I had a flight and I really liked all of the beers that I tried. I especially liked the Porter. Excellent service and I was lucky to be renting a place within walking distance. I wish they had some merchandise available to purchase but other than that no downside to my visit.

I love this place - beer, vibe, atmosphere, location - EVERYTHING. But I'd never had the food, so this review is all about the planchette we ordered. It's not everyday you can order a little tray of goodies in a bar and discover a kind of food you've never had before! Those mushroomy looking things are SEA WHELKS (bourgots) - a kind of sea snail. Ever so sea-salty and the texture is chewy like squid. Delicious. SMOKED SCALLOPS?! Divine texture and delicate sweet taste. The rillettes were incredible. So was the smoked salmon. A smear of butter or cream to put on the bread along with the smoked salmon is the only thing I would add to this dreaminess. The price was very good for such elegance, around $24.

Bartender was super knowledgeable and nice suggesting pairings and entertaining us with small banter.

This space has had several pretty good bars in it before Pit Caribou arrived. And having enjoyed several drinks in those places, I can say with some authority that Pit Caribou is even better than what came before. We have been here twice and really enjoyed the relaxed vibe here, and the beer is quite tasty as well. During the day the space has a lot of light and if you enjoy a drink during the daytime hours I highly recommend it. The downstairs bathrooms are nicely done and add to the experience. The last time we went, we sat on a raised platform at the back on two rocking chairs which was a high-class way to knock back several pints. The only draw back is that we used to live a couple blocks away - and now we live in a different city, so becoming regulars is harder to pull off.

Pit Caribou is a fun place for a beer. The vibe is young and lively. The service is fast and friendly. I was here just for a quick drink to kill some time. I like what they offered and their line up of beers is solid. Love the different seating options. Great for groups, couple and even single at the bar! Worth visiting if you are in the area!

We really enjoyed our evening! This was such a chill place for a drink. Service was pretty good. The server did his best to explain some of the menu items since my French is only so-so. Nice decor: retro industrial. Dim lighting, cool fixtures,... I liked the set up of the bathrooms. Plenty of beers on tap. Variety of alcoholic drinks that aren't beers. Lots of non-alcoholic choices for those who are deemed designated drivers. Although I didn't try the food, this place is definitely worth a return visit. I would love to sit in a booth/banquette next time!

This place is great for a nice 4 à 7 or even a full (long) evening, the service is good and there are amazing beers!!! They have great little snacks that will well accompany your beers.

Most of us would hardly find time to travel to Gaspésie and surroundings. Well if you are in Montreal you will get some taste of it in Pit Carribou. Delicious beers. I started with a flight of four of the Pit Caribou's classic brews. You have also an option for flight of the five classics and one special, but that was a little bit too much to drink on Sunday at 5pm. Then some of us exhibited interest towards the strawberry visiting beers from Le Naufrageur, A la bourdages won the competition with Strawberry Field in my view although it is a relatively strong one. Food wise it gets even better, simple menu offering some delicious options from the same region to snack on and two beautiful platters, one of them sea food based, which is kind of rare and nice. Friendly and attentive service. Overall comfortable pub that will make every beer lover happy.

Service was great, sour beer was a first, and bread with fish spread was delish. The crowd for watching the World Cup was friendly too.

Working in Montreal for the week and while hunting around for dinner I did my usual Yelp'ing! I…read morediscovered Pub BreWskey near my hotel so I decided to check it out! Here's how it went... Atmosphere/Appearance: The entrance is kinda off the beaten path and the restaurant is located under what looks like some sort of laboratory. Once down the stairs you're greeted by what feels like an underground speakeasy vibes! There's exposed copper ventilation pipes, exposed warm lightbulbs, raw concrete, wood and quite a few places to sit. I sat at the bar on the metal chairs like all pros do! But off to the side is a set of stairs which leads down to the ACTUAL BREWERY where all of the beer is made! I loved that there were windows in which you could look out of to see the giant vats. Really cool. Service: Dany at the bar took excellent care of me and there was nothing more I could've asked of him. He was attentive, fun and made sure I enjoyed my time there. Food/Drinks: First up I started with their Brew Juice, a beer made right in-house. It was their "beer smoothie". It was sweet, filling, thick, sour and crazy flavorful! Tasted nothing like a beer at all. My first appetizer was the Bacon Jerky which is thick-cut bacon in a beer maple glaze, chili seasonings, sesame seeds and green onions. It was mildly sweet, salty, savory, thick, tender and really, really good and not what I was expecting given the name. My 2nd beer was the Double Goose. This one was deliciously sour, gentle, not too sweet at all or harsh. For my entree I went with their special that was written in chalk on the board! I was the Sandwich of Duck & Lamb. The salad on the side was GREAT! Good bitter greens with rich, robust dressing. The chips the sandwich also came with were seasoned well and had an excellent spicy mayo dipping sauce. Sandwich was GREAT as well! Bread was softer than expected. Rich, buttery flavor. The 2 meats were light and worked well together. The sandwich is called "Sandwich Au Lapin De Cannard", but "lapin" translates to rabbit. Warm, cheesy, comforting, filling. Lil' cajun flavor. Caught a bone or 2 while eating it. It happens. Value: It's a brewery that actually serves food and that's always a plus! All prices are in $CAD. My first 12 oz. beer was $8.75. My 2nd one was $9.00. The bacon jerky was $10.00 and the sandwich with salad and chips was $26.00. Extremely reasonable if you ask me. In conclusion, I really enjoyed my time here at Pub BreWskey and I would surely pay this place another visit. Beers rotate all the time so what I had may not even be around by the time you visit. Same goes for the specials on the chalkboard! Thank you for reading and supporting local businesses.

It has 3 slices of ham (good and cooked in maple syrup I think), crispy bacon, sausages, eggs, baked beans and breakfast potatoes. Basically, only the beans, bacon and ham were good. The duck poutine beer sauce was delicious but heavy as you can imagine. The beet salad was fresh and nicely marinated.
