A Montreal Micro brewery that i have yet to try ! Beer is excellent, staff are nice and they can help you choose a beer acording to your taste. However there's no table service even if you want to eat. Menu are mostly fast food like, i have to say my spicy chicken burger was good ! Terrace is big and nice and mood are good, i have to check how it is during winter.

Amazing brewery right outside of Montreal. Friendly staff who know their beer--and speak great English. Indoor and outdoor seating. Heated indoor and outdoor. Bar, seating, picnic tables, tables, lounge area, something for everyone. Delicious range of ipas, European styles, stouts, experimentals, smoothie sours, etc! A must visit brewery. If I lived in Montreal (I live in VT), I'd be here every weekend!

Messorem Bracitorium was one of the breweries I've had saved for a long time. They're a micro brewery that specializes in hazy IPA's but there's a variety of beers to please everyone (lagers, pilsners, sours and barrel aged). We dropped in on a bumping Saturday evening (around 8:00pm). Everyone was outside enjoying the beer garden. A live DJ was spinning music all night long. You seat yourself but go inside to the bar to order drinks and food. 27 beers on tap along with a small food menu. Mostly IPA and DIPA style beers but they had two smoothie sours. Note: only half (12oz) and full pours (16oz) are available. No flights and you can only buy their cans at the brewery. - Petit jus de mort: fraise, framboise & fruit de la passion ($8.00 for 12oz) - one of their smoothie sours (strawberry, raspberry and passionfruit). Was impressed; well balanced and refreshing. One of the best smoothie sours I've had. - Le salaire de ton peche ($6.00 for 12oz) - didn't get to try it but my buddy enjoyed his grapefruit gose. - Côtes levées et salade roquette ($15.00 demi rack) - decent portion of spare ribs (for a brewery). Fall off the bone but the sauce was too sweet and the meat a touch dry. Tiny portion of arugula salad. - Frite mayo ($6.00) - fries were soft and limp. The mayo helped save the fries from being a complete disappointment. Solid beers at MB. Keep an eye out for their smoothie sours.

AWESOME CRAFT BREWERY OFFERING GREAT SOUR AND IPA! My brother said this is a "must go" place for our trip, so we went and we LOVE it! There is a huge patio with plenty picnic tables - perfect for chilling out with friends on a sunny day. Unfortunately, it was a rainy day so we sat indoor. It's an old factory type setup with super high ceiling, so it's great too! The beer sommelier was very knowledgeable and took his time to understand our preferences and made recommendations. We had a few IPA and sour. Overall quality is excellent and is with a lot of complexities. We particularly love that they're keen on making "experiential" beers. It may not please everyone, but we truly appreciate their efforts. They make beer with water, malt, hop, yeast, and... HEART!!! We brought home almost two dozen cans, which summarizes how satisfied we were with this visit!

Best beer ! Amazing Chicken burger ! And service is lovely ! Good job guys always helpful and they take the time to explain the new beers - great music and ambiance - perfect summer spot to stop in for a cold one - or even on a cold winter day - inside is very cool too !

Loved this spot!! I've been meaning to visit for months and it did not disappoint. The beer selection is extensive (especially if you're an IPA lover) and includes some unique picks like the sour smoothie and IPA smoothie. While the majority of the menu features various IPAs, they are mainly hazy or juicy IPAs (rather than WCIPA or NEIPA if those are your preference)! Note that drinks are delicious but expensive - only served in half-glasses or full-glasses (pints are not available) and cost $8-$9 for a full glass. The inside is a gorgeous converted warehouse and the terrasse is incredible -- with tons of seating and direct sunlight. A fantastic spot to catch up with friends! It also feels like one of the only dog-friendly terrasses left in Montreal! The food is definitely overpriced for what you get ($15 for a sandwich with no sides is tough to swallow) but this place really can't be beat when it comes to drinks! Highly recommend for any small group looking for some beers in the sunshine.

Came here on a sublime Saturday afternoon in September. Weather was just perfect a sunny day around 25C (77F). The patio was just hopping full of people sipping on beer, conversations happening with fresh music playing. Definitely a very chill vibe and one that brought me back to my college days. Micro brews establishments have taken a bit longer to have the scene that rivals many American cities but Montreal has shown some upcoming promise. MB is a great addition that started in 2019 and looks to be a super well designed place For beer lovers to rejoice. On our visit I sampled the corpse lite to start out- very easy drinking light beer first. Some light cereal grains and light to medium carbonation. Second for me was the double nihilisme. This was a much sweeter mango passionfruit double IPA. It was delicious and much sweeter, little carbonation and full of flavour. We ordered some fries with mayo on the side snd they give you a buzzer and food comes out of a side kitchen window. Fries were tasty as a side with the beer! The terrace- patio is perfect for an afternoon session to sample what they have on tap. It is a large place with the picnic benches and tables. Small suggestions if the owners care: 1) having a 3 or 4 small glass flight sampler would be great addition as it allows you to sample a bit of everything before committing. 2) having more non beer- boozy offerings would be appreciated. Yes, i fully get the fact that this is a microbrew facility where the focus should be beer. My wife hates the taste of beer and was relegated to drinking water which was fine on a hot day but she would have liked a boozy drink also. On our visit they had the seltzer slush which was being made in the machine but it wasn't ready by the time we left. Some wine, white claw, canned cider or simple mixed drinks would be great for non beer folks. Overall an awesome experience which will I am sure can be refined to be even better! Thanks, I very much look forward to returning back.

This place is awesome! I've always thought of Montreal as being a bit behind on the craft brewery scene compared to similarly-sized cities in the US, but Messorem Bracitorium is definitely a great step in the right direction! It's even got the outskirts of the city/warehouse/middle of nowhere vibes. There's a nice large patio area (which was essential since we went when only terraces were allowed to be open) and everyone working was super friendly. When we first got there we thought we had to wait in a sizable line, but soon realized it was for the bottle shop and there was actually no wait for a table. The smoothie sours were perfect. The petit jus de mort was great and I would have taken some home if they hadn't sold out. The dessert sour was also good and I don't normally care for vanilla in beer. Fun and super frothy. My husband had the german pils which was standard and tasty, and the Not So Bad Apres Tout pale ale was also great. Very refreshing and perfect for a hot day. They don't do flights sadly, but they do 12oz/16oz pours on most of the beers so splitting a few between the two of us worked well enough. They also have food available (as they have to ) which is always a welcome thing at a brewery. We had the poutine which was quite large (a full chinese takeout container) and the pickle salad, which was a bit odd but we were trying to be mildly healthy. They had a fried chicken sandwich that looked really tasty that I would definitely like to get next time.

Working in Montreal for the week and while hunting around for dinner I did my usual Yelp'ing! I…read morediscovered Pub BreWskey near my hotel so I decided to check it out! Here's how it went... Atmosphere/Appearance: The entrance is kinda off the beaten path and the restaurant is located under what looks like some sort of laboratory. Once down the stairs you're greeted by what feels like an underground speakeasy vibes! There's exposed copper ventilation pipes, exposed warm lightbulbs, raw concrete, wood and quite a few places to sit. I sat at the bar on the metal chairs like all pros do! But off to the side is a set of stairs which leads down to the ACTUAL BREWERY where all of the beer is made! I loved that there were windows in which you could look out of to see the giant vats. Really cool. Service: Dany at the bar took excellent care of me and there was nothing more I could've asked of him. He was attentive, fun and made sure I enjoyed my time there. Food/Drinks: First up I started with their Brew Juice, a beer made right in-house. It was their "beer smoothie". It was sweet, filling, thick, sour and crazy flavorful! Tasted nothing like a beer at all. My first appetizer was the Bacon Jerky which is thick-cut bacon in a beer maple glaze, chili seasonings, sesame seeds and green onions. It was mildly sweet, salty, savory, thick, tender and really, really good and not what I was expecting given the name. My 2nd beer was the Double Goose. This one was deliciously sour, gentle, not too sweet at all or harsh. For my entree I went with their special that was written in chalk on the board! I was the Sandwich of Duck & Lamb. The salad on the side was GREAT! Good bitter greens with rich, robust dressing. The chips the sandwich also came with were seasoned well and had an excellent spicy mayo dipping sauce. Sandwich was GREAT as well! Bread was softer than expected. Rich, buttery flavor. The 2 meats were light and worked well together. The sandwich is called "Sandwich Au Lapin De Cannard", but "lapin" translates to rabbit. Warm, cheesy, comforting, filling. Lil' cajun flavor. Caught a bone or 2 while eating it. It happens. Value: It's a brewery that actually serves food and that's always a plus! All prices are in $CAD. My first 12 oz. beer was $8.75. My 2nd one was $9.00. The bacon jerky was $10.00 and the sandwich with salad and chips was $26.00. Extremely reasonable if you ask me. In conclusion, I really enjoyed my time here at Pub BreWskey and I would surely pay this place another visit. Beers rotate all the time so what I had may not even be around by the time you visit. Same goes for the specials on the chalkboard! Thank you for reading and supporting local businesses.

Avante Harde is a large bright space in an old industrial building. There is a glass wall separating us from the brewing. There is a nice pizza oven in the bar area. There were more than 20 beers available on tap and in cans. We tried several and all were great. I really liked the imperial stout. We ordered some pizzas that were pretty good. Maybe the trust could be a little less floppy but it was good. Table service was ok. When we first got there there was only one guy working and he was hopping. At 5:00 more workers showed typo which was great as the bar was getting more customers. It was about a 20 minute taxi back to the hotel. This was very good beer so I recommend you jump in a cab and head to Avant Garde.
