The young girl who helped me with my daughter's shoes was very nice and helpful. But that's as far as it went because once I got to the register the girl had an ATROCIOUS attitude. When I asked another associate her name he said it was Kalyn or something along those lines. It may or may not be her name. However she was African- American. Very Heavy set with a horrible brownish colored wig that wasn't even centered on her head. It was obvious she did not want to work or was having a bad day. I asked her a question about my points and she didn't respond. One would think she hearing disabled. Her entire demeanor was straight trash. Employees like her should definitely be in the stock room and not interact with customers. I know help is hard to find and she is an example of a company being desperate for workers but she definitely does not need to be behind the register or she needs some basic training. I asked for the manager who they said was Jazz. She was not there. At least that's what they said.

The worst customer service I have ever experienced. No one was helpful, except the person who was…read morealready helping a ton of people. No,one aside from him asked if I needed help. Then, the one guy that did finally decide to help me had a horrible attitude, and the young lady did as well. I was bounced from the men side to the womens side because they refused to communicate with each other. Ridiculous.

I love L.L. Bean. The quality and guarantee can not be beat. If you don't like it, take it back…read more If it breaks, take it back. If you have not been there, this shop specializes in clothing faith some outdoor, camping, fishing and kayaking. Clothes are focused on active winter wear at the moment. They have great catalog's as well. The staff is awesome. Now, if you are from the NE, Mass, NH, Main..this is a really small store and does not carry the selection you would be used to. But, this is a great place to get the clothing selection. Little skimpy on the footwear though.

Conversely, $29.99 for a great, warm fleece vest as long as you were willing to forgo the LL Bean logo on the breast pocket area. (BTW...? What's up with that? When I asked the sales lady, she said it was their "Value Line that they tried." "But it's so warm," I answered. "Yeah, it's still fabulous." ...hmmm... Speaking of salespeople, they were all over the place. Some were very patient, "I am sure that my Extra Large Tote has pockets," "Uh, none of them have ever been sold with pockets on the inside." "Yes, they have. I'm sure of it. Mine is very old." "Uh, well, that is interesting...I...," "It's vintage, it's from the 70's." "Well, I actually collect them. I have several from the 60's and the 70's and none have pockets, so, sorry," he said, taking the tote from her. (Patient for 2026, I mean). Some were not patient at all, "So, which do you want?" "Uh, I think I like the one that's all white." "Weel, do you want to get it monogrammed?" "Uh, no, I like it like this," "Really? 'Cause, it really looks great. And it only costs ten dollars. And the guy will be here in like ten minutes. And you should do it. Now all you have to do is walk yourself over to the front desk and order it." Wow. I would not have been sold. And in fact, the woman was not. But, I did walk out with a couple of nice canvas bags (one non-traditional one) that I need for secret spy purposes.
