So my family and i were our way to Carl's Jr, we order and everything was good, the problem started when my dad notice that they were going in and out of the restaurant, after that they took 20 mins to give us our food, i was mad, and then eating i checked the receipt and it was 30 dollar for just a few things, okay I'll still pass that, but them a few things were missing, fries, cookies, etc, the burgers were cold, and then when i went to tell this dude a few things were missing, he just gave me stupid excuses and then when he finally gave me my stuff, he did it like he was going to hit me, lets talk about their "Chicken tenders", they suck, i asked for spicy buffalo, and i was hopping to see something like in KFC, but they just gave me Buffalo sauce, ARE YOU KIDDING ME? I just got home after ordering from their drive thru. Three of our burgers were smashed and the cheese and sauces were stuck to the wrapper. All 3 looked were in the shape of two fingers and a thumb. It looked intentional. When they handed us our drink it was overflowing and covered in root beer outside of the cup. He didn't bother to wipe it down. I got really grossed out! My son refused to eat here because of the staff. They were acting weird and aren't too concerned about hygiene. I got 2 strawberry milkshakes and the guy making them with no gloves obviously didn't know how to make them. I got onion rings I couldn't even bite into them, they were so hard. I haven't eaten at a Carl's Jr for years. I arrived at about 4:30, ordered my food and it was ready in about 30 seconds. I didn't have enough time to even draw my drink. Fries were hot, burger was full of lettuce, onions and everything else. Delicious! There are a lot of places to eat around this area but it's great to have a Carl's Jr in this complex. I'm not sure what it's like when it get's busy but the restaurant at this time of the day is clean. I need to try other entree's. I had the double cheese burger. I grew up here in Monroe but have been living in Arizona for 15 years. On a recent trip to Washington I was so exited to see a Carls junior in Monroe. I immediately pulled in to get my Bacon egg and Cheese Biscuit that only Carls Junior can make so well. I was surprised that the parking lot was empty. I thought wow that's weird because in Arizona or California the place would be full. I just figured maybe people don't know about Carls Junior up here in Washington. I ordered my Biscuit and on my first bite was disappointed it was microwaved mush i was in a hurry ate half and threw it away. It was definitely not up to California and Arizona Carls junior standards. I went back the next day I figured maybe it was a bad day I'll give them a second chance and get a burger It was horrible microwaved again. If i wanted microwaved burgers I would go to burger king. If anybody from corporate is reading this this store has a huge problem. Don't let the people of Monroe Wa. think that this is what Carls Junior is all about. We arrived at 8 PM Monday for a fast dinner after shopping. We were the only customers in the dining area. We waited over 10 minutes for someone to take our order. We observed that there was only one person taking orders from both the counter and the drive-through. There were at least 4 other people standing around in the kitchen area staring at us and waiting to be given an order for them to work on. We placed our order and were told that they charge $1.00 for using debit cards so we used Apple Pay (credit card account) to avoid the charge. The food came on time and was hot and quite good, however greasier than other burger places nearby. As we ate we noticed a few people straggling in and waiting at least 10 minutes each for the one order taker to take their orders. When they first opened up several months ago, they were excellent, but are now understaffed with weak service from a lackluster skeleton crew. The place appears to be in a slow decline to mediocrity. We loved Carl's Jr. in California, but as far as this store is concerned, we are not planning to return until something drastically changes. read more
