This is my second time working with Green Vista, and I continue to be impressed with their service…read more What I really appreciate is how honest and upfront they are. When evaluating my trees, they clearly explained which ones needed deadwood removal and which ones were fine at the time. They also had to remove one tree from my front yard, and they took the time to explain in detail why removal was necessary. I recently worked with Rodney, and he was great about discussing the details of the job and explaining his recommendations. He is obviously very knowledgeable about trees and clearly cares deeply about his work. I especially appreciated that he was there with the crew on the day they removed the deadwood and walked me through what they were doing. Of all the companies I contacted, Green Vista also seemed to have the most appropriate equipment for the job. Several other companies weren't confident they could get their lift into my backyard. Green Vista was able to do it, and they laid down appropriate tracking and ground protection to make sure there was no damage to my lawn. In one case, I found two dead branches that weren't visible from my side of the property. Rodney and the team came back quickly and took care of them, which I really appreciated. I know I'll be using Green Vista again in the future. Their pricing is excellent considering they have a certified arborist involved, and most importantly, they genuinely seem to care about the health of the trees rather than trying to upsell you. Highly recommended.

I was so impressed that I'm already having them come back to take care of some dead limbs on one of our old oak trees. The tree is healthy, and we want to keep it that way. Early Wednesday morning they had an arborist at the house, dispatched a large crew and a massive crane. They spent 7 hours carefully removing the tree, lifting huge pieces of it over our neighbor's house (thank you, good neighbors!), ground the small and medium branches, and stacked the very large trunk sections on the street. On Thursday they picked up all of the large sections and hauled them away. By 5pm the tree was gone and contractors were able to start doing a temporary repair of the large holes in our garage roof. This was a traumatic experience that was totally unexpected. This was a seemingly healthy tree that just tipped over without warning. Anyone can imagine how it feels to have a huge tree laying on your house. The support from JL Tree's Service went a long way toward making us feel like we were making progress on getting the mess resolved. We have used JL before and always thought they did good work at a fair price. Their response here was exceptional.

I got three different estimates for the work, and NVTE was the cheapest (they were 41% cheaper than Four Brothers and WAY cheaper than Tree Techs). Also, NVTE offers a 10% military discount, so that was great of them. (Note: That's for tree removal -- Four Brothers was cheaper on pruning and stump grinding.) The estimation process was done completely without me even needing to be home, and they left the quote on my door. I then selected the items from the quote that I wanted and called to confirm an appointment date, signed the quote and sent it via email. On the day of the appointment, the guys arrived on time (which I can tell you just from the estimate Four Brothers came out to do that they ran a couple hours late, another reason I went with NVTE). Two young Hispanic guys handled everything. They fought the rain and got it all done in about five hours. I'm really pleased with the cleanup. They left minimal sawdust around, and they picked up every twig. Everything was hauled away perfectly, and they even used a blower on my driveway to get rid of sawdust remnants there. I really have no complaints other than they left a bit of the wire on my fence interior bent up and tore up some grass on the other fence entrance from dragging tree debris. Given how wet it was when they were to that phase of the job though, I see those as minor things and collateral damage for the most part. Overall, great job. If I need another tree removed, they will get my business.
