I totally meant to order from Doc's but got this place instead. Positives : - rice and peas pretty good - cabbage pretty good too - wife really liked the jerk shrimp Negatives: - oxtail was just OK to me - and very expensive - beef patty had very little beef in the filling Overall - solid, place. I'll try it again someday. Maybe. read more

A nice break from the ordinary. I've been to Jamaica half a dozen times but I don't remember the food being this good. Their spicy Jerk flavor saturates the Chicken and Pork, and even finds its way into the rice and beans, probably from the natural gravy from the meats. (I'm not sure God meant for tails to be eaten, but they can be avoided). A little over $20 for the Large Jerk Chicken and Ting, but it's good snacking on the next day. read more

This is a small little place with a ton of flavor. The jerk chicken was fantastic. You can taste the flame on the skin and the plantains were MONEY. My wife and I got jerk chicken/jerk ribs. The jerk chicken was light years better than the ribs, but the ribs were still very good. The rice and cabbage were a great touch to the meal. Spent 30 bucks to feed me, wife and French fries for the toddler. Very happy that this place is here and wish them success for many years. read more

This is my second time eating at this establishment. Let me just say the food is so delicious and proportion was a good size both times!

5 star! My husband and I was greeted when we walked through the door. I got the large oxtail w/ white rice, cabbage, and extra gravy. Everything was delicious. The seasoning is soooo good. My husband who isn't an oxtail person even enjoyed it. My husband got the jerk chicken and it was smoked flavor was also really good. Beef patty was sooo tasty. Can't wait to return read more

Lol just called to place and order and was told they "are out of jerk chicken and it will be a while before they get it back". What does that even mean? That is literally your number 1 dish - and you don't have it? This place just opened. Guess they might as well shut it down already. How ridiculous! Edit/update - Patria, I wish you all would have explained that on the phone! The way he worded it sounded like you all did not know when you would even have more to offer. I could have waited the 20 minutes happily! read more

Caribbean Kitchen - Jerk pork, rice and peas, slaw, plantains and a spicy beef patty. All great! - Caribbean Near Me - Fort Worth, Texas

We needed a restaurant like this in the area. When you enter the restaurant you are greeted by nice staff and good music. My wife and I ordered oxtail tails, jerk chicken, and potato salad. The oxtails 7/10. They were small , not tender and lacked spices. Now, the jerk chicken 10/10. Order you will not be disappointed. The potato salad 8/10. The negative is that I wanted 50 minutes for my food. With this being a new restaurant, hopefully, this will change. We will definitely go back just during the week. read more

Caribbean Kitchen - Large jerk chicken. Comes with rice 'n beans, slaw and plantains. - Caribbean Near Me - Fort Worth, Texas

My husband and I were excited to find out that we had a new Caribbean restaurant in town. My husband is from Belize and was craving some Caribbean style rice and beans. The restaurant is small with yellow walls and music playing. There are 6 or so booth style tables that you can sit at while you wait for your food. We ordered at the counter and they call you when the food is ready. The rice and beans here did not disappoint. We ordered jerk pork and stew chicken. I ordered the small and my husband selected the large size. We were both happy with our meals. The portion sizes are great for the price. We were hoping to order some potato salad to go with our meal but they were sold out when we visited the store. We are both curious to see if the potato salad is made with salad cream like we are used to. Maybe next time. One thing to note is that the wait time can be long for the food. Since the restaurant is new, it seems like they are still working through some kinks. They were actually turning people away because it was too busy on a Wednesday evening. It took 40 minutes or so to receive our food. The owner apologized for the long wait time and mentioned that they had just opened. The food was excellent though and well worth the wait. We will definitely go back. read more

Brand new restaurant- I'd say they're going to do fantastic!! Great location, friendly service, and fantastic food!! And- being as how there is nothing like this in this area- wow! I'll be there every week! I had the jerk pork that was out of this world- with w but if a barbecue taste to it- and then the spice hits you at the end... and on a scale of 1-10 I'd say a spice level of a 5-6. Enough to be great tasting but not overpowering! The rice and veggies were equally as tasty! I tasted the stewed chicken- yah/ melt of the bone.... Oxtails I got to go .... But I already know they're going to be great! Dine in or take out - it's a win win!! read more

I've been waiting for a Jamaican restaurant to open in the area for awhile, so I was absolutely stoked to find out one just opened on N Beach. I rolled into Caribbean Kitchen with my wife, and we ordered a small oxtail plate and a small curry goat plate. Each plate came with sides of cabbage and rice & peas. The orders were ready quite quickly, surprisingly. Both plates were great, lots of flavor, served hot and good portions for the price. Thank you Caribbean Kitchen, we'll be back soon! read more

When you move to Texas, you learn to live with some hard truths when it comes to food. You will never taste another real cheesesteak sub, the seafood and crab cakes will be mid at best and Jamacian food... have a great time driving all the way to Dallas and trying each expensive location for maybe ok Jamacian food. But wait!!! This place is close to me, semi reasonable price wise and my only complaint is the cabbage is spicy. Welp, that's what this place is. A spicy piece of North Philly Jamacian food. Great customer service great food... I'm obsessed read more

The ambiance is very nostalgic of an authentic Jamaican restaurant. Staff is friendly and food is fantastic.

The jerk chicken peas and rice, cabbage is delicious! I give them a 2 for the oxtail the seasoning was really good but the oxtail was terrible, wasn't tender at all, extremely tough!!! The oxtail was a waste of money, I couldn't eat them!!! The curry chicken is good as well! Coco bread is good also & the patty's are delicious!!! I recommend jerk chicken, curry chicken and patty's!!! read more

Excellent food! My favorite is their oxtails & chicken curry. I usually go once a week for lunch.

Pretty great food and music. The wait was also super short. I will definitely be returning!

Nothing is better than going to a family owned restaurant that feels like home! An older gentleman took my order & was extremely helpful & friendly! I ordered two Beef Patties & the large Oxtail with rice & cabbage & a side of plantains. The flavor of everything blew my mind, the perfect amount of spice in the beef patty. The plantains were a perfect add on the side because two is just not enough in the plate they already serve. I would of taken a pic of it all but the food was already eaten up. I definitely recommend if you are a foodie & enjoy all culture cuisine. Hands down added to my favorite restaurant list! read more
