Blue cheese and mushroom burger

Must have the blue cheese burger and black bridge beer. Generous portions, no tax, welcoming atmosphere with phenomenal service. Now that everything is open we're probably going here every Friday, if it was closer to Vaudreuil I would be here daily for that burger! Just yeah!!

Menu April 14. Joseph is expanding the menu as we speak.

Not only did they have both but they were some of the best I have had. The 20 - Somnia Extererri Mango smoothy sour was so rich sweet and sour that it reminded me of a tropical cocktail but I would rather this one. No notes. The 6 - Above the Nuage hazy IPA and the 10 - Commutatio hazy IPA were both super hazy and fruity that you couldnt see even through the sample. It was complex and bright. Just what I look for in hazies. The seating was amazing too. Plenty of varied seating from long couches that could hold big groups, to picnic benches, and even a few single seating on the side. Even with the heat, the trees blocked out most of the sun so it was always a good tempurature without needing unbrellas The line would go from a few people to out the door quickly but they went through them pretty fast. When there arent many people (and depending on the bartender) they give samples which was how we got to find some of these great ones, but when its long they tend to shy away from samples so wait for it to calm down if you want some. I hope I can come back to Montreal again some time to come back to this one. I will miss it and recomend it to anyone visiting.

Working in Montreal for the week and while hunting around for dinner I did my usual Yelp'ing! I…read morediscovered Pub BreWskey near my hotel so I decided to check it out! Here's how it went... Atmosphere/Appearance: The entrance is kinda off the beaten path and the restaurant is located under what looks like some sort of laboratory. Once down the stairs you're greeted by what feels like an underground speakeasy vibes! There's exposed copper ventilation pipes, exposed warm lightbulbs, raw concrete, wood and quite a few places to sit. I sat at the bar on the metal chairs like all pros do! But off to the side is a set of stairs which leads down to the ACTUAL BREWERY where all of the beer is made! I loved that there were windows in which you could look out of to see the giant vats. Really cool. Service: Dany at the bar took excellent care of me and there was nothing more I could've asked of him. He was attentive, fun and made sure I enjoyed my time there. Food/Drinks: First up I started with their Brew Juice, a beer made right in-house. It was their "beer smoothie". It was sweet, filling, thick, sour and crazy flavorful! Tasted nothing like a beer at all. My first appetizer was the Bacon Jerky which is thick-cut bacon in a beer maple glaze, chili seasonings, sesame seeds and green onions. It was mildly sweet, salty, savory, thick, tender and really, really good and not what I was expecting given the name. My 2nd beer was the Double Goose. This one was deliciously sour, gentle, not too sweet at all or harsh. For my entree I went with their special that was written in chalk on the board! I was the Sandwich of Duck & Lamb. The salad on the side was GREAT! Good bitter greens with rich, robust dressing. The chips the sandwich also came with were seasoned well and had an excellent spicy mayo dipping sauce. Sandwich was GREAT as well! Bread was softer than expected. Rich, buttery flavor. The 2 meats were light and worked well together. The sandwich is called "Sandwich Au Lapin De Cannard", but "lapin" translates to rabbit. Warm, cheesy, comforting, filling. Lil' cajun flavor. Caught a bone or 2 while eating it. It happens. Value: It's a brewery that actually serves food and that's always a plus! All prices are in $CAD. My first 12 oz. beer was $8.75. My 2nd one was $9.00. The bacon jerky was $10.00 and the sandwich with salad and chips was $26.00. Extremely reasonable if you ask me. In conclusion, I really enjoyed my time here at Pub BreWskey and I would surely pay this place another visit. Beers rotate all the time so what I had may not even be around by the time you visit. Same goes for the specials on the chalkboard! Thank you for reading and supporting local businesses.

Very large spot with outdoor seating. Large selection of beers and their Poutine was sooo good!…read more I would come back just for the Radler Orange & Calamansi. Located right in Old Montreal, a few blocks away of the Basilica, the waterfront, and the La Grande Roue de Montreal.

It's a cozy spot, but there is ample space provided if you have a large group. (There are quite a few TVs but it doesn't feel like they take over the space. There is also space for live music!) I didn't want to leave feeling overstuffed so I got the garden salad with chicken and it was so, so good. The seasoning on the juicy chicken is delicious, the greens and tomatoes were fresh, and the Parmesan shavings were exactly what I wanted. It was filling and a healthier pub option. The service itself was great. With so many other patrons, there wasn't a single moment where we felt like we had been forgotten and the waitress was extremely nice. My partner had a chicken sub which he really liked. I had a bite just to taste it and it was hard not to eat the whole thing. It was equally hard for me to not try their pasta but I might get that next time. I'm always aware of how much my meal contributes to the final bill, but I believe this salad was $13 before I added the $6 chicken. For the portion size and how tasty it is, I'm not complaining. Overall, it was a really nice experience. It's a great place to meet up with friends for a cozy dining experience that is still casual. I will definitely go back in the future.

Enjoyed our burgers and pizza. We do pick up. Phone in orders is better then online. Close to home.read more

The beer itself was pretty decent with a good variety and even some interesting ones like the apricot beer. It's a huge space but good luck finding a table if you're a big group, it's like musical chairs but way more stressful. If you wanna visit I highly recommend off peak hours as it's generally more relax and you will actually enjoy getting drinks with your friends. But the downside of that is they stop serving food around 9:30pm but they do allow outside food which is a big plus in my opinion. I ordered the st-henri pizza and even though it took 40 minutes to get, it wasn't bad. I do think the state of the pizza's vary quite a lot though, some of my friends pizzas were just burnt. So the inconsistency there is a bit annoying but again, since you can bring in outside food, might as well just bring something you will wanna eat. Staff is great, friendly and helpful. Not at all a bad place to go but really depends when you go. I wouldn't go out of my way to visit but when you're in the area, it's the place to be.
