A cheese enchilada and bean tostada as well as rice and beans. For one it's a bit bean heavy since the tostada is a bean one and the you also have refried beans on the side. Perhaps to reduce that the tostada should be a guacamole tostada. The food isn't all that spicy. In fact it's a bit on the bland side but despite that I nearly finished my entire combination plate so I must have been hungry and the food wasn't all that bad. But it wasn't the most memorable Mexican meal I had but I will freely admit I am a serious snob when it comes to Mexican food. So would I come back? Well, Moses Lake is still largely unexplored by me and the couple of stops I made I passed by a lot of different restaurants so I'd say "never say never" but it isn't a major priority to come back but in a pinch I wouldn't rule out on a return either. I just was looking for something spicier and perhaps more authentic.

But even if there is a line out the door, the wait is quick. You can't go wrong with anything you order. I like the tostadas and the enchilada plate. The tostadas have a nice crunchy shell smothered in beans and meat, topped with fresh lettuce, tomatoes, and cheese. The enchilada plate come with your choice of enchilada (I like chicken and it's chicken breast) with house made sauce and rice and beans. In addition, they have great salsa! The Taco Shop is definitely a stop in Moses Lake you don't want to miss!

Had 2 tacos Al pastor combo and a cheese enchilada on the side. Practically perfect. Also the service was prompt and very cheerful. But there's some room for improvement in a couple areas. First is ambience. Place is a wide open area, open ceiling, tile floors. While I assume this place is hopping in the evening when they bring in the DJ and move the tables out for a dance floor, it feels cold and echoey as a restaurant. Better lighting, something to break the sound and add warmth would be nice. Secondly is the price point. 2 tacos and an enchilada were $24 before tax and tip. The food was really good, but not sure it was THAT good. Still, would come back when I'm feeling prosperous.
