I have been going to his office to receive immunotherapy shots for about half a year now, and it's been a pleasant experience. I have never had problems with making an appointment with Dr. Borrego and when I arrive for my appointments the wait time is within 10-15 minutes. Dr. Borrego listens and has always provided me with extra time if I needed clarification on symptoms/medications. He welcomes my input and has provided me and my family with excellent medical care for the last 10 years. The staff has always been professional and friendly. I have been to all three locations and have received quality care from Dr. Borrego, the offices are clean and family friendly. Supportive environment when I'm feeling sick.

How shocking and alarming since my husband is experiencing health problems, and we are working with several doctors. At opening time on March 26, I contacted United Medical Clinic. The office manager, Perla, was not in. I spoke to Mari. She told me the message was an error and this message went out to others as well. What a disaster! I do not recommend this Clinic. There are other clinics that are more careful with technology!

From the late night phone calls to visiting my wife every morning whenever she was in the hospital (which was a lot), he constantly reassured us that both mom and baby will be fine. He is definitely one of the smartest and kind hearted medical professionals you will ever have. Words alone cannot describe the type of person he is but if I could use one word to describe him/this pregnancy joruney, it would be UNFORGETTABLE! Brenda on the other hand, the only front office receptionist is the other person I would like to recognize as she was always going above and beyond her responsibilities as a receptionist. She would not only get my wife the answers she needs right away but she would spend that extra momeny to keep my wife calm when she was anxious and always had her laughing to do do so. Thank you Brenda for being an amazing person! CONS: The front office staff (everyone except for Brenda) provided the worst customer service I have ever seen. My wife was deemed a high risk pregnancy almost immediately upon getting pregnant and was put on strict bed rest in September of last year and having constantly high blood pressure since the second trimester, office visits and phone calls to the OBGYN were a frequent thing. The only person that every showed any kind of urgency or concern and didn't feel bothered by a concerned mother was Brenda. The rest of the front office staff would be extremely rude and hurtful and there definitely needs to br a change whether any of them are family or not. Besides all of that, if you can withstand his front office staff (ask for Brenda everytime;), Dr. Garcia is by far one of the best (if not the best) OBGYN(s) in El Paso and I highly recommend him to any pregnant couple! Dr. Urrea earned my trust over 10 years ago by talking me OUT of surgery on my right shoulder. Hey, any surgeon who is willing to forego surgery and advise a patient to try an alternative method is trustworthy in my book. Most are quick to cut and you get what you get. With Dr. Luis, you get a great staff (many thanks to Marty, Linda, Vanessa and the office bunch!) a terrific Physician's Assistant (the always attentive and thorough Jennifer) and the peace of mind that whatever he sets out to repair, it's done RIGHT! I was a bit hesitant to do the total knee replacement, simply because of the horror stories from folks who've had them, but once the decision was made to do it, Dr. Luis assured me that he'd do it right. Months after the surgery I feel like a young man again as I'm doing all the things that I like to do without restriction. My job was the one thing I was worried about -- sometimes there are tough physical requirements -- but I feel NO pain and with terrific (tough, but necessary) therapy sessions with Kevin Mark, I've bounced back from both scopes and from the replacement (in my opinion) better than when I walked through the door.
