This place is our regular stop on our way to Colorado from L.A. every year. Food is served fresh and hot, great service with a smile too! This year I had the unfortunate experience of losing my wallet in their parking lot. Another traveler found it and brought it into Carl's Jr. for them to hold it in their lost and found. I didn't realize I'd lost it until I was already close to home about an 8 hour drive away! Sheldon the General Manager at this location said he had it and would mail it to me. I offered to compensate him for his honesty and kindness and he wouldn't accept my money. I grew up in the big city where it's sometimes hard to find such commendable acts of kindness. The world would be a much better place with more people like Sheldon and his crew at this Carl's Jr. I write this review so others will stop and meet these amazing people and get something great to eat too! The Santa Fe chicken sandwiches were ok. They seemed dry, slightly overcooked and the sauce either was minimal or soaked into the bun. I ran out of chicken before bun. Stopped here at 7:40 to grab food to go since it's the first thing we have come across for 100 miles. We walked in, sign says lobby closes at 8pm. We were kicked out and told lobby is closed and would have to use the drive thru. We are towing a u-haul and there is no way for us to fit through their oddly shaped drive thru. We walked out and they immediately locked the door. There were about 10 people sitting inside when we were kicked out. The owner of this place needs to fire everyone working there and start with new employees. The employees were arguing with each other the whole time we were there. They were using the f-bomb and talking loudly about going back to jail. They seemed annoyed while we were ordering our food and lacked any kind of customer service skills. Then there's the food. The burgers were disgusting. The meat was burned and had zero flavor and we are certain the buns were expired, they fell apart like they were super old and they tasted old and terrible. Half of my bun was dry and falling apart like it was very old and the other half was soggy like it had been sitting in water. When my family came here the restaurant was 5 minutes until closing. And when I went to the bathroom and came back the gate closed, separating me and my family I had to ask an employee to open it. And when we were leaving the restaurant the door was locked so we had to ask the employee to open the door. I am never coming here again. At least the food was good. read more

Worst customer service of any place I've been. We confirmed our order with the cashier multiple times and they assured us that we had ordered the correct sandwich. When we got our order it was the wrong sandwich and when we went up to them to get the correct food, they blatantly ignored us and continued to talk in the back, before having no choice but to speak to us. I've been here a couple of times, being local, and all I have to say is watch what you order. Any slight change will cost you, and the sides are very expensive for what you get. The place is clean, the service barely adequate, typical of fast food today with young kids only there because their parents insist they get a job. Enthusiasm lacking. Today I ordered a side of fried zucchini, thinking a side would be larger than the tiny portion coming with a combo meal. It wasn't. Excellent customer service!! Most other fast food burgers are squishy and limpy, but no -- not Carl's Jrs of Salina. I got two breakfast burgers, and it sent me into a blast from happy childhood past. The bread was toasted, and the cheese was melted just right, flanked by crispy tater tots and a fluffy folded egg. I was on a long, all day journey home. I had already gotten screwed at a Denny's in Grand Junction and wasted 30 minutes there. I was starving and needed gas by the time I was going by Salina and I was thanking my lucky stars when I saw Carl's Jr. in one of the gas stations there. worse location ever i came just before closing driving from colorado to california . ordered my food and paid about 50$ for our order , our sons order wasn't made correctly and i asked them to correct the order she stated we closed down and threw away all the left overs already and have nothing available to serve you and i was like are you serious there's nothing else i can have because we have another nine hours to drive and just wanted to eat and with attitude she said no while throwing the burger i paid for away the same burger they said wouldn't be replaced the most i was offered was a refund for only my burger . i get staff can be exhausted and ready to go but that was no way to treat some one . no one cared no one had anything to say they plainly did not care just a lot of shrugging of shoulders . im thankful to the one staff member who was off the clock and gave me there star nuggets because i was tired and hungry and in tears when i told my husband not realizing she was standing behind the establishment ! whoever that is give her a raise and the other staff needs to either be given less hours so they don't have this attitude and exhaustion or be retrained because they clearly couldn't handle this situation read more

This place serves Carl's Jr. the way I remember it back in the 90s. A well put together burger with delicious criscut fries. Plus, who we think was the manager, was super friendly to every single customer. The reason for four stars was that my turkey burger was slightly overdone but everything else that we ordered was phenomenal unlike in the big cities where it's all thrown together sloppily and tastes like garbage. read more

Open at 7 and can't get a breakfast burger until 8. One hour to hear up a grill I'm told. I had a big order because our business is in the area. Very rude person that took the order.
