I wasn't there to do a long session, so I got a couple tasters, one including Peche Mortal and the other a NEIPA. Two very different styles and both extremely well done. Beyond that, the space had a very old-fashioned look. Really nice wooden fixtures and a very warm, welcoming vibe. The server was also attentive and friendly, but also knew when to let people sit back and enjoy their drinks. You probably don't need me to tell you, but yes, you should go.

However they've got kegs outside with flags so you know instantly where you are going. They have a rotation of beer year round and everything is sold in growlers (those old fashion moonshine bottles you see on cowboy movies) or by the can. I believe you get a discount if you return your growlers for your next refill. They sell cans individually, by four or even by the case. The girl behind the bar/counter offered the gentleman before me samplers of certain beers as they weren't sure what to buy. I was on a mission and knew what I was coming for. The man behind me pre ordered by phone to get his growlers filled so the wait would be a little less for him. Nice set up, prices are out and easily visible and the staff is really nice. She French but the moment I used an English word as I forgot the French word she switched the English. That's always really nice to know that's an option.

Atmosphere/Appearance: The entrance is kinda off the beaten path and the restaurant is located under what looks like some sort of laboratory. There's exposed copper ventilation pipes, exposed warm lightbulbs, raw concrete, wood and quite a few places to sit. I sat at the bar on the metal chairs like all pros do! But off to the side is a set of stairs which leads down to the ACTUAL BREWERY where all of the beer is made! I loved that there were windows in which you could look out of to see the giant vats. Really cool. Service: Dany at the bar took excellent care of me and there was nothing more I could've asked of him. He was attentive, fun and made sure I enjoyed my time there. Food/Drinks: First up I started with their Brew Juice, a beer made right in-house. It was their "beer smoothie". It was sweet, filling, thick, sour and crazy flavorful! Tasted nothing like a beer at all. My first appetizer was the Bacon Jerky which is thick-cut bacon in a beer maple glaze, chili seasonings, sesame seeds and green onions. It was mildly sweet, salty, savory, thick, tender and really, really good and not what I was expecting given the name. My 2nd beer was the Double Goose. This one was deliciously sour, gentle, not too sweet at all or harsh. For my entree I went with their special that was written in chalk on the board! I was the Sandwich of Duck & Lamb. The salad on the side was GREAT! Good bitter greens with rich, robust dressing. The chips the sandwich also came with were seasoned well and had an excellent spicy mayo dipping sauce. Sandwich was GREAT as well! Bread was softer than expected. Rich, buttery flavor. The 2 meats were light and worked well together. The sandwich is called "Sandwich Au Lapin De Cannard", but "lapin" translates to rabbit. Warm, cheesy, comforting, filling. Lil' cajun flavor. Caught a bone or 2 while eating it. It happens. Value: It's a brewery that actually serves food and that's always a plus! All prices are in $CAD. My first 12 oz. beer was $8.75. My 2nd one was $9.00. The bacon jerky was $10.00 and the sandwich with salad and chips was $26.00. Extremely reasonable if you ask me. In conclusion, I really enjoyed my time here at Pub BreWskey and I would surely pay this place another visit. Beers rotate all the time so what I had may not even be around by the time you visit. We had a great server named Julie (attentive and friendly). To eat we had the maple chicken sandwich with barbecue fries and tempura shrimp with Parmesan fries. My mother really enjoyed her shrimp and my sandwich was incredible!! The Parmesan fries were finger licking good. My mom really enjoyed the craft beer she got as well. On this day there was a live performer (singing and playing the guitar) we had such a good time. On our second day here I ate the same burger but had the Parmesan fries instead (I like them way better than the barbecue ones) and my mother opted for a chicken pesto wrap.
