I've been to this Caribou location manyyyy times over the years. The inside is usually well kept but a bit loud. The drive thru can be backed up but the employees are so friendly. Usually my drinks are made correctly with a couple rare, unfortunate exceptions. Today's visit prompted me to reflect on my past experiences here and write a review because the service was phenomenal. The barista helped me pick out a drink for my dad and also double-checked that my order was correct and asked clarifying questions. Love it :) read more

Before leaving Target in Roseville I checked Yelp to find coffee in perhaps a place I haven't been too. Nothing interesting came up and the nearest Caribou was on Larpenter a few miles away. While turning on to Snelling I see a Caribou tucked away in a strip mall on a frontage road. Wonder why Yelp can't see this. The outside looks small but it is about the largest bou I've seen with many employees scurrying about mostly taking care of the busy drive-through. Order on one side, pick up on the other.. quick efficient, noisy busy. read more

Was informed caribou and brueggers divorced. That's a bummer. You won't know until you try and order. I had a pretty good plain bagel breakfast sandwich but it was no picture. The bacon was half raw. Here's what my caramel cooler looked like. First sip I couldn't pull any drink through because of being clogged with an ice chip. Is it just me that annoys when you're paying $5 for a drink and there's ice chunks? And the flavor was somewhat flat. Just like the whipped cream looks haha. I had the most excellent one earlier in week at a Richfield location. I got really spoiled I guess. read more

Caribou Coffee - Flat caramel cooler with ice chunks - Coffee & Tea Near Me - Roseville, Minnesota

I've been to a few caribous in my day and this one has finally blended my coffee to perfection. I don't mind ice chunks but when it comes between me and my coffee beverage because they're too big be sucked through the straw imma be a bit bitter. Well done Roseville Caribou. Staff was friendly and it wasn't a long wait at all. #TeamNoIceChunksLOL read more

Caribou Coffee - a hand holding a cup of coffee - Coffee & Tea Near Me - Roseville, Minnesota

I stopped by Caribou (Snelling Ave-Roseville) around 8am to buy a hot chocolate for my wife. I couldn't upgrade from small to medium without first doing it on the app, in spite of giving my phone number that accesses the points available on my account. Okay, fine. I arrive home to discover the hot chocolate ordered is actually a hot mocha coffee. Neither of us drink coffee, so we threw it away. Do better Caribou. read more

This place used to be my go to for hot chocolate. And then I had this. Disgusting. I'd rather wear wet socks than drink this again. If the taste description wasn't enough for you, it looks like my 12 year old dogs piss that has been on dialysis for the past 4 years. I couldn't even get him to drink it. There's enough butter in this thing to make a sculpture of Adolf hitler. The amount of people he killed is less than the amount of people this drink is going to cause to go into a depression. Drinking this is a war crime if I've ever seen one. Even Putin would be ashamed of this toxic beverage. Overall horrible experience. read more

Caribou Coffee - Gross. - Coffee & Tea Near Me - Roseville, Minnesota

Worst ever... I waited in line and all the staff did was walk back and fourth then as I was about to leave someone asked if I wanted to order. My drink was handed to me wet and dripping. YUCK read more

Caribou Coffee - Coffee & Tea Near Me - Roseville, Minnesota

Not a fan of coffee, but once in a great while I will get a craving for some ice blended mocha something or other. Had never been to this Caribou or any other location before today. Was glad to see they had a drive thru because we were way too lazy to get out and go in. I ordered a medium caramel cooler which was insanely big and sweet. The medium was huge. J ordered a small vanilla cooler which I liked a lot better in taste and size. The girl or I should say cheerleader caribou enthusiast was surprisingly chipper, and seemed to love her job which was nice to encounter. Not bad for cold, super sweet blended drinks. read more

Caribou Coffee- My addiction to you has become clear. I can't resist your delicious Cinnamon Vanilla Northern Lite iced coffee. With your perfect mixture of coffee, and flavoring, no wonder your coffee houses are so packed. i love you. that is al :) read more

I purchased a drink and muffin for my kid today. The person making sandwiches was also the cashier. The drink was made by a different person and came promptly. After waiting several more minutes and seeing the sandwich-maker/cashier make several sandwiches from prior orders, finally the sandwich-maker/cashier must've gotten to our order in the queue and took a premade blueberry out of the basket and put it into a paper bag to hand to us. How inefficient is that? At other coffee shops, items that don't require additional preparation would be handed to the customer upon ordering. read more

I hate to leave negative reviews...but over the last 6 months I haven't seen much improvement out of this specific store. The staff is always super friendly the drinks and food are always up to par. The wait times are just insane though. Looking at the multiple reviews that express the same frustration...I have to say I'm pretty shocked that whoever owns this place doesn't seem to care. How are you a profitable business owner? My guess is you probably can't afford to pay more staff because your profitability margins aren't up to par. If you don't mind waiting 20 minutes for coffee this is your place. read more

Typical Caribou. Lots of seating but SLOW service. No matter what time the service is so slow.

Thanks for giving me the wrong coffee. I guess a light roast is now a coffee with cream or milk or something in it. I always second guess going to this location. The wait is always super long and at least half the time they get my order wrong and I'm not sure how you can can a black coffee wrong. read more

Tami should work every morning. I frequent this location a few times a week and have not seen her there before. She was working super fast, knew exactly what was going on, checking on everyone's orders. I was honestly impressed. The typical staff seem to just wander around, not knowing what to do next, still half asleep, not caring how long your waiting. Maybe if Tami worked every morning we wouldnt be waiting 20 minutes for a mocha. Store needs more Tami's! read more

Well they didn't ask for my perks number when I ordered at the drive-thru so when I pulled up to pay she then told me I had a free upgrade. But, because my drink was already made she didn't want to remake it. Which I was annoyed she even told me I had the free upgrade for the day anyway if they were not even going to honor it for me... read more

I love discovering new places. Who'd have thought it would be this. I had a gift card to use up. I open the door and am shocked by the sight and great energy. It's huge, has a fireplace, and a good size meeting room. It's not a neighborhood place, yet the place was packed. Some of the nicest, friendliest staff I've seen. They really want to wait on you. For a fuller effect, I asked if I could have half the hot chocolate with half and half. No problem. I went to use the ladies room in the back. A large individual space, and they don't play stupid games and have a key to it. I also noticed in the back, there is more parking, and a drive thru. It was so cozy and warm by the fireplace, I read for 2 hours. read more

Anybody that knows me knows that I am a caribou coffee enthusiast. I truly believe it's one of the best coffee places around... screw you Starbucks your coffee tastes burnt. I think I have actually had everything on their menu... my new favorite is Hot and Cold presses with a shot of white chocolate (LOW CAL HIGH CAFFEINE)! Oh, and if you haven't had their breakfast sandwiches you are missing out. THEY ARE SO DELICIOUS, personal favorite is the egg white and turkey bacon sandwich. Everybody who works at Caribou is generally very happy and pleasant and full of good suggestions when I am attempting to try something new (not sure that is possible at this point). Though they tend to hire younger kids who seem to get stressed out when it is busy (which it typically is in the mass populated Twin Cities that I live in). I once went to the Caribou in Roseville and stood their waiting for my order for 20 minutes and they forgot one of my drinks completely before I gave up and left. That's why they don't get five stars, but I still love you Caribou! read more

Caribou you really let me down----Went through the drive-thru and really wanted a hot cup of black tea. There are many options here but you had NOTHING!!!!! not sure how you can offer iced tea but not have any tea bags or loose tea---I opted to try the iced tea and it was not even drinkable---I took a couple sips and declared it awful---it had a bitter yucky taste and all around I was just disappointed in the entire experience and wish I would have saved my money. read more

I happen to come to this Caribou more than I would like because its near both of Ci's jobs. The drive thru is painfully slow due to the Bruegger's collaboration. I just am not keen on the whole Caribou/Bruegger's Combo! What if I want a turkey bacon mini??? Why cant they keep the Caribou food items along with adding the Bruegger options or better yet, just go back to being a Caribou! Who thought of this crazy idea anyways? The drinks, Bagels, and Service are all fine once you get them. They also never have dog treats which annoys my Canine in the Car. read more

No dice. I would like to give this place 5 stars for the concept of combining a Caribou & Bruggers, BUT that's where it ends. I stopped in a few days ago to get a coffee and found out that they did not participate in the April Earth Month program. To me if you look like a Caribou, call yourself Caribou, and present yourself as a Caribou...then you're a Caribou! You should not be able to pick and choose what programs you participate in because you are not a "full on" Caribou. That just comes across as slimy as all hell. So, you will take all the benefits of Caribou, but with none of the responsibility? Sorry, I don't think so. If there is something I hate more than a bad product, which I feel Caribou doesn't have, it's a sneaky company. Reel it in Caribou Roseville...don't be slimy. Just be what you are, a Caribou location. You should offer all the pros and we will deal with cons. read more

I am a LOYAL Caribou fan and I will not visit this location again. Went in yesterday to redeem my $3 medium drink perk. Cashier on duty ended up first using my points. When I restated I wanted to use the perk she then re-rang the drink and took my money. I asked about the points going back to my account and she nodded, not making eye contact. She then walked over to her colleague and told them she only needed one of the lattes she rang up. Red flag! So I checked my points on my app and sure enough points used but not reimbursed. So she lied. Then I came back to the counter to tell her that my points were used for the drink and she scanned my account and told me that I got my points (from the purchase). So essentially trying to cover it up. So I held my ground and she finally said "we can't reimburse points here you have to call customer service"... eventually I talked to a supervisor and got it resolved- but here's the deal -- This staff person lied multiple times to cover up what I would consider an excusable mistake. In the end she charged me and took my money/points for two drinks but only gave me one. Her supervisor, while reimbursing me simultaneously brushed it off with the staff person and all their colleagues witnessed this. So be wary going to this Caribou. Apparently it's okay to steal from customers as long as you cover it up. read more

Awful service and even more disgusting coffee and food. The person working the drive through asked me what I wanted about 4 times and said oh sorry yea just wasn't listening. My coffee was completely wrong and so were our sandwiches. The bagel sandwiches weren't toasted, cheese wasn't melted, and the eggs were cold. Also, they used the wrong meat, different than what we ordered. My coffee was a lite latte and I received a raspberry latte and that is just a disgusting combo. We won't be going back. read more

This is my favorite Caribou Coffee in the Twin Cities...and believe me, I get around ;). The main reason it's my fav is the staff is super nice. And not fakey nice like the "we have some kind of corporate policy that forces us to engage the customer and make obnoxious small talk...", but most just seem like genuine people that like other people. It looks the same as most other Caribou's, but seems a lil more spacious. However sometimes it gets crowded here, esp around like finals time cos there are several colleges within 5-10 miles. I also like that this location has a drive-thru, a meeting room, & free wi fi. Two thumbs up 'bou! read more

This is one of the best Caribous in the Twin Cities. It is always clean, the service is great and the patrons are, for the most part, normal. The coffee is as good as any caribou, but not unbelievable. It would also be nice if Caribou had some menu options that weren't 99% carbohydrates (I admit this is a personal preference.) read more

Great food and drink prep but drive thru is the slowest one in town. Usually 10 min wait on average. Need to up the staff or ditch the idea of drive thru. read more

Wow. I wish I could rate the service on this place but I never got it! It's 8:30 am and the store says open but no employees were there. An extreme waste of time, for myself and many others in line. Won't catch me at this location ever again. read more

it's 3am and i'm writing this review. Stopped by this Caribou at 8pm last night and ordered a med hot tea. I was not asked what type of tea I wanted but was given a "mango hot tea" by the barista. I figured any fruit tea must be caffeine-free so I (stupidly) didn't even confirm with the server before drinking it. You can see where this is going. I very rarely consume a caffeinated drink and definitely wouldn't in the evening. It's now 3am and I've only gotten a little sleep. I just confirmed at Caribou's website that their mango tea is caffeinated, which my body figured out on its own about 3 hours ago. I've learned my lesson but I'm giving this place 2 stars for serving caffeinated tea without asking the customer. (The order taker was probably inexperienced but he might have deduced that I didn't want caffeine. Hot tea was my second choice after he told me they didn't have decaf coffee brewed.) read more

I am a dedicated Caribou enthusiast. That being said, the following expectations were not met on three separate occasions over the last two weeks: 1) Please and Thank You were not said by the employee that assisted me. You are a representative of a company you chose to work for that is taking my money, the very minimum you can do is say Thank You. Your customer pays your paycheck, not your company. 2) I paid in cash, so I received change. You DO NOT hand bills with change on top of them to your customer, it is RUDE. Cash handling 101 - coins first, THEN bills. This ensures the customer does not drop the coins. 3) Speed of service. I did not order food, just a beverage each time. It should not take more than seven minutes, from entrance to exit, on a typical visit for beverage-only orders (including peak times). I left after 20 minutes with a watered down drink because it sat on the counter with no callout once; slow service only for the other two visits. 4) I disagree with other people complaining about the parking - this is not this location's fault. It is set on a service road that is already hard to navigate. This is their only saving grace. Suggestions for improvement: customer service 101, cash handling 101, time management and leadership skills development. I don't believe this location is a lost cause, just lost. Hoping it gets better in the future, because unless I absolutely have to, I will not be back. read more

Tried this place again for convenience and sat in the slowest line of all time. The service here is the worst I have ever experienced for coffee. Do not stop here. You can drive an extra 3 min to Starbucks or Dunn Brothers and get through their line 3 times over. read more

This place may have a lot of tables but it's also filled with a lot of people as well. The nearby schools fills this place with students cramming for their next exam. There were signs on both the front door and drive through speaker that said " open at 7am." However they turned on the "Open" neon sign above the front door. It was 6:15am. Please fix this Caribou! I just waited 15 minutes in the drive thru only to have the cashier over charge me (said he couldn't fix it) and then half way home I realized that I was given the wrong drink. Reminds me why I always go to the Starbucks even though I prefer Caribou's coffee. read more

I used to love coming here but something has changed over the past year. Inconsistent tastes to the drinks, they often get my order wrong in the drive thru and today I ordered a large drink and it's 1/3 empty. Something needs to improve quick or they are losing my business. read more

Caribou Coffee - Coffee & Tea Near Me - Roseville, Minnesota

I love Caribou Coffee! If given the option I would choose it over most all chains. However, I've been working in Roseville for almost a year now and have been frequenting this location every morning for my caffeine fix and the service is just quite dismal. My order is almost never correct, the lines are long and there seems to be someone new training every single morning. I'm currently sipping on a Cold Press which tastes like has a half a cup of dark chocolate in it when I asked for a half a shot. I need to find a different location or heaven for bid I become a Starbucks gal :-/. read more

If you want an expertly crafted drink and truly acceptable bagel, this is your place. If you want it in ten minutes or less, it is not. Everyone is friendly, and they don't make a lot of mistakes, but they are SUPER slow. Even drive thru coffee is a 20 minute commitment. read more
