I like Carls Jr. With that in mind I purchased a student discount card at my university that had a great deal here. I went to cash it in and the cashier fumbled with different codes and couldn't figure it out. I asked if I could just give him what I owe and he could give me what I ordered, and he simply couldn't. How crazy is that? No manager present as well. Only 3 people working, standing around in a clean kitchen. The cashier was taking my order and speaking to someone in drive thru at the same Time. These people are overworked in a system that can't accept the coupons it gives out. I am going elsewhere for dinner and don't intend on returning. Mega lame. read more

I'm reaching out because local contact information was blacked out at our Carl's Jr. restaurant in American Fork, Utah. During my visit through the drive thru two out the the three meals were incorrect. One meal was made a double and sized up without asking (cost more) and after I asked for a single patty and medium drink. The kids meal was suppose to be a cheeseburger and it was chicken stars (only 3 and your website says it comes with 4) and no sauce. The stars were hard and old. A typical bait and switch. They advertise a famous star for $2.19 BUT don't add cheese because the price goes up to $5.99. Unbelievable!!!!! I doubt I'll visit CJ's anytime soon. They charged me over $3.00 for one freaking slice of cheese. This is not a review of Carl's Jr., only a new burger!! While Carl's Jr. is pretty much the same everywhere I've been and they make great burgers.....the new BFC (Big Fried Cheese) is TRASH!! The BFC promises a fried disc of melt cheese on a burger. The promise is empty and couldn't be farther from the truth. I order one the other day. At first bite I notice no cheese flavor. When I peeled back the breading on the disc of fried cheese I found.... yup!, more breading! Little to no cheese (see photo). I went to the drive through with my brother and mother. They charged her a ridiculous amount for what we ordered but the person working there didn't go over her order with her. She asked why it cost so much because she and I assumed they got her order wrong. He wouldn't go over with her there either. She told him what she ordered and he said yeah thats right. Well the receipt and the order said otherwise. She paid for three extra meals. She was so frustrated we didn't go in to complain especially since he didn't listen at the drive thru. The food is pretty good here most of the time. I much prefer their breakfast sandwiches to the ones you get at McDonald's. Here you actually feel like you're getting something that looks like and resembles an egg on your sausage egg and cheese biscuit. And the biscuits are soft and delicious. I have to agree with Bruce though, it hardly qualifies as fast food if you are the only one in the drive through and yet they still ask you to pull way forward and then make you wait for 5-10 more minutes before they finally bring out your food. Definitely don't go here if you're rushed for time. Then, when they do finally bring your food out to you, there is no apology about the wait, but rather they seem annoyed that they have to walk all the wait out to the car to give me my food... well whose fault is that? read more

The playplace is nice and big and is separated from the main eating area by doors, which is nice if you have kids who like to wander. They have kids meals. Not a good selection of vegetarian options. I just get the fried zucchini. But I mainly come here for my kids anyway. read more

The staff was chatting in the back and someone scratching their hand. Bare hands went from cash to food however a few in the back did have gloves on. Last visit they forgot the MEAT PATTY!!!! This time I ordered a burger with bacon and they forgot the BACON! The tables were all dirty and when we mentioned our order being incorrect she just said sorry we got a new cook so it will take some time for her to learn- what.... Uh I've worked fast food before. Either comp the meal, replace it, or give a coupon. The last time I was here was about 5 years ago for a messed up breakfast order. This time no way I'll be returning. What a joke. This Carl's Jr. is one of the better ones in Utah County. They keep the place decently clean, bing your food to you quickly, and have a kids area for the little ones. Far better than the Carl's Jr. in Orem. Never go there. Love their waffle fries and the burgers are juicy and filling. Dropped a star for not having a changing table in the restroom. This is THE WORST Carl's Jr. location out there! To qualify this, I LOVE the restaurant chain. I eat there 2-3x a week. This specific location is terrible. They are always slow, they skimp on the sauces, they frequently get the order a little wrong, their sodas are frequently flat. Other than they, I recommend this location. Don't be surprised if you order at the drive thru and they ask you to pull to the front and they'll bring out your order. I did that and then waited 10 minutes for them to bring it out. I can not believe how pathetic the taco salad I got from this location was. All it consisted of was a smear of refried been, a splat of sour cream and a pinch of lettuce. Typically Carl's Jr. isn't a bad place to eat. I enjoy it. This store however is terrible. Customer service is bad and the food worse. I couldn't tell if it was a burger or some sloshed together creation from a Mongolian grill. It's almost like they just piled all ingredients into tin foil and called it a burger, so much sauce and tasted disgusting. I would recommend skipping this one as it will be a let down and a wast of money. If I could go negative with the stars I would. There is a great Culver's 2 exits south. read more
