Mongo beans and pork adobo combo
    Jomar G.

The food was mediocre at best . I found the adobo to be under seasoned no flavor at all. The pancit was very yellow in color he probably uses chicken base thus the yellow color. Mongo beans also under seasoned. Not the worst fillipino food just very average. My biggest concern is the food temperature, not hot at all like it was just sitting on a table with no sterno or heat to keep everything above 145 degrees. I just put my plate in the microwave to get everything hot . Nice guy tho very personable. I know a little bit about food .

    3 choices = sleep lol

Been driving by this lunch wagon for some time now. I was actually heading over to Kamakana Alii to checkout the food court when I decided to finally stop over and try it out. So Glad I did, got my moneys worth and some lol. It's mostly Filipino food and some local dishes. I went with the three choices. Fried chicken/Pork adobo/Chocolate meat. The portions are huge, I couldn't close my plate. Chicken was fried nicely, crispy & golden brown. Pork was tender and good flavor. The owner was a man of few words cus his food did all the talking lol definitely coming back

Side order fried chicken $7 Mixed plate pinakbet & pork guisantes

Best prices for awesome food in ewa beach !! Uncle Carl is the best !! You won't regret big portion and great tasting

Regular combo: all pancit and rice (no mac salad) with chicken afritada and pork adobo.

They just started opening up for lunch time about a month ago - something they haven't done before, and people have been attending! Sheva (Seven) - was my bartender today - very friendly super engaging and always quick to entertain with fun trivia facts! Beer prices are fairly priced, see the pics I posted to see everything. No price gauging on wine AT ALL!! (Other places charge $15 for a chardonnay, and vary the prices of the wine depending on the type; now granted if they going higher end and longer age in a barrel I can understand - but for a bottle cali wine you can get @ Target for the same brand at $15 - ya know there are some mark ups!) Anyhoooo.... Let's talk the food: belly so happy taking leftovers home! Alright so Step 1: Choice of protein: fish, beef, chicken, tofu, vegetables. I asked for half chicken & half vegetable combo (they were EXTREMELY accomodating on that request)!!!!! Step 2: Pick yer sauce! They have 5 main sauces, pic enclosed. I went with the Spicy Teri Garlic! (trust me foodies it fiiiiiire! Step 3/Final Step: Choose da sides (again on the menu pic) I went for the combo - salad, rice, and potato/mac salad! Now for specialty drinks: Their Bloody Harry (a unique Bloody Mary) is completely worth it! Uses a unique homemade infused vodka that hands down you will NOT find anywhere else on island! Glass is rimmed with salt AND peppercorns, again another unique feature to this beverage! There is also a new beverage called Wonka Lada, which looks very much like something you'd see out of Willy Wonka's factory and/or if you really geeking out making comparisons to Monster's Inc! And others have compared it to something out of Warcraft, I can't say anyone is wrong! Smoothy style especially for those needing a nice cold fix! Li ing mui on the rim. Gives all the piña colada vibes with a strong hit of ube! This is one of those that hits you afterward!!!! Great vibe there are tables all around and even a small hot tub/pool area to give more to the atmosphere look! So don't complain if plastic cups are used because hotel has a no glass policy around the pool. This establishment has been here since last November. And don't think yer gonna get bored sitting here! Bar top is really solid hard wood!! There are all sorts of decor that each time you come here it almost a game of find this item! Tribal masks from Africa, Traditional tiki faces, bonsai trees, Hula instruments, saddles, tapa style roofing, beware the lobsters running amuck! Hmmm maybe a promotion needs to be done where what item is new hiding amongst all the decor for a special prize or something? And yes for you folks who are die hard sports fans - there are 2 televisions - everything comes from streaming services - so treat them nicely with yer tips and maybe they can get more power to more of what u wanna see! (hint hint hint) Overall this place is a huuuge 100/10! So bring tyler gang here! Oh in case u asked the bar is inside the Bamboo resort (fun fact this building been here for 100 years!)! And don't worry super close to the bus lines so for those who need an extra lift yer covered! (unless you ubered or lyfted or drove, rode yer own bike/scooter/skateboard or did yer own two feet here! Yes your mouths and eyes are watering to get over here! So easy way to know yer in the right spot is to see the vintage Yellow Woody sitting out front! Just please don't climb in it for photo ops - that would really make everyone sad. Yes Yelpers I "will be back"! Enjoy and help support these local folks running the place!

With the recent flood happening at the end of March, and our trip being in early April, going to North Shore wasn't advised. While we have some great Hawaiian garlic shrimp spots in Arizona, we had to at least try to get some garlic shrimp while on Oahu. We gave this place a try just because we were already in the building. It wasn't a choice we made prior because honestly, I would have suggested trying a more well-known spot like two miles away, haha! We shared a $14 Shrimp with Original Garlic sauce on it and made it a combo with rice, a scoop of potato mac salad, and regular salad, $14 + $6. Sam's Kitchen was okay. I would have loved to have the shell-on but this place does not offer shell-on shrimp. Still, they make a decent garlic shrimp.

When I was strolling through the KCC Farmers'Market, I spotted the word "elote". I haven't had it in many years, so, I went for a closer look! Service is very friendly and helpful. I was given a package with handles for my purchase from another vendor because I was juggling the handleless bag! How observant! I wanted the Furikake elote... Then, the Hurricane popcorn elote sounded good... I finally decided on the Avocado and Bacon elote - in a cup, please! The corn on the cob is kinda messy and the toppings would fall off! Elote in a cup has some butter and cheese, so, take those lactaid pills if you need them! Overall, one of the better vendors at the KCC Farmers' Market. There's free parking! The difference is in the spices used in Aloha Elote's corn seasoning mix, as well as the fact that they use sweet Kahuku corn. Thank you to Aloha Elote for a corn-tastic day!

During the holidays, you have to call days in advance because they run out of pancit!! Couple weeks ago, on a Saturday evening, I called to order a plate of pancit and pork guisantes, 5:30 pm, but they were sold out. That's how beloved Juliez is to the Kapolei community. And the nice thing, they open up early for breakfast, at 7 am. When we have family coming in first thing in the morning, we having breakfast at Juliez not the other local restaurant by the police station. What's not to love? One of our other favorites is shrimp sarciado. It's like a shrimp omelette with whole shrimp, head and shell on, tomatoes, onions, garlic and eggs. Without the shrimp shell on, this dish would not be the same as all the juices sit in the shell. Yup, I've seen locals and tourists visit Juliez for breakfast and order the pancakes. It's nice to see when the tourists try something different and go into beast mode. As far as the interior, not fancy at all but that's ok. Individuals and families enjoy having a meal here. Dishes can be ordered family style or plate lunch style with two or three choice. And everything is reasonably priced. Staff there, although they may not know our names but they know our faces. All are very pleasant. Two things that I wish they had on the menu, tortang talong (eggplant omelette) and a family pack. However, the eggplant omelette maybe an off menu item like the arroz caldo (chicken porridge). I'll ask next time I'm there.

And after the smoke settled I have to say these Pancakes are the real deal. By the looks of it you can say they look like any other Pancakes but after one bite it was truly magical. The Pancakes were super light and fluffy and couldn't stop eating it. I'm glad it came out before my Lechilog so I could dig into it right away. Pro tip, don't let these Pancakes just sit idle on your plate it has to be eaten right away just like eating a Malasada. The only other Pancake that I had that was better than this was at the Four Season's in Wailea Maui. To be frankly honest even if you're not a big fan of Filipino Food I would just come here for the Pancakes As for the Lechilog it was ok.
