We been to 3 Brasseurs a few times when visiting Montréal. It's always very busy, but we have never been turned away, always finding a table somewhere. We were there recently and tried a few new things. The espresso martini was delicious, as was the beer flight. For dinner we had french onion soup (very good), Flammekueches (the carnivore was very good, as was the Roma) and the braised bison was fantastic. The server was very friendly and efficient. Stopped by a brewery as hubby was craving a cold brew. This spot was perfect for a snack. It is huge, has two floors and loads of tables and bar area for seating. I can definitely imagine this spot getting busy at night. We ordered a light snack, the warm pretzel, which was so delicious! Hubby loved the beer, and the pretzel was excellent! I have eaten and drank beer here over the years. It's good. It needs a little fine-tuning, but if I'm in the mood for a burger and beer at a reasonable price it's good. The employees are also always very welcoming. I really enjoy when they have the brewmaster and he can give a tour of the upstairs brewery. The blonde beer is the best. today I had their Brasseurs burger. The bun is really good, the maple beer sauce is essentially 90% maple. It's good if you're Canadian. The burger was over cooked, so I'm glad I had the maple beer sauce on the side so I could slather it on to add some moisture. The house salad is excellent, and I like the quasi-beer dressing, as long as you get it on the side. I always get the flight of beer. For a little samples they make me happy. Unfortunately I usually only enjoy two out of the four, I always like the blonde beer, but for some reason I just like getting the sampler. The four premium beer sampler is only $9.40 which I think is a great deal. It be nice if they added some substantial meal salads. It be nice if they added a real American style Mexican tostada salad. So we ordered food items that we never had before. Ordered: Santa Fe poutine 2/5. The best part of the poutine was the fried avocado and the low part, the poutine got soggy too fast. Onion dip with Crostini: 4.5/5. Simply delicious, but slightly a kick missing Sausages with Mac n Cheese: 1/5. It was just very bland. No flavor. It had no of life. Artichoke and Spinach pizza on bland bread 1.5/5. The taste was very bland (I needed hot sauce) and the flat bread became super hard if you didn't fast enough and it was hurting my jaw. The amount of food was a lot but the quality was low and in the end, sadly, the price was high. read more

I used to love any 3 Brasseurs location! But prices have gone too high and quality has gone down over the years, unfortunately. I was with a little group of people and we shared nachos, calamari and the sangria pitcher "Exotica". The nachos were 17$ and had very little toppings and cheese, we basically ate chips. The calamari were 14$ and the serving was very small! Half the little plate was deep fried chips, couldn't believe it. The sangria was 26$ and I really felt like I was drinking juice. I guess the only item I would get here is beer, this is what they're renowned for after all. But I would definitely eat elsewhere. read more

I visited this restaurant a week ago on Tuesday April 25 at 5:30pm. I was visiting Montreal for work with my boss from Ottawa. I mentioned to my boss a great place to go for pizza and a beer before we drove back to Ottawa. We arrived and sat at the bar where a man was sitting beside us. We ordered our food and had a sip of our beer when all of a sudden the man beside my boss started to puke at the bar and in his beer. I asked if he was ok and he looked up and said "I have something for you"! He got up picked up his beer and threw the mug of beer that had his vomit in it all over my boss and me! It was the most disgusting experience I have ever felt. The really shocking thing is how no one helped out that worked at the restaurant or reacted or removed this disgusting man who was puking at the bar and threw his beer all over us. I yelled at him and told him to get the !!!!!!! Out !!! I Kicked him and he spat at me twice still the staff did nothing. My boss was dripping in his vomit and was yelling for help from the staff to get some paper towels so she could clean the vomit off ! This experience was so traumatic to both of us. We were in shock that this man did this to us! The police came and really didn't seem to concerned either. They said they would look at the tape and didn't take our names either. I will never come back to this restaurant and feel humiliated and assaulted from this place and how no one did anything to help us and take charge of getting this disgusting man out as he was drunk!!! While walking back to our hotel one night we noticed Les 3 Brasseurs which was a very short walk from our hotel. It was at this time we realized this was a local brewery chain as we had dinner at the Les 3 Brasseurs in old Montreal a few nights earlier. We decided to give this location a try because our experience at the other location was very nice. The outdoor seating area here was very crowded and located on a street that reminded me of NYC so we decided to eat inside. We were shown to the upstairs dining room, the space was dark and welcoming. Because we had eaten at their other location we knew that we wanted their dark beer and ordered a pitcher. We also ordered a fresh pretzel with mustard to nosh on. A quick look at the menu and we both ordered steak frites. I ordered mine medium well my wife medium rare. Both were properly prepared and very tasty. It was also a good cut of meat. I we had a Les 3 Brasseurs in our area of NYC we would make it a go to place. But if you find yourself in Montreal you can make it your go to place. read more

This the first time I cane to the Crescent location for les 3 brasseurs. My go to location is the one corner of St. Catherine and McGill College but I figured a change would be nice. This was quite a spacious venue -2 floored but for a Wednesday at happening hour they kept everyone on the main floor which was very crammed and crowded. I doubt particular enjoy that aspect. The waitress was nice enough to move us to a table of four because we wanted more space. I really commend her on her service (didn't catch her name). I really like waiters that know the menu like the back of their hands and are genuine. We were going to order the artichoke and dip appetizer but she said not many people enjoy the dish and have returned it in the past. For food: we ordered the chicken wings with mild sauce (finger licking good) ; the goat cheese and sundried tomato flatbread with baby back spinach on top (not to dry and light, good for two people-I wanted to highlight the great service : my friend doesn't like roasted peppers so the waitress said we could have it on the side. We initially got raw peppers on the side but she took them back and made sure they were roasted!). We also ordered the charcuterie board (forgot the exact name of it) it really wasn't that great, very VERY small amount of cheese and meats compared for the 20$ price tag. Skip it. The happy hour special was 3$ on glass of beer, or 5$ for a pint. Extra star given for amazing service for that one waitress!! read more

"What did the banana say to the orange?" This was the starting line of one of the bartenders as a friend and I sat at the bar. The answer is . . . she didn't know. At that point, I knew this place was going to be either super fun or a hot mess. I am sooooo glad that it was the former. After a day of looking at Canadian and worldly art, this bar/restaurant was a much needed delight. First, the bar has an AMAZING selection of craft beers and brews, and interesting cocktails. Also, it has some kind of weird drinks where they pair various beers with frozen drinks. Think of a blonde ale mixed with a pina colada. . . if that is your type of thing. Although I really did not care for these beverages (because they were too sweet for my taste buds), many people who dislike beers may appreciate these beverages. Hell when in Montreal . . . Second, the staff (especially Anna, the bartender) is WONDERFUL. Anna was very FUN and ENTERTAINING. Plus she always made sure that our drinks were filled to the brim. She (not dissing the other staff) probably was the main reason that we had so much fun at Les 3 Brasseurs. The barback girl and manager also were very good. Third, the bar space is very open (like many places in Montreal). It is nice to chill at bar where you are not all on top of each other. Sometimes, you just want to drink without having someone all up in your sh*t. The one drawback is that Canada, like many places in the world, serve exact pours. So, if you want a Bourbon neat, you may have to order 3 at the same time to get a decent drink/buzz. All in all: the next time that I visit Montreal, I will make another trip here. Hell, I may do it without going to the museum. Maybe next time I will even try some of Les 3 Brasseurs' food because on this occassion this more of a drink your calories type of day. read more

I enjoyed my first experience here so much I decided to come back for seconds during my 5 day stay in Montreal. Being a beer lover, this place is fabulous. I highly recommend the Amber, and order a pitcher. The service is great, the staff is friendly and attentive. I would give a 5 star if only the food met my expectations. I ordered the goat cheese and sun-dried tomato pizza my first visit, it was o.k, a bit dry and lacking flavour. On my second visit I ordered the trio-of-dip, which was FANTASTIC but it was only served with 6 small crostini slices which is far from enough to finish the appetizer. I did ask for more crostini but they came cold, stale and unlike the other ones from the original dish :( But thank you to our server Amanda for being so patient and kind. Overall, I would recommend this location for a night out with friends and the chance to try some new brews. read more

This place's ambiance is especially great during a Habs game night! I came here twice recently, once at night and once in the afternoon and I definitely suggest coming here at night. Awesome beers and decor! I ordered the Brie and blue burger and a salad add my side. Both items were delicious. my husband also had a burger, but had the special fries, which were amazing. They also have a great kids menu which includes a drink and dessert. And an lovely salad as a healthy side for your kids. Our waiter was also very good, and hooked us up with a beer flight so we could try some of the house beers! It was so unexpected and very kind! For being a chain restaurant,I was really impressed.
