I am late to the amazingness of Carls Jr. How I have made it my entire life without ever having it, I have no idea, but it was love at first bite. Maybe it was the blue skies or the desire for something gooey after a long night....or maybe it was just simply a magical sourdough cheesy Star burger....but this sandwich right here - the Sourdough Star - was fantastic. Moses Lake Carls Jr, we waited 30 minutes for a burger, people who ordered ahead of us got their orders before us. when we got our food finally the burger was burnt and the hashbrowns were thrown in the bag upside down. Lady on headset took around 5 minutes to take the order ordered a 3pc and a burger both combos was 34 dollars got the lemonades and ordered larges and they were the size of a small at McDonald's waited around 8-10 min outside gave us the food and never got the lemonades pulled us aside and waited another 5 minutes before walking in to get the lemonades and absolutely not a soul to be seen inside with 1 order on the screen drove to a park to enjoy the meal and found out we got no sauces for the order and no straws and fries were as saggy as my aunt and weren't edible without sauce what an absolutely fantastic way to end the day. read more

As we went further in there was a "wet floor" sign next to the ice scattered on the tile floor... No one currently at counter.. I went to use the restroom while Hubby ordered.. I noticed work shoes occupying the 1st stall I used the other.. the woman finished/flushed/went to paper towel dispenser reeled some off/blew her nose (NEVER turning on the water) and exited the restroom. Worst fast food restaurant ever? I don't know about that, but pretty close to it. This place has a bad case of poor management. The workers were very unprofessional. Ignoring guests, talking inappropriately, laughing loudly. I over heard a group of 5 workers all huddled together, talking about how old they were. Two of them bragging about only being 17 years old. One of them said he was working his 18th consecutive hour, the group all laughed and said how illegal that is. I heard one female ask another where the boss was, she responded by saying he just left out the back door. Then they both joked about how chill the rest of the night will be and how they can just stand around and get paid. All these conversations I heard were 5 feet from where I was standing while waiting for my food. Speaking of food, it was very substandard for fast food, the chicken strips were over cooked, the burger was sloppy and poorly put together and they crammed $25 worth of food into a tiny paper bag. read more

They had us pull forward to wait for the food which was weird because they weren't even busy. We get home open the bag and I don't have biscuits and gravy they competently left them out. I called the store to let them know she said I could come back. I said no it's to far to drive back just give me a store credit for when I come back. She said we don't do store credits. Terrible teenage work ethic and sloppily prepared burgers due to said employees - what a nightmare! I don't have high expectations when it comes to fast food, but I do expect it to be 1) fast, and 2) edible. We stopped here on our way home, expecting to get back on the road quickly for the long drive back. 20 minutes later we had our order and dealt with the cluster that is the parking lot and the exit onto the street leading back to the interstate. When we got on the road and unwrapped the burger it was put together with way too much mayo that soaked everything and made it completely disgusting. The two teens who sauntered into the location late for their shift were the ones who inevitably made this low quality concoction. They were chided by their supervisor for being late as they were busy and short staffed, but all that seemed to do was motivate them to retaliate with customers orders. We stopped in for lunch on a trip to Spokane. We have a little one, who naturally needed to be changed. Strangely enough, neither the mens or womens bathrooms have a baby changing station.....so families should consider that. The building itself if newer since they remodeled after a sherry's closed down. It was very clean and service was fine. For food, I picked up the the $4 real deal is a good value for a bunch of food. It includes a chicken sandwich, double cheese burger, small fry, and small drink. I found out that you can't pay to upgrade the size of your drink, but it's not a big deal. The restaurant was clean. Adrianna's service was quick and friendly. I like that you receive a number, seat yourself after ordering, and they serve your order to you at the table. On the downside, the Steak and Egg Burrito I ordered seems to be shrinking in size. This one was significantly smaller than other restaurants. Also, the steak was over-cooked and no longer tender. I love Carls Jr. However, this location is in need of immediate help. I came in, there were 4 employees here, oh wow..before I continue the girl at the counter just coughed without covering her mouth and was over a customer to go order. Just disgusting. So let me continue, as she sweeps her mess right next to me as I type. Update: so I had to just ask the girl as she swept next to me if it's policy or what. Why do you sweep next to customers eating? She seemed stunned I even asked so I pointed out how easily dust could kick up into my food if she sweeps right next to me. I'm not a jerk, I have worked in service my entire life but this location is filthy. Why would so much trash accumulate before employees take care of it? This is not a busy location and there were staff members walking around. Now, from start to finish here goes, girl at seemed annoyed that I even came in, then said she'd be right with me. I ordered, went to fill my drink..totally dirty area, just no excuse. Sat down at what I thought was a clean table. It wasn't. Got my food, ughhhhh. Looks like she threw it in and handed it to me. Burger parties were burnt so too dry to enjoy, fries were ok, and cookie was burnt. I sat there and ate my fries while enjoying my view if trash everywhere. I will say, the girl who was sweeping, was very sweet and engaging and even seemed to get it when I explained the dust in the food. I will not be returning to this restaurant and won't suggest it to any of my guests. A manager is needed quickly. read more

Fast food chain stores are the same in terms of menu. I only rate them on apparent quality of location management. The ML location is often slow putting out orders, get the orders wrong, and somehow don't produce the same quality of food as other locations (such as Ritzville, WA which is also on the I-90 freeway). Many of their staff (but not all of them) seem to have a 'don't care' attitude. All these things indicate poor in store management. And will someone take responsibility for the glass plate entrance door that always slams shut ? It's been like that since this location opened, several years ago. Last time I was there they had a sign up saying the door slams close. No initiative to actually fix it or arrange to have it fixed ? I would think an 8 hour shift of that would bother someone there. Maybe if the glass eventually develops cracks and a customer gets cut by it, someone here will do something about it. read more

This establishment and it's residents are very supportive of military personnel. Walked in with my uniform and received acknowledgements by everyone I made eye contact with. Ordered a grilled chicken salad, asked for 2 ranch salad dressings, they would only give me one. Chicken was spongy & weird. Girls in drive-thru were too busy socializing with each other to focus on customers. Took forever to get order placed & get food in the drive-thru. When I come into this particular Carl's Jr, I'm greeted with a friendly smile by employees who seem genuinely happy to be serving me and the other patrons of the restaurant. The entire restaurant is clean and well maintained and it seems that over the years, Carl's Jr. has found a way to make my old favorite (Double Western Bacon Cheeseburger) faster than ever without sacrificing quality, quantity, or taste. And if I just want to drink a cup of water, I don't feel like I'm inconveniencing the staff by asking for a water cup. I can't speak for what was going on when this location first opened since I didn't have the opportunity to check it out before the apparent management change, but this Carl's Jr runs like a well oiled machine that makes delicious, if "heavy" food. read more

As of this writing I have mixed feelings. Lunch and dinner service and food at this Carl's Jr. Is very good. For that I would give almost 5 stars. BUT, their breakfast service and food SUCKS! I wonder why the owner and management can't see the problem? It's mind boggling to see how busy the McDonald's next door is at breakfast and they handle the crowd just fine. This Carl's Jr cannot handle waiting on the drive thru and the counter at the same time! It's an absolute train wreck! The biscuits always seem like they've spent two minutes too long in the oven. Then they are sloppily assembled. It just seems too obvious that the morning crew could care less. I think to them it's just a job and a pay check with absolutely no pride in what they do. read more
