David showed up on time for a quote and provided great advice during the discussion about the job scope. Tonya kept in touch with scheduling after accepting the quote and shared their business license and insurance. On the day of work, it was great to have David lead the project work. He knew exactly what needed to be done and was respectful to conflicts on my personal calendar during the day. The crew showed up around 12pm and were done around 3:30pm. Not only was the work completed efficiently but for a really good price compared to other providers. The crew also left the site clean as a whistle. I had been using another tree service over the…read morepast 10 years or so, and although they were always top-notch as far as their service, they were much more expensive - ridiculously so, I've since discovered. I won't name them because they are also very good at what they do. But I wouldn't recommend them unless price is of no importance to you. Edgar gave me an incredibly fair price to take down two large Silver Maples (approx. 40' and 50' tall) and haul away all of the debris. They were careful to not disturb our yard (which just had new sod put down this past Spring), and carefully replaced everything that they needed to move. Due to certain logistics regarding where the trees had been located, I couldn't have the stumps ground. But Edgar was able to saw the stumps down practically to ground level. I really can't say enough good things about Edgar and his crew or recommend them highly enough. They were on-time, considerate and thoughtful, attentive to detail, and highly efficient. I will be using King Tree Services from now on for all my future tree care.

Evan came out multiple times to view property and scope of work needed to be done. He gave a fair estimate and he began the project with his sub-contracted crew. Day 1 was nightmare, came home to a portion of the property almost clear cut! Evan was not on site to manage the project, he only showed up to receive payment. Found out he was not paying his crew. Needless to say, project was not completed and property looked worse than when they started. Took Evan to court and was awarded a judgement in our favor for $15,500. DO NOT use this company or any company that Evan P. Guthrie is involved with.

I spent 4 days traveling 2hrs ea way and all 4 days they both sides of them could not get on same page. The owners husband watched us start clearing a mess of a property that should have been quote more then double what that idiot quoted them. 90% of trees were either dead fell or standing and the underbrush was pretty much taken over entire 20acre lot. I would never recommend this company to due a yard cut as he has no clue what he is doing and definitely would never bother with these customers as they knew they added 50plus trees to be taken down every single day. (May be less yet they added painted parks to remove daily) they knew this guy had zero experience and bragged that by time job was done he would owe them money. Mapleton owes my company well over $12k for services rendered as he and customers were pointing out the job daily. I even endd up supply his chainsaw fuel and oils. Terrible company.
