    They are BIG at pushing a forever warranty that is useless once a purchase made things look good on…read morepaper but try and use it good luck the warranty company will blame Vandivier and then they will claim you didn't call to report you had it serviced we explained me did they basically said prove it. Doesn't matter if the car has been serviced, they want you to pull up phone records proving you made a phone call.

My wife and I purchased a used electric car in early February and traded in our existing car. Prior to purchasing the used car, we took it to a mechanic who identified several minor issues, but nothing major so we proceeded with the purchase. After we signed the paperwork, we were informed that the battery needed to be charged so VanDevere took the car to a fast charger. Once the car was charged, we took possession and left the lot. Immediately upon leaving the lot, a warning light appeared on the dash. Once we arrived home, we discovered that there was a huge gouge in one of the car's tires, a gouge that had not been there when we took the car to the mechanic. We subsequently replaced the tire. I believe the VanDevere employee who took the car to the charger struck something and damaged the tire but did not inform us. Separately, when we traded in our old car, VanDevere did not give us both license plates. They gave us only the front license plate and kept the rear plate (containing the vehicle registration sticker). Two months later, we received a bill from the Ohio Turnpike. Someone had driven our old car which still had our old license plate on it through an ez pass lane. We have been fighting this toll but this never would have happened if VanDevere did not keep our license plate and instead had returned it to us as they are required to do. Based on this sequence of events, I recommend everyone avoid VanDevere. They are not trustworthy.

I understand lemon law when ya buy as is but it also states if things were not disclosed it still applies. The shop it was taken to showed me where the flex pipe was cut to repair the transfer casing then they obviously decided not to. They didn't even have the decency to respond back and make an effort to give me an excuse which to me is more insulting then selling me something you knew had issues without disclosing them. If you purchase here take it to a mechanic for a pre-purchase inspection don't trust anything they tell you. They don't care shit about their customers literally just out to make a dollar. Filing with better business bureau as well as consulting an attorney

He did a visual inspection and test drive it and it seemed fine. It was getting dark and close to closing time so he didn't inspect underneath. Later that same night it came to his attention that the frame was rusted and rotted away in multiple locations. The frame rail was cracked in half. The shocks were just hanging because the mounts were completely gone. the wheel wells were rotted away. Went back to the dealership the next day and Alex the owner acknowledged the damage and claimed to have a "guy" who could fix the frame and he even offered to pay for repairs. He handed my boyfriend his business card with the contact information of the repair guy. Later that day he tried calling this repair guy and left messages and never got a response. Sent Alex a text the next day and he ignored his message also. Currently we are starting the legal process to try and get our $5000 back. It's a shame this place is still in business. They have been ripping people off for years. Just don't. No matter how desperate you are. Don't. You've been warned. Oh and let's not forget the 15 or so times they have been sued in court since 2019!

    Yukon  I want to preface this by saying that this is my…read morefirst negative review online for a business.  We took our brand new 2025 Yukon here for its first service.  About a month later I noticed an upward bulge in the hood -it obviously had to be from something left on top of the motor and then shutting the hood creating a dent from the inside.  The hood has not been opened since we purchased it new.  Toth GMC did our first service and were the only ones to open the hood since we purchased the vehicle brand new.  We called the dealership to ask if they had video and could review to see if someone accidently had shut something in the hood.  I talked with the manager Samantha and she informed me that they did not follow protocol by taking pictures of the vehicle before servicing it.  I asked multiple times if they could review videos and Samantha never would answer that question, instead always changing the subject.   She asked me to send pictures and told me she would check with her body shop and what the manager of the body shop said.   After about two weeks she called me back and told me that they do not use tools while servicing vehicles therefore there was no way they could have done this.   I would love to know how you can change the oil without tools, not to mention that they could have left an old filter, phone, cup, flashlight, etc. and shut the hood causing this dent.  I again asked Samantha if they could check the videos and she changed the subject telling me I have no proof that they did this.  I can not speak for their sales department, but I would not risk taking your vehicle for service here, given the way that they treated us with this matter, and not following their own protocols.  I would love to speak with someone higher up than Samantha to try and find a solution and the truth about this incident.

He pulled up both Buick and GMC's for us to test drive. He was so personable and not pushy! It took us 3 days to decide, but when we finally decided on the GMC Acadia AT4, Keith made sure we got a fair price on our trade and had service get the new car ready for us. He made the experience enjoyable. We love our new car and hope Keith will be there in a few years when it's time for another car buying adventure.
