. Now for the food. I ordered a 12 oz fresh squeezed OJ and a egg, American cheese (they have a selection of cheeses) on a toasted Everything Bagel. The OJ was not bad. It was a little tart. I was hoping for sweeter (like I was biting into an orange) but was still fine. The egg tasted a little weird (maybe premixed eggs) not sure how the egg was made. Mehh, like I said, it wasn't too bad. The cheese wasn't melted. The bagel was good, a little over toased and not "meaty & thick" like my NYC bagels (just sayin', LOL). It had the Everything bagel taste. Overall, it was decent. The sandwich was tasty but not close your eyes and say yummy. As customary I ask myself, "Would I return?" This is a hidden gem the bagels really delicious. They have a lot of different cream cheese flavors, soft and crunchy homemade cream cheese. It is difficult to explain the experience; bagels are 80% texture. And Abraham Bagel wasn't just better than Western Bagel. It was a unique, interesting texture that I'd never experienced in a bagel before. A little bit harder than the Western, but also in this zone of perfection. They also offer a variety of schmear like chives, regular, lox and berry. The bagels are toasted to perfection - no need to ask for a double toast like elsewhere. Good prices. Bagels are cut in half by default. I'm not too sure about their drinks, but they do sell coffee and tea. They have a bunch of syrup and add-one available for grabs, too. They sell stuff in bulk for catering and takeout orders. I must try the Bialy bagel sometime - and I recently discovered there's a pancake version of it! I'm told it's best with cream cheese in the middle. Abraham shares a lot with a COVID testing place, a threading place, a pizza shop and a convenience store. I ordered turkey bacon, avocado, and lite cream cheese on my bagel. My bf ordered Jalapeño cream cheese. We repeated the order back a few times and I double checked the cream cheese. I was in LA for only a day, didn't want to drive to Fairfax or Pico, but was disappointed in Valley choices Western Bagel and Einstein's (which they say used to be a Manhattan Bagel). I just got home after stopping at your shop and I have never been more disappointed in a bagel shop. I decided to give your shop a try because I read good reviews on Yelp but my opinion is that you get 1-star.
