Mongo beans and pork adobo combo
    Jomar G.

The food was mediocre at best . I found the adobo to be under seasoned no flavor at all. The pancit was very yellow in color he probably uses chicken base thus the yellow color. Mongo beans also under seasoned. Not the worst fillipino food just very average. My biggest concern is the food temperature, not hot at all like it was just sitting on a table with no sterno or heat to keep everything above 145 degrees. I just put my plate in the microwave to get everything hot . Nice guy tho very personable. I know a little bit about food .

    3 choices = sleep lol

Been driving by this lunch wagon for some time now. I was actually heading over to Kamakana Alii to checkout the food court when I decided to finally stop over and try it out. So Glad I did, got my moneys worth and some lol. It's mostly Filipino food and some local dishes. I went with the three choices. Fried chicken/Pork adobo/Chocolate meat. The portions are huge, I couldn't close my plate. Chicken was fried nicely, crispy & golden brown. Pork was tender and good flavor. The owner was a man of few words cus his food did all the talking lol definitely coming back

Side order fried chicken $7 Mixed plate pinakbet & pork guisantes

Best prices for awesome food in ewa beach !! Uncle Carl is the best !! You won't regret big portion and great tasting

Regular combo: all pancit and rice (no mac salad) with chicken afritada and pork adobo.

The vibes are good with live music but the music is LOUD so be prepared you have to talk pretty loud to hear the people at your table. The gluten free menu is available but it is limited. The server was fantastic about answering questions and honestly she was the best part of the meal. I ordered the edamame and shrimp fried rice my mom ordered the Caesar salad. The portions are LARGE plenty for 3-4 people to split let alone two. Caesar salad was standard and good from what my mom told me. Edamame- I probably would not order this again. It was fine, but I didn't love the seasoning blend on it personally there are other things I would be interested in trying. Shrimp fried rice- I was really excited to try this and I was really hoping that it would be excellent and it was OK. The shrimp was cooked well and the fried rice just felt like it needed some more butter and it was lacking some of the things that make fried rice, fried rice like a fried egg so overall not my favorite dish. The gluten-free menu was pretty limited on options for me to try so I would probably go to somewhere else to try and get fried rice in the future.

Great value and plenty of food. Stopped in for lunch and the service and ambiance were great. We live in town and have come here several times for happy hour and to meet clients. We specifically came out to support our friend who was the musical talent providing the live entertainment from 5:00 to 8:00 PM. Our reservation was at 5:30 PM, and the vibe was so good that we stayed all the way until 9:00 PM. Because we arrived during the last 30 minutes of happy hour, we immediately ordered a major spread of pupus from the Pau Hana menu. We shared the lechon style brussel sprouts, hand-cut fries, steamed shrimp & pork won tons, scallion bread, and fish tacos. Every single bite was delicious. I paired the food with a Hana Koa Roof Top Pale Ale from their local drafts list, which was crisp and excellent. After happy hour wrapped up, I moved on to the dinner menu and ordered the Half Pound House Burger and fries for my entree. The burger was perfectly cooked and incredibly flavorful. Overall, the food and ambiance were absolutely outstanding, and the service was prompt, attentive, and friendly from start to finish. The noise level was perfectly moderate, letting us enjoy both the live music and our own conversation. We had a great time and will absolutely be back!

The service was excellent and the food was good. Definitely a step above typical pub fair That said, I found it to be a bit excessive. The guests are charged for parking while actively patronizing the restaurants and businesses on site even more frustrating. If you don't properly scan and register your parking you will receive a $49 to start out with a ticket as my son unfortunately, learned the hard way. you think if you patronize an establishment they would validate your parking so you don't have to pay. As for the dining experience, monkeypod promotes a local farm to table concept, and the quality of the ingredients seem to support that the food was enjoyable and the Service was outstanding just be prepared for the price tag. Our Bill for seven people was around 500 so while it was good a good meal it certainly wasn't inexpensive. Overall, I recommend the monkey pod for atmosphere service and quality food. Just go in knowing that both parking and dining come in a premium.

I'd rate Negative stars if possible…read more This was unfortunately an extremely poor experience. We were quoted a 1 hour wait then kept getting pushed to a later time with a lot of empty promises of our table about to be ready. We had kids in our party who were starving and had they told us the wait would be the actual 2 hours that it took to seat us we would have went someplace else. I've worked many years in the industry, what was unforgivable was the fact the manager that night decided to argue with us about expressing our frustrations vs taking accountability for what happened. He mentioned there were a few big parties ahead of us, which we found out later that they didn't show. Looking around the restaurant there were a lot of empty tables in open sections that sat with dirty dishes and cups. The table that we ended up sitting on was let dirty for over 20 minutes as it was one I passed a few times taking my kids to the bathroom. There was no urgency from anyone other than our server which came off as he was ready to go home. I assumed he was sat out of the manager panicking so we do not blame our server for seeming tired yet still attentive when near by. The lack of accountability and urgency from the hosts and manager will now be what I tell friends and family members about for this location, and my self and the rest of my party will never be eating or celebrating here again. The food was okay but having a manager argue with us prior to eating with zero urgency to have our orders taken made things taste a lot worse. I'm sure proper management and training would help this place however myself and my family will not be returning to waste our money, time, or patience here again being that from the host to the managers this is acceptable or behavior from Cheesecake Factory.
