The young man at the register was nice and was trying to figure it out before he had to call for help. When his manager came, he too was nice about trying to figure out the issue as well. We finally found out what the issue was. Since they didn't sell that item in the store, it couldn't be returned there. Makes sense. He told me to maybe try the one further down Qns Blvd and they apologized for the issue (which wasn't their fault).

So you have to ask for a store associate to help you unlock the items you want. The positive side to that's is that there seems to be more room in the aisles now. There's also a phamarcy here and I believe they are either open late or they are 24 hours just like the store. Pretty tycpical CVS otherwise as far as what's available. After pulling up the order, the employee found one item and then starting conversing with the female employee, clearly personal holiday related conversation. My wife told the employee, the order has these additional items, to which the employee retrieved one more then continued with his personal conversation. Again, reminded there are more items on the order then he retrieved one more item and then promptly ignored us again. This continued until he couldn't find an item then walked away, stating he couldn't find it. He then got dressed with street clothes and walked out the store. This degree of rudeness, flippant and inconsiderate behavior just seems unacceptable for a professional retail operation.

Now, I come here once a year for vaccines but what's the point of an appointment? I scheduled an appointment but had to wait almost an hour. The cashier had to wait for an eternity for the register to unexpectedly reboot and stated she cannot open the other two registers but moved me walking to the self-service check-out register to ring-up. In my employment history, I had worked in two (2) retail brick and mortar store businesses and there is always one register that is closed because there is no cash intentionally, but during the holidays this register functions designated for credit/debit cards only payment intended to alleviate the long queuing line surrounding the cash wrap for customer efficient movement flow. Customer service used to be a strong point here, but now it feels like an afterthought. Simple questions or requests are sometimes met with impatience or lack of professionalism, which shouldn't be the case in a customer-facing environment. Corporate really needs to take a closer look at what's happening in these stores and consider implementing better customer service training. A more positive and respectful approach would go a long way in improving the overall experience.

They did have some different deals and a few items that I couldn't find at other stores, which was a nice surprise and definitely a plus. The biggest issue was the self checkout. It kept glitching and messing up during the transaction which made the entire process very frustrating. It would have been faster to just have a cashier step in and handle it all.
