I had two magnolias that had extensive damage from the wet snow during a snow event in January. I wasn't sure there would be much left of my beautiful magnolias after all the broken branches were removed. But...Bartlett did an amazing job. There are some obvious bare spots that should fill in eventually. So their work is amazing. I contacted Bartlett via email. I received a pretty quick reply and set up an appointment for an estimate. Todd came out and I had the estimate within a day or so. It took a little while to finalize a date to do the work. Bartlett is good, but I don't think they can control the weather. I was a little anxious when Todd said he would not be on site for the job. However, the three guys that came out were indeed "knowledgeable" as Todd had assured me. They didn't seem to have a problem with me asking questions and made sure I was happy with the final result. A short time after I received a call from the office at Bartlett to make sure things went well. Seriously, who gives that kind of customer service anymore? The price was reasonable for the quality of the work they did. Plus, at 64, neither me nor my husband were going to climb up a 30 foot magnolia to remove broken branches.

Would not recommend purchasing firewood from them. when my husband complained about the firewood his response was "at this point I'm fairly certain you're just someone who likes to complain, or is just looking to get something for free." If we are paying hundreds of dollars for a product I would think a business owner would stand behind it.

I had been using another tree service over the…read morepast 10 years or so, and although they were always top-notch as far as their service, they were much more expensive - ridiculously so, I've since discovered. I won't name them because they are also very good at what they do. But I wouldn't recommend them unless price is of no importance to you. Edgar gave me an incredibly fair price to take down two large Silver Maples (approx. 40' and 50' tall) and haul away all of the debris. They were careful to not disturb our yard (which just had new sod put down this past Spring), and carefully replaced everything that they needed to move. Due to certain logistics regarding where the trees had been located, I couldn't have the stumps ground. But Edgar was able to saw the stumps down practically to ground level. I really can't say enough good things about Edgar and his crew or recommend them highly enough. They were on-time, considerate and thoughtful, attentive to detail, and highly efficient. I will be using King Tree Services from now on for all my future tree care.

Very few companies will do that these days. While I wasn't able to proceed with the work for a number of reasons right now, I was really pleased with the attention to detail & honesty that he provided. We needed two major trees removed but the issue was they were so close and hovering over our house…read more After going through a dozen of tree cutting experts, our neighbor recommended Mike from Comprehensive Tree experts because they had the same exact issue with their tree hovering over their house. (our houses are pretty much replica since we are in the same neighborhood). We called Mike and he showed up the same day. Gave us a price and he was the lowest price of all the insured ones we got. He was very confident, service oriented, and we agreed on a time frame. He asked for two days to get the trees to be cut and removed. They were removed exactly as Mike mapped them out. Below is an image from before and after for one of the two trees. Mike will be cutting four more trees from our backyard this spring and will be our landscaping company moving forward. If you are looking to remove some trees, then make sure you find someone insured (just in case there is damage) and someone with real experience. Mike is definitely the best one we found and we highly recommend him and his company.
