I'm unvaccinated. I am hungry. On the verge of hangfusion. Went to the drive-up window and ordered my food. The service was exceptionally friendly today. My order was obviously made fresh. My coffee is delicious. I wasn't going to eat fast food today but hunger forced me to make a quick choice. I am very happy I did. Carl's Jr. FTW. read more

I visited Carl's Jr location on 03/24/26 at 10409 Whittier blvd, Whittier Ca. I ordered at drive thru and used my point to redeemed a waffle fry. I waited about five minutes just to receive this poor quality of a product that was obviously refried and given to me soaking with grease!! I don't care if I had to wait a little longer for a fresh item however when the staff starts lacking common sense and is negligent with food safety and handling this becomes a problem! Not only could I not enjoy my fries , but the grease that spewed from the soaked bag also got on my work clothes and on the seat of my car!! To add insult I asked Alejandra (the cashier) for 1 bbq pack and I was told the cost was $1.50!!!! I don't mind paying for a sauce but $1.50 for 1 small bbq pack is OUTRAGEOUS!!! I'm asking for this experience to be corrected and at least at the bare minimum return my star points. As for visiting this particular location, it's done. They wanted to charge me $0.99 for a tiny cup of ranch, which is excessive compared to other fast food places that charge far less ($0.25) or include it for free. The food itself was fine, but the pricing for basic condiments feels unreasonable, especially given how expensive the meals already are. It's not about the ranch, it's about the principle and overall value. Literally trying to milk every little cent possible. Honestly, this was a disappointing experience, will not be coming back lol read more

May 9 at 12:22 am rudest woman at the window. Truly ruined the night for me and my family. We're coming back from a long road trip and craving Carl's Jr but this woman truly ruined the experience. She also just shut the window before we could ask for ketchup and napkins. Awful read more

I never really eat Carl's Jr but I heard they were doing some special pricing to support the community during challenging times so off I went to "support". I ordered one of the window specials (small combo) since I'm not a regular but I guess the cashier heard me wrong and ended up charging me for a Large, XL combo which rung at $17.80. I was surprised it'd be that much for such a basic combo so I questioned it and he didn't offer a refund for over charging the combo, instead tried asking if i wanted to add other items. I explained what I had actually requested and he said that wasn't what I'd ordered... he said he'd make me "fresh nuggets" to add to my meal but i was in a rush and decided to just call it a loss after he clearly did not want to provide a refund. (I was ready to give him the food back) Unfortunately this is my first and LAST time at this specific Carls. Very disappointed. read more

I got one bbq for my 9 piece order of chicken stars and a western bacon cheeseburger combo and I asked for a second bbq cup and they wanted to charge for the second cup read more

Went by after a late night of work ordered a BYOB and a regular strawberry shake. Was over charged by 2 bucks the shake was watery the chicken stars were undercooked and cold. The lady at the drive through had an attitude because I ordered the shake didn't give me a receipt and closed the window immediately after passing me my order. I live around the block from this location and by far the worst service I ever had from here. read more

Just left the location after a very disappointing experience with the drive thru. The cashier Maria, was very rude. When we first pulled up, she told us that there was a system change and we'll have to wait 7 minutes and we said that it was fine. Ordered a famous star combo and added 3 tenders. Pulling up the window we seen that there was a chicken sandwich for 1.99, so when we asked Maria to add that, she scoffed at us, closed the window and walked away. Mind you, when she first saw us, she had such a mean look on her face. No smile or friendly demeanor whatsoever. She comes back and told us the total was like $30 something, and we said did you get the chicken sandwich and she was like oh yeah. Yells at the cook in the back to add it, closed the window before we even got to ask for extra mayo and lettuce on the chicken sandwich. Then she opens her window and says she has to charge us for the chicken sandwich separately. For what? I don't know. Received our food, and we asked for ranch and bbq and she said it's $1.00 each! Since when did you guys start charging $1 for extra sauce. That is crazy. So we said never mind. We pull out the drive thru and parked in the parking lot. Discovered that the chicken tenders were super small and she didn't give our Diablo sauce that comes with it! Checked the receipt to see that it was included but she also charged $1 for an extra Diablo sauce which we never got. We go back to the drive thru and the way she looked at us through the window was like she was so annoyed by our presence there. She opens her window and we told her she forgot our sauce that comes with the meal and asked why were we charged for another Diablo sauce at that? She said they had to. It made no sense. Overall the experience with her was very disappointing. So were the prices on sauces and the chicken tenders... so so disappointing. I probably will never come back to Carl's Jr again. Thanks Maria. I respect all my elders but this lady was something else. I'm sorry but she shouldn't be working at a drive thru at night with that kind of attitude. It's very off putting and unnecessary. read more

$18+ for a combo. Before some of you get your knickers in a bunch, and say that I should have rest the menu, I went through the drive through, and the reasonably, legible prices are for the sandwich only. The prices for a combo, even from the car, are very hard to read, as combo prices are approximately 1/4". When I called the girl ( in the window on it), she immediately said that it was corporate that sets the prices, and quickly disappeared into the store. When she re-appeared, I asked her if the restaurant if corporate owned, or a franchise restaurant. She stated that it is a franchise restaurant, to which I responded that if that is the case, the case, I may be wrong, but they should be able to advertise larger print prices on their menus. She stuttered and couldn't give me a response. I told her they need to address to that so as to not be misleading. She responded, in a very dismissing tone with a simple, "this is a franchise." Well I understand that certainly n things on a menu are at the discretion of the corporation, but I think the franchisee, in this case, the owner of this franchise, has the discretion to make the prices bigger on their menu. Don't think you're speaking with a 9th grader that doesn't understand the way these things work. I'm not saying I can't be wrong, but I think I know what I'm talking about. Anyhow, I just said I didn't have a problem paying what she was charging me, as long as it's not misleading, which it I!! read more

I went here and saw the new "triple" burgers. Sign said $12 bucks and change for combo. Nope 12 bucks just for the burger. Famous star triple combo is $18+. While sitting in drive thru there's a window sign that says the double famous star combo is $8.99. So I just paid $10.00 for an extra patty. FML they got me. read more

I was in the area and decided to grab a quick bite. I saw 1.8 average star reviews but it's a fast food restaurant so customers will tend to rate them when things go wrong. This one lace is large with lots of tables. There were about 20 people in this place eating. The cashier Karla was efficient and took my order right as and I brought my food to my table within two minutes. It's Carl's Jr. so the food is up to their standards to my taste buds. read more

Food was amazing and delicious the service was great Gina was great and very friendly. I would definitely go back.

This place is absolutely horrible! We sat and waited for a loooong time for our order as the manager was too busy chatting it up with the local homeless people that were here eating pizza. No they don't sell pizza here. They brought in a whole pizza and we're just eating it. The manager then proceeded to give others a whole bag of hamburgers buns. This place is so shady read more

Perhaps the best Western Bacon Cheeseburger I have ever had at Carl's Jr. Best lunch I have had in a long time.

Conveniently located right off the 605, it makes it a good option for those on the road. Sometimes the line can be a little long, but typically it doesn't take very long to get food. We were just here yesterday, and it took longer than usual, but the food was super fresh and the fries were perfect. I don't mind waiting a little longer for freshness, I kinda wish all places would operate like this. Service is a little hit or miss as far as friendliness, but it's never horrible. I think it all really depends on how busy they are. Keep your expectations realistic and you shouldn't be disappointed. read more

Always changing the menu. I wish they consistently had the breakfast burger. And graveyard lady is rude

Best Carl's Jr I've been too they always have shakes best restaurant ever. Thank you.

I already have ceased going to Carl's Jr. pretty much since the price hike like two years ago. But I do like the flavor of their food. So I thought I'd treat my self post income tax check deposit to family dinner from here. I thought it a little off that I didn't see my order on the screen maybe I wasn't observant enough. The woman that took my order did not give me the total. But I new it was going to be expensive for fast food anyway. We wanted to eat at home so I paid and took my food home. After distributing everyone's meals I realized she got my order WRONG!! I can't explain how angry I am that my Santa Fe chicken sandwich was not there but a famous star instead. With cheese and I hate cheese on burgers in the first place. It was simple!! it's not rocket science! I could understand if this were a young adult or high schooler. But it's obvious this is this woman's choice of career. Good lord! So angry I will more then likely never be going back EVER AGAIN! She ruined my appetite, I gave my burger to my dog and I ate a freaking microwave burrito instead. I tried calling but I think maybe they're used to complaints so it goes to voice mail. SMH! HANGRY UNFORGIVINGLY HANGRY:( read more

To start with I am upset that we are a regular customer and I asked how much would it be to get a large drink instead of a medium drink. We are getting value meals. The price difference is ..20 on the menu board. She said it would be .87. They are on sale for $1. I know why this store gets only two stars. Can we say the MANGER. I told her I talked to her last time. So I have given two chances. Nothing. The place is clean. And the food was warm. I am just old fashion. Why repeatedly go to a place if they treat you like every other customer. Maybe this is why as a store they got average only two stars. They need to retrain the owner and manager. read more

I have been coming to this carl's jr for about 3 years since i moved to whittier. They never fail to always mess something up.
