From beginning till now there have been issues with this company and it is reaching the point of…read moreexhaustion for me. the initial items outlined during the first week of move in were never done, DDP didn't even attempt to try and fix the broken items and since my time in their slumproperty I've come to discover that this unit has foundation issues likely exposing me to lead paint poisoning--which DDP refused to disclose to me until I insisted on the information, and is illegal for a RE agent to withhold-- additionally every appliance is in poor working order that continues to get worse after only a few months, the neighbors are far too loud, the unsanitary conditions by the surrounding premises puts at risk of disease, the dishwasher doesnt work, the staff are lazy and totally unresponsive, DDP lied about several items I explicitly asked about prior to signing a lease, and they also imposed unduly hidden fees which were never disclosed prior. I'm so livid about the level of deception from this property management company it's hard to even put into words. but I hope someone else can read this review before making the same mistake I did because the only thing Desert Dimension Properties can provide is apparently deceptive contracts and try to take advantage of people's money.

However, from 2021 to 2025 they went through four different managers. I would have one person, everything would seem to be going well and then abruptly they'd tell me someone else was being assigned. In 2025, I was again assigned a new manager, Andrea R. and communication significantly declined in comparison to other property managers I had been assigned. Emails would often go unanswered for long periods of time. Everything fell apart during a tenant move-out at the end of 2025. Before the tenant moved out, I provided the original lease and deposit records to Andrea so there would be no confusion. During the scheduled move-out, the assigned manager was unavailable, and the person who performed the move-out inspection took not one photo. I had to step in myself after tenant departure to take move-out condition photos because Fort Lowell staff didn't do it. The departing tenant was instructed to leave the keys unsecured in the mailbox after 5:30pm, which was very concerning because they didn't set up a lockbox for the tenant to securely leave the keys after the inspection. In addition to all of this, they issued a security deposit refund using rents from another unit to the tenant before fully reviewing damages. Keep in mind I held the deposits, but they did not consult me or provide me with the breakdown and obtain my authorization before refunding the money that I should have provided from the deposit account not use rents from another unit's tenant. To make matters completely insanely worse, the refund included money that had already been returned years earlier to a prior co-tenant! After I began formally requesting proper documentation and correction of the accounting, communication became worse. I sent a written notice under the contract giving them nearly a month to fix the issues. The problems were not fully corrected. After I terminated the agreement with proper 30-day notice, communication completely stopped, they did not follow up with me with requested documentation and stopped responding to my other unit's tenant they were still managing in this timeframe. I have still not received the complete documentation or the remaining funds in my owner account. I also later discovered that another tenant had gone six months without a properly executed lease renewal, and I was never informed. As a landlord, you need clear communication, accurate accounting, and proper handling of deposits. In my experience, those basic protections were not consistently in place. In addition, Fort Lowell's team is extremely unprofessional, completely ignoring clients, being condescending, and just displaying levels of incompetence I didn't know could exist. If you're a property owner, I would not recommend you use Fort Lowell. In fact, RUN!

After applying for the property, she spoke with our references and immediately sent us a lease to sign. On that lease, the security deposit was more than what she told us, there was no outline of the utilities breakdown, a weird section calling out my husband's employment. We asked for clarity to which she responded "we will not be responding." And then she never answered a call, email or text again. Completely inappropriate and unprofessional.

This was completely dishonest and excessive. She charged for cleaning of curtains because they had dog hair on them. Well when you allow 2 dogs to reside, sometimes there is dog hair after 3 ys. she charged for the screen. She said a cabinet in the bathroom was broke....this was a blatant lie. She said paint needed touching up. The house needed to be painted when i moved in which I have pictures of. She kept a $300.00 cleaning fee which i agreed to but that was not enough for her. I warn anyone who considers renting from her. not to. Really sad that people like her continue get away with this conduct. A real shame. Pls do not ever rent from her. You will be sorry like me. Leasing office (at least at my property - "Lucia on 15th" on Osborn) is unbearable to work with. They give an attitude over any little thing even if it is their fault. No notice for maintenance people they randomly decide to hire to fix something. They will just show up banging on your door demanding to be let in. Final straw was being locked out in the middle of the night for over 3 hours because "somehow" the electronic lock code to my door was changed. So the landlord essentially changed my lock, locked me out of my property, and had no emergency line or anyone to call. Good luck if there is a more serious emergency like a flood! Had to get an emergency locksmith for $200. You would think after illegally blocking me from my apartment they would be reimbursing me for the locksmith right? Nope! They have now decided to ignore all my calls and emails and refuse to explain how any of this happened. For $2,500 a month there are MUCH better places in the area. Look elsewhere!

Here you will find both and then some. Living at a property from Tom and Shannon feels like you have your own home. The spaces are well designed and thoughtful. It is the best "apartment" living I've ever had. They are so communicative which makes for a pleasant renting experience. They are always so welcoming when anyone moves into the community. If you are lucky enough to live at one of their properties, I'm certain you will find it to be the most pleasant renting experience. I can't say enough good things about living here.
