Belgian Tripel, Chocolate Chipotle Stout, IPA Brut and New England Pale Ale - from left to right.

Amazing place, excellent selection of quality beers and helpful, knowledgeable staff. A friend recommended coming here and the low-key, comfortable ambience makes it ideal to chill, chat and try some amazing brews. If you're hungry they don't serve food. But fear not! You can bring your own food or order out and have it delivered. They're cool with that. The selection varies according to season, but the sampler - four 4-oz. glasses of different beers of your choice - gives you an opportunity to try more than one beer per visit. And if there's one you like, you can take it home in a 32- or 64-oz. growler. Haven't been to a bar in years, but I can tell you the prices here are inexpensive for the quality of product you get. Finding the Brasserie might be a challenge since it's off the beaten path just a bit. That said, this place is well worth the trip. You're sure to also become a fan.

Great start! The first time we walked in the brew house had only 2 types on tap...the owner Troy spent a nice amount of time telling us the (very fresh at 1 week open) history of his "why open a craft brewery". Of course my answer is always.."why the hell not!" Nice IPA..let us try a bitter from his fermenter pre-carb. Second visit they had 5 ready. All good. Then I met the BrewMASTER, Daniel...someone I had met while he worked for another brewery. We talked homebrew and my concoctions and was excited he would now have the freedom to try new creations himself in this new craft house. I look forward to those! In an industrial section of town..don't expect scenery..but in the 2 weeks open the 5 a 7 on Thursday was about to be standing room only. Looks like they are in for some hearty business! Good luck, neighbours!

This place has been open for over two months, but it is a great place to sit down and have some great micro brews.

Not only did they have both but they were some of the best I have had. The 20 - Somnia Extererri Mango smoothy sour was so rich sweet and sour that it reminded me of a tropical cocktail but I would rather this one. No notes. The 6 - Above the Nuage hazy IPA and the 10 - Commutatio hazy IPA were both super hazy and fruity that you couldnt see even through the sample. It was complex and bright. Just what I look for in hazies. The seating was amazing too. Plenty of varied seating from long couches that could hold big groups, to picnic benches, and even a few single seating on the side. Even with the heat, the trees blocked out most of the sun so it was always a good tempurature without needing unbrellas The line would go from a few people to out the door quickly but they went through them pretty fast. When there arent many people (and depending on the bartender) they give samples which was how we got to find some of these great ones, but when its long they tend to shy away from samples so wait for it to calm down if you want some. I hope I can come back to Montreal again some time to come back to this one. I will miss it and recomend it to anyone visiting.

Working in Montreal for the week and while hunting around for dinner I did my usual Yelp'ing! I…read morediscovered Pub BreWskey near my hotel so I decided to check it out! Here's how it went... Atmosphere/Appearance: The entrance is kinda off the beaten path and the restaurant is located under what looks like some sort of laboratory. Once down the stairs you're greeted by what feels like an underground speakeasy vibes! There's exposed copper ventilation pipes, exposed warm lightbulbs, raw concrete, wood and quite a few places to sit. I sat at the bar on the metal chairs like all pros do! But off to the side is a set of stairs which leads down to the ACTUAL BREWERY where all of the beer is made! I loved that there were windows in which you could look out of to see the giant vats. Really cool. Service: Dany at the bar took excellent care of me and there was nothing more I could've asked of him. He was attentive, fun and made sure I enjoyed my time there. Food/Drinks: First up I started with their Brew Juice, a beer made right in-house. It was their "beer smoothie". It was sweet, filling, thick, sour and crazy flavorful! Tasted nothing like a beer at all. My first appetizer was the Bacon Jerky which is thick-cut bacon in a beer maple glaze, chili seasonings, sesame seeds and green onions. It was mildly sweet, salty, savory, thick, tender and really, really good and not what I was expecting given the name. My 2nd beer was the Double Goose. This one was deliciously sour, gentle, not too sweet at all or harsh. For my entree I went with their special that was written in chalk on the board! I was the Sandwich of Duck & Lamb. The salad on the side was GREAT! Good bitter greens with rich, robust dressing. The chips the sandwich also came with were seasoned well and had an excellent spicy mayo dipping sauce. Sandwich was GREAT as well! Bread was softer than expected. Rich, buttery flavor. The 2 meats were light and worked well together. The sandwich is called "Sandwich Au Lapin De Cannard", but "lapin" translates to rabbit. Warm, cheesy, comforting, filling. Lil' cajun flavor. Caught a bone or 2 while eating it. It happens. Value: It's a brewery that actually serves food and that's always a plus! All prices are in $CAD. My first 12 oz. beer was $8.75. My 2nd one was $9.00. The bacon jerky was $10.00 and the sandwich with salad and chips was $26.00. Extremely reasonable if you ask me. In conclusion, I really enjoyed my time here at Pub BreWskey and I would surely pay this place another visit. Beers rotate all the time so what I had may not even be around by the time you visit. Same goes for the specials on the chalkboard! Thank you for reading and supporting local businesses.

Avante Harde is a large bright space in an old industrial building. There is a glass wall separating us from the brewing. There is a nice pizza oven in the bar area. There were more than 20 beers available on tap and in cans. We tried several and all were great. I really liked the imperial stout. We ordered some pizzas that were pretty good. Maybe the trust could be a little less floppy but it was good. Table service was ok. When we first got there there was only one guy working and he was hopping. At 5:00 more workers showed typo which was great as the bar was getting more customers. It was about a 20 minute taxi back to the hotel. This was very good beer so I recommend you jump in a cab and head to Avant Garde.
