I have a love hate thing going on with this restaurant. The food is good and the portion sizes are great. Oxtail: is always good and full of flavor, it worth the price. Stew Peas: it was my favorite, but once they started putting chicken foot in it, I had to walk away. It's so flavorful and delicious, but I spend more time picking out the chicken foot than enjoying my meal. Curry Chicken: delicious and full of flavor. Fried Chicken: not a fan. It had great flavor, but it was just dry. They have a good variety of salads to go with your meal, they're all good especially the macaroni salad ($1 extra charge), but I miss the days when they served it in a separate piece of foil.

Family oriented style Caribbean food with your favorite rice and peas, white rice, jerk chicken, oxtail, and daily specials. Great portions and they always let you get oxtail gravy on your jerk chicken. Gets busy and hot inside, but the food never disappoints.

This spot is open late so we decided to give them a try. There were a ton of locals inside ordering so that looked promising. We ordered jerk chicken, fried chicken, stew chicken, mac salad, rice and beans, plantains and pasta too. Everything was a little under $40. We also ordered fruit punch and pineapple ginger juice which were both very good, the juices were my favorite things here. I loved the mild spice of the jerk chicken and it was very tender. The mac salad was average but added a nice tang to the meal. Everything was very tender but on the mild tasting side. There were no overpowering flavors. I also wished the plantains were softer and sweeter. They were dry and bland. We were waiting for our food but it turns out they never made it, so we had to check with them and had to wait much longer.

Disappointed! use to be my go to spot for down home Caribbean food. It seems they're taking shortcuts. I bought curry chicken, white rice, salad and cow foot, rice and peas, salad. The rice from both items were sweet , not as in coconut milk flavor, just sweet as in sugar! Meat items lacking in flavor, if it wasn't for the consistency of the protein, I would think they were the same meats. For these prices, please do better!

Place is near job. The oxtail, rice and peas, lo mein and curry shrimp are my go to. I've been eating here for years. There's no seating it's only to go

Oxtail ,MAC and Cheese, Cole saw.As West Indians call Mac cheese, Pie . The Pie is Delicious 5 star minus the lady with attitude

Pretty cool west-Indian/Jamaican spot in the multi-cultural section of Flatbush ,Brooklyn. the mac and cheese is delicious . I had mac and cheese as west Indians called it "pie" ( depending on which island, some of the islands have different dialects and pronunciations ) and I had oxtail and Cole saw. the food was great I see why the lines are always long when I'm passing by the neighborhood . I'll definitely would come back here in a heart beat . I would have gave this place a five star but the lady who called my number to pick up my food after I order (chubby light skin lady ) I told her "thank you' she didn't reply back and say "you welcome" she just turn her back to me . the lady at the cashier she was pretty friendly . otherwise everything is fine I'll definitely love this place !!!! very convenient by the mta transportation : subway : 2,5-Train . Church Avenue Train station . bus: B35,B44,B49 ,etc

We ordered take out from heat today and were very disappointed. My stew chicken was way too sweet and the rice and peas were dry with Very few peas. My son had pineapple chicken which was also too sweet. My Dad had the Curry goat and commented it was dry and disappointing as well. I do not recommend it...save your money

It's a good choice for coffee, snacks, but also fennel, vegan food, kimchi, or eucalyptus cuttings (and, like many small grocery stores, some things are better deals than others). Importantly for the neighborhood, Bad Wife also sell live plants and flowers at very reasonable prices. In the spring and summer, they'll often have flowering plants available. I've always had great interactions with the staff here, and am a fan of the place.

Mrs. Lee refused to accept the return. She referred to a sign that read, plants are not returnable. That particular sign was displayed at at the back of the plant section, on a high shelf. Interestingly enough, at the cash register, there is a sign that states, "Refund policy provided within 2 days receipt." It is mandatory for stores to visibly display their return policy at the cash register. 'The Bad Wife' failed to do so. Mrs. Lee's attitude was rude and dismissive despite being told return policies must be clearly visible by the cash register.

Almost all of their ingredients come from their motherland, so it is authentically made. There's the soft kunafa, sheep ghee, sheep cheese, and pistachio.... And Mohammed, the owner, takes pride in that and how he makes it. He makes sure all his customers are given a somewhat close experience to how it's like im the motherland. And speaking of that, being inside of Nuthut personally warms my heart because of all the beautiful Palestinian art and touches of the culture. All the staff members that I have encountered have been nothing but kind and soooo helpful whenever I have a question or am curious about something. If you're lucky enough to catch them on the day they make their batch, you can watch them make their house blend on the roaster. It is a cool process to watch especially since their house blend uniquely has 5 different beans!!! So all coffee lovers, I mean true ones... if you need a locally owned wholesale coffee provider, this is where you should go.
