We were at the end of our day, being up and driving for nearly 24 hrs and decided to grab some quick food and keep heading home for another 3 hrs. We decided to stop here around 10:45pm and it being our first actual meal of the day we were quite happy to see this place open. Our trailer was loaded with expensive items and parking lot completely empty we pulled up front so we can keep an eye out, and we ordered. After ordering the short Mexican guy walked around the cashier and mumbled something to the cashier, yelp stating that they were closing at 1am and other guests were sitting and eating meals and since we were grabbing a quick bite, we thought it was fine to quickly eat and head back on the road as we had to stay on schedule. We got our food and started eating, 5 mins into eating I noticed the manager was staring at me with a cold intimidating piercing look, and he stated he bluntly said that they are closed as if he was trying to pick a fight, then goes to mention that we can't park in their lot as it was parked with no other cars in sight. We finished eating walked outside and saw the signed said they they closed at 11pm, and he started mumbling at around 10:45pm. It could have been very bad for him if I pressed it, but we had a long day and I wasn't going to get bullied. He was very unprofessional, threatening demeanor, and tried to intimidate. Seriously the only drive-thru in town where you can get biscuit n gravy, and it's so good!!! I was very surprised how addicting and delicious it was. I'm obsessed now. The line moves pretty quick unless you come during lunch rush, but that's everywhere. They have a Coca-Cola drink fountain machine inside and it allows you to customize your drink. Pretty neat! I hope they bring the Green Burrito to this location!! I would never leave haha. But seriously, come for breakfast and try the biscuits and gravy!! read more

Went here today and got a Chicken Star combo and a 5 piece tender combo. Had a coupon for $6 for the 5 piece tender combo. If you look at the receipt I was definitely overcharged because it just doesn't add up. So either they are not adding in the extra cost or they're basically stealing money from people. Either way not cool Look at the receipt- In the mathematical world $9.79 + $6.00 = $15.79. Then when you add the tax $1.47 to $15.79 that equals $17.26. So looking at this mess of a receipt they are stealing just under 12% of the ticket. If this is not the case, they need a correct the receipt because we could only go off the amount that we are charged. read more

COVID-19 phase Drive thru taken. Ordered the charbroiled BBQ chicken sandwich with extra BBQ sauce. Paid for it by a masked worker who was nice and left. The charbroiled BBQ chicken sandwich was delicious! Fresh lettuce and tomato. Great wheat bun and BBC sauce with the chicken cooked perfectly! Good service and delicious sandwich! Went through the drive-thru and my husband, who orders the usual burger, asks them to withhold the onions and the drive-thru chick stated, matter of factly, that the burger does not have onions. So we figure she knew her stuff cuz she had such conviction, we get our burger and surprise surprise, the onions are there . .. the ones she said are not part of the burger. I was driving (a bit late) from Barstow, and wanted to stop in Bakersfield for some reason, but the traffic didn't really allow much, and I wasn't willing to really work at it, so I stopped in Delano. I really wanted a Green Burrito location, but this wasn't one. I also thought about Hardee's Mushroom Swiss Burger, but that's gone for me also. Instead, I ordered the worlds tiniest chicken combo, a 3 piece chicken tender combo, for a little more than $7 after that. Now, if I go to Popeyes, it's about the same price, but I can only eat two pieces of the chicken, most of the side item, and some of the biscuit. Here, I ate all three pieces of chicken easily, and ate most of the fries until they were cold. On a long lonely stretch of highway, late at night - when you're feeling tired, need to use a restroom, or get some food - this Carl's Jr shines like a beacon right off the 99. When you exit, it's very close and shares a parking lot with the 99 cent store. Since it's open 24 hours, it's also convenient no matter what time you're traveling. Since I had just recently eaten dinner, I pulled up into the drive thru for some caffeine and a snack. The fried zucchini was a nice portion for about $3 and the cherry coke gave me enough juice to last until the next stop. The lady at the window was generous with the napkins and ranch dressing. Hooray. I love it when they do that and are not stingy with their condiments. read more

This place is horrible. Got our orders wrong and when we brought it to the managers attention she said we should have paid attention at the time the cashier was repeating our orders.. LOL!! What? Is that really how you talk to your customers. Mind you this manager was a mess had her shirt u tucked and it looked like she was wearing her shirt as a dress her hair was very messy and didn't look like manager type. She was really arguing back a forth with my husband, brother and I about who was wrong. The only reason we didn't get ask for a full refund was because we were starving. Stop by Carl's jr to get something to eat and I immediately noticed the service wasent as friendly as other places. The girl sounded dull and bored like she didnt want to be there. So once I ordered a California classic burger combo I asked for ketchup and ranch. I owe only got 2 packets of ketchup and 1 ranch like seriously!? The thing I'm mostly disappointed in was the fact that my fries were all soggy and cold. This Carl's Jr restaurant managed to upkeep a higher quality level after 6 months being open. Graciela who took my Famous Star combo meal managed to make eye contact briefly twice. Nowhere else do I get that kind of attention. Somehow I suspect she is using a computer or something because she came up with the exact change quickly. What's more she knows the layout because she told me where I can get ketchup. No more need to come with exact number how many packet of premium Heinz ketchup I will need. I can flood my crispy french fries to my heart's content. The buns are made fresh by toasting it, no more sloppy second looking flat burgers. The meat patty I swear must be an angus beef made to look generic cause it was char tasty. Now, this dining area is kept clean, not something I would encounter in Bakersfield or Visalia branches. Of course the obligatory lazy man's drive up ordering is also available. This Carl's Jr is a definite winner, a step up above the rest. read more

Employee Mellisaa is extremely rude. Went in a few nights ago and customer service was horrible and food took forever.

Although I'm not typically a fan of fast food, I did give this place a try once I learned they offer a vegan Beyond Burger in their Famous Star. I ordered it with no cheese and in a lettuce wrap, and it was delicious! The veggies were fresh and the sauce was on point, but the "star" of the show was the Beyond Burger patty! It was perfectly cooked and took on that flame broiled taste of a typical beef burger. Some of my meat eating companions tried it as well, and they all agreed that it tasted great. At 20g of protein per serving, the burger is very filling as well. Do yourself a favor and try the Beyond Burger Famous Star at Carl's Jr. Your body, and the planet, will thank you. read more

The food I ordered was good, but the employees make me not want to come back. When I got wanted to order to employees were to busy having a conversation and they seem annoyed that I was there. When I ordered my food, employee was distracted by something in which she was starring at me. After I paid I went to go wait for my food and it came out quick. I have given this place multiple chances, I give up on this place now. They continue to hire unqualified people. My order is very simple it's just two items. A jr. cheese burger and either an onion rings or the zucchini. I have never ever got any sauces like ranch or bbq when I request for them in the drive thru. So this time I ordered a jr. cheese burger and onion rings. They asked what kind of sauce I want. I said RANCH. They said we are out of RANCH. Oh wonderful just my luck, ok I'll take bbq. They said ok. Then she comes back at the window and asked again what kind of sauce I wanted, again bbq. Brings my order and I thought I saw bbq sauce packet in the bottom of bag. Get home, it's not there, I didn't do my part and physically checked to see if it was there. Carl's Jr. now is expensive almost catching up to five guys, so when you are paying a lot of money and not getting what you want is very aggravating. So ok you don't want to give me sauces with my order just say so, ok here is your 1 star review, but you really earn a O star in my opinion. The owner, the manager, and everyone else is unqualified to run this business. I wish they would bring back the Wendy's it was a lot better than Carl's Jr. in my opinion. read more

Walked in an employee was complaining out in the floor while customers were present, about how she's pissed off! The other employees just laughed it off. Ordered one burger, was charged .42 for a reg cup of water since my order was to go. The minute I got into my car I opened my burger to begin eating, right as I was about to drive off I realized the buns on my burger were completely stale. They remade it, but still feel that if an employee was talking like that on the floor they deserve a write up! How embarrassing. read more

Disappointing to say the least. I stopped coming here about a year after they first opened for poor service and it seems it hasn't changed! I had to wait in front of the store for my food (ordered 2 thickburgers, regular crisscut fries, and a "big" hamburger). I waited about 10-15 minutes and I figured waiting this long they should have my order correct. Well, I got home and they forgot to give me the big hamburger. I swear every time I come to this location something is always missing from my order and it's never worth driving back for! Mind you that the big hamburger is sold at a whopping $1.99 so I wasn't heartbroken over that. I'm more upset that there is no one there to double, even triple check the orders that go out when sales for this location are not booming enough for them to have an excuse. read more
