    A flight of beer

Really great spot if you like beer! A big selection and honestly, just a great place to sit back and hang out with friends. A really good vibe. I only wish my girl Kylie was there. She would have liked it.

Great drink selection and poutine. Loved the atmosphere and the service was great too.

    Flight of beers. Highly recommend.

I love the "Main" aka St. Laurent Street. While driving to Fairmount Bagels I saw a restaurant called "Siboire". In Québec profanities are mostly objects or symbols in the Catholic Church. Siboire means the table in the church where they put the chalice, ostie, criss Tabarnak Siboire or ciboire is the place to put the ostie! As to the food, this is a very nice pub. None of the food is healthy, but sometimes you need some grease. It's also very good grease. I had a flight of 6 draft beers. All good. One was a sour beer. At first I was scared if it. With each sip I said to myself this is weird. This is strange. Then this is good. Now I kinda like it. I really like that the fish and chips can include three different kinds of fish. Cod, haddock and salmon. Even more impressive was the bun on my fish sandwich. The outside was crispy and the inside soft and colored red! Amazing bun. The servers are nice, it has a small coed bathroom that lets the ladies have a peek at guys trying to be firemen! I highly recommend, tabarnak, ostie cross Siboire!

Holy shit! Get the gnocchi dish before they stop serving it! It is meaty, salty, cozy, and creative.

Came here with my cousin for dinner. I don't drink beer so I got an ice tea. This place gets pretty busy, I had to wait for a table for maybe 20 minutes on a Tuesday night. Other than that, I had no issues with the service. I ordered the poutine with popcorn chicken on top and honestly, I should not have. The portions are ginormous. You could easily share one portion at two. Even the regular poutine my cousin could not finish. It was pretty good but the sauce was a bit different and after eating for a while it felt off. I still think it's worth getting but it's not the best poutine.

Nice spot to go with friends who like beer and varied menu. Tried the turbot burger, tasty! The lemonade whisky was very sweet, didn't taste like alcohol. Otherwise, after a few hours our throats were tired because it was quite loud with music and talking!

We wanted somewhere to have a beer (preferably local) and maybe a bite and we were happy to stumble upon this place. The ambiance is really nice and modern looking, there are bike parts used for decorations in some very creative ways. I had a local stout while my wife had a cider from a can, both were good. We ordered the three cheese pizza and fries which came with smoky mayo to share, the fries were fresh and the pizza was very good with an amazing crust, we had low expectations for the food but were pleasantly surprised. This is a cool spot, very spacious and a good place to have a drink I recommend it!

I'm not a huge beer fan but we decided to try this place out . Loved the decorations around the whole brassiere. Nachos were good , poutine not so much so would definitely skip and try something else. The waitress was so nice however she was the only one in our section so she would interrupt our ordering to run to another table and come back to continue the ordering ( which is odd but fine). I'm happy they had choices of drinks for people who didn't drink beer ( whiskey lemonade 10/10). We did have a few Americans with us and there wasn't an English menu, but the waitress and I helped with the translations as much as possible

I'm always down to try new places and Siboire is one of the newest! We came around 8:00pm on a Tuesday evening and were able to grab a table in the corner near one of the window areas. The inside is quite spacious but it was packed given it was a weekday. Their decor is interesting; I looked up and spotted part of a Bixi frame being used to hold up some light fixtures. Couldn't figure out if their logo is a partial B or a little b (or an upside down inverted R according to Cbear). Definitely not the last one. Their hours are impressive! If they actually stay open till 3:00am everyday, props. Gotta love Montreal! Two beer prices (cup is $4.78 and pint is $6.52). They had beer flights ($11.52 for 6 four ounce samples) on the menu but it wasn't available yet when we went. Boo. There's a couple standard flavours and two new/rotating ones. - Trip d'automne III - triple Belgium beer. - Brett a Brett - this one was a bit floral and lighter compared to CBear's trip d'automne. - Ingénieuse - Irish red ale - BleuAle - supposed to be a "sour" beer but my taste buds didn't detect the slightest bit of sourness. They added a few real blueberries in my pint, a nice touch. Overall, I wasn't too dazzled by the beers themselves. I'd expect more flavour/depth from a microbrewery but these left me wanting more. Didn't have that cozy Montreal bar charm either.

I think Siboire is one, if not my top, favorite bar in Montreal. Their beer choices are excellent. I'm a huge fan of the oatmeal stout and blueberry ale. The outmeal stout in particular is so incredibly smooth, it's scary how much I can drink of this. The blueberry ale is a special ale they have on and off regularly I believe. It's nice drink to break up between my regular choices. The IPAs are also very good from what my friends say. For some reason they will only do growlers to take home for certain drinks. Annoying but maybe there's a reason. The food is pretty good too. Nacho plates are good for groups. I like their chicken wings. It's a bit pricy though, can't recommend eating here for substance. The place can be super packed after 5pm at any given time. They have a back room for large parties which is nice. But always expect a line, it's easier to just sit at the bar alone. Service is always friendly too, if not a little slow at times but its reliant on the amount of people of course. They seem to have a large crew on hand when necessary.

I was watching this place for a while since its on my bike route and close to my house. Now that the huge lines of the first 1-2 weeks are gone I decided to visit with some friends. 1. Getting in and finding a place - easy. Much easier than Dieu Du Ciel (DDC, which is just across) 2. Beer selection. Not huge BUT good spread of styles, not as big or adventurous as DDC yet very nice and the beer is good. 3. Price around 4$ a glass or 6$ a pint. Descent for a micro-brew. 4. Noise - not bad. We had a nice conversation and a good time. Small issues : no out room setting and I was disappointed they dont sell bottles to bring home. This was just added to the list of close to home pubs which I will visit a lot this summer.

The beer is good at this place, the food not so much. The fish tacos were not great. F

Working in Montreal for the week and while hunting around for dinner I did my usual Yelp'ing! I…read morediscovered Pub BreWskey near my hotel so I decided to check it out! Here's how it went... Atmosphere/Appearance: The entrance is kinda off the beaten path and the restaurant is located under what looks like some sort of laboratory. Once down the stairs you're greeted by what feels like an underground speakeasy vibes! There's exposed copper ventilation pipes, exposed warm lightbulbs, raw concrete, wood and quite a few places to sit. I sat at the bar on the metal chairs like all pros do! But off to the side is a set of stairs which leads down to the ACTUAL BREWERY where all of the beer is made! I loved that there were windows in which you could look out of to see the giant vats. Really cool. Service: Dany at the bar took excellent care of me and there was nothing more I could've asked of him. He was attentive, fun and made sure I enjoyed my time there. Food/Drinks: First up I started with their Brew Juice, a beer made right in-house. It was their "beer smoothie". It was sweet, filling, thick, sour and crazy flavorful! Tasted nothing like a beer at all. My first appetizer was the Bacon Jerky which is thick-cut bacon in a beer maple glaze, chili seasonings, sesame seeds and green onions. It was mildly sweet, salty, savory, thick, tender and really, really good and not what I was expecting given the name. My 2nd beer was the Double Goose. This one was deliciously sour, gentle, not too sweet at all or harsh. For my entree I went with their special that was written in chalk on the board! I was the Sandwich of Duck & Lamb. The salad on the side was GREAT! Good bitter greens with rich, robust dressing. The chips the sandwich also came with were seasoned well and had an excellent spicy mayo dipping sauce. Sandwich was GREAT as well! Bread was softer than expected. Rich, buttery flavor. The 2 meats were light and worked well together. The sandwich is called "Sandwich Au Lapin De Cannard", but "lapin" translates to rabbit. Warm, cheesy, comforting, filling. Lil' cajun flavor. Caught a bone or 2 while eating it. It happens. Value: It's a brewery that actually serves food and that's always a plus! All prices are in $CAD. My first 12 oz. beer was $8.75. My 2nd one was $9.00. The bacon jerky was $10.00 and the sandwich with salad and chips was $26.00. Extremely reasonable if you ask me. In conclusion, I really enjoyed my time here at Pub BreWskey and I would surely pay this place another visit. Beers rotate all the time so what I had may not even be around by the time you visit. Same goes for the specials on the chalkboard! Thank you for reading and supporting local businesses.
