Staff was very friendly but bagels were highly disappointing. Tiny and thin. Their lox spread was so over-mixed you couldn't tell there was lox in it. For $6 I felt ripped off by size and quality.

    Super thin egg bagel

The bagels have gotten very thin in the last few years. The first time I saw them look like that I thought they made a mistake with the dough, but they have stayed looking like that for a few years now. The prices are too much for the quality too. They want $18 for a bagel with lox, no one charges that much except for one place I know that makes their own lox and has way better bagels. It's just sad. And there's one guy who works there who's really cocky and has an attitude. They should try to do better, but there are no other bagel places in the neighborhood so I guess they don't have to. I'm definitely not going here anymore.

Tried Chicken Salad with Jalapenos Cheddar Bagel The bagel was delicious, however seems expensive for the price! The service was just average, could have been better

Bless this place for being open from 7am to 12pm on Christmas Day! Oodles of bagel types to choose from, including everything, egg, onion, sesame, poppy, and pumpernickel. They also offer a variety of schmear like chives, regular, lox and berry. The bagels are toasted to perfection - no need to ask for a double toast like elsewhere. Good prices. Bagels are cut in half by default. I'm not too sure about their drinks, but they do sell coffee and tea. They have a bunch of syrup and add-one available for grabs, too. They sell stuff in bulk for catering and takeout orders. I must try the Bialy bagel sometime - and I recently discovered there's a pancake version of it! I'm told it's best with cream cheese in the middle. Abraham shares a lot with a COVID testing place, a threading place, a pizza shop and a convenience store. Ample parking, but spacing can be kind of tight during peak times. CPK and CVS are across the street.

Bialy with chive cream cheese! So good!

The bagels are amazing, but bialys are one of my favorite baked treats, and Abraham Bagel Cafe sure makes a great bialy too! The fast and friendly service makes you feel like you are going to an old friend's house for a yummy meal. You know that friend that always hooks it up :) If you can eat there the tables and chairs outside make for a lovely date! I will be back!

Plus the branding is cool. Anyway, onto the food and drinks. I ordered an iced matcha and the Marigold sandwich. The matcha was perfect honestly because they gave the option of sweetened or unsweetened. Also, the sandwich was delicious. I was so excited to see something with turkey bacon by default and not regular bacon since I can't have pork. The spread they use on there is really yummy. The menu has a lot of interesting flavors on it. There are some Korean-inspired dishes that I definitely want to try like the Kimchi breakfast tacos. Can't wait to go back! Note: 1. Plenty of seating inside and outside under a tent of sorts. 2. Plus they have a speaker outside so you can hear when your order is called. 3. There's a small parking lot but also a residential area next to it where there's street parking.

That said, the Madagascar vanilla latte was really good - smooth, slightly sweet, and definitely something I'd order again. The burritos were a highlight!! super big portions and satisfying. Prices were also very reasonable for the quality and size, which is always a plus. Staff was nice and welcoming, which made the visit even better. I'd come back, especially for the burritos and that vanilla latte!

This place is way more than just a donut shop..and I love it! The donuts are fresh with a great variety and reasonable prices, but what really keeps me coming back is the vibe. It's conveniently located off Balboa and Victory, has a decent-sized parking lot, and is perfect for quick stops or snack emergencies. And then there's Judy...the absolute sweetheart who runs the place. She's funny, warm, and you can tell her soul is fully invested in this cozy Lake Balboa donut kingdom. You don't just get donuts here -- you get jokes, good energy, and that "neighborhood spot" feeling. Come for the donut. Leave with snacks, a smile, and probably more than you planned to buy. Highly recommend!

Each time I've visited, the environment has felt uneasy. I understand they deal with a lot of teenagers, but that shouldn't excuse poor customer service. During my last visit, I watched the cashier answer a ringing phone in the middle of helping an elderly customer, talking over him and seeming irritated when he waited for her to finish. It was uncomfortable to see, and it prompted me to leave this review. Good variety doesn't make up for bad service. I wouldn't recommend this place if you're expecting to feel welcomed.

Most of the items included a substantial "farmer's market premium", so it doesn't seem to be the sort of farmer's market where you're getting a bulk product for a better price by cutting out the middlemen. We paid $10 for a small container of honey, and another $10 for a few oranges. Then $16 for tacos, and $1 for bagels. Saw some poke for ~$34/lb which is also rather steep. There were also two stalls with food--fish tacos and also another stand with tamales.

They have a section for that. Everything looked amazing and the colors of fresh fruits and veggies were great. There was only one vendor that sell fresh flowers. It's still busy as it alway has been.
